Was there modern technology before the flood? – This article is an example of a piece which would have been great–IF it had stopped about halfway through. For some reason, many who profess to be Christians are in love with science fiction scenarios. After making a tremendous point about the Iron Age, the author of his article just can’t resist the siren call of worldly science fiction.

The question of how Noah and his family could care for the million or so species of land animals that would have had to be on the ark is explainable if they carried the animals as frozen embryos or if they were carried in some sort of suspended animation. Otherwise, there would be some difficulty in having enough room and food to last a full year, to keep all those animals in good health. While a million animals would fit crowded into tiny cubicles, without any room to move, it is questionable that they would survive for a full year. Certainly you can get a lot of sheep in a boxcar, but you leave them for a year crowded like that, even if they have food and water, it is not likely that they would survive.

This not only adds ungodly speculation to the Bible’s account of Noah and the flood (there seems to be a lot of that going around in 2014), but it questions the account Genesis provides by concluding that if the Genesis account was the correct one, “it is not likely that they [the animals on the ark] would survive.”

This adding to and taking away from the Bible is a serious hindrance to true believers in the end times.

Herbert Spencer – (h/t:F) Worth another link. The number of antichrist workers of iniquity in the 19th century was impressive and spanned every human field of endeavor. Herbert Spencer was but one of those. But he was an important one: he was a philosopher. His job was to provide philosophical reasons for doubting God’s Word–and he did.

NYC Rats are infected with at least 18 new viruses researchers found – Ahhh, there had to be a reason the late night comics (one of the prime conduits of Corporate Media propaganda) have been making so many jokes about ‘rats in the cities.” Over the last month, late night comics have dedicated at least a dozen or two jokes to rats in the cities, rats in the subways.

Their viewers think the purpose of the rat jokes were to entertain. Entertainment is only a byproduct for the jokes. The jokes’ main purpose was to disseminate propaganda–such as “rats carry disease including 18 NEW types of viruses.”

When new viruses begin infecting the population, at least some of the late night viewers will say to themselves and others “I’ll bet I know where those new diseases came from: the Rats!” This is a prime example of the co-ordination between Big Government, Big Entertainment and Big Media–all with the object to maintain that level of deception necessary to usher Americans into their end times roles.

In the same manner, there is an underlying reason the late night propaganda-spewers have been making jokes about the number of criminals in the NFL for the last few months.

One suspects we will find out that reason in the near future.

Scientists analyzed the pathogens in New York City’s rats–and the results are even grosser than Expected – The late night jokes are a way of ensuring that Americans who won’t read the papers or listen to the news know about rats and new diseases.

EBOLA travel bans enacted by 30 countries, but not the USA – Notice how the headline reports more than what happened? “30 travel bans enacted by 30 countries” tells the reader what actually happened. Adding “…but not the USA” adds a subjective opinion on the end of the headline in such a way that most readers will not notice. It allows the Corporate Media to pump the party line into the public’s consciousness without the public realizing it.

Then when a person goes to work and says “They ought to ban travel from Ebola countries” the person will honestly believe that they had this thought themselves. In fact, they will resist the suggestion that it was planted in them.

“Are you trying to tell me the government/media tells me what to think? I don’t think so! NOBODY tells me what to think!”

And most really, truly believe that.

NEWS about World War 3.
Are we on the road to World War 3? How much time do we have? Is there anything we can do about the events which are soon to overtake those living on the earth?

September 1– Today is the 75th anniversary of the beginning of World War II. It’s mentioned only as a reminder that world war has occurred several times in the past 100 years. It also effectively occurred a few times prior to the 20th century.

This week Ukraine split time in the Corporate Media with ISIS/Iraq/Syria. That has been the pattern the Media has fallen into over the last three-four weeks.

Last week we wondered: Is a similar lull in store for the ending of summer [2014]?

And an uneasy lull has settled over the USA heading into the Labor Day weekend.

The lull might be the scariest part of the media cycle. It’s usually after a lull of a week or so, another event which leads the world further down the road to World War 3 occurs.

For readers who have missed the last two installments of World War3 Watch, the pre-conditions to World War 3 were discussed and listed.

For a fuller discussion of these points, the reader may refer to World War 3 Watch: August 18, 2014 and World War 3 Watch: August 25, 2014.

Once more: for a little while longer, the regular media cycle will predominate.

1- An event takes place which could spark war; 2- The media covers said event 24/7; 3- Speculation continues about the event and its likelihood of causing World War III; 4- An uneasy return to “normal” until the next event.

Events in Ukraine will serve as distractions for actions in Gaza, Syria and Iraq. The current news cycle concerning Ukraine has just about outlived its usefulness. If Ukraine is to continue in this manner, new, more violent actions will have to take place in Ukraine. Those violent actions appeared to take place this past week with Russia allegedly moving tanks into eastern Ukraine.

The Ebola threat continued to be magnified by the media this past week. As did the constant media threat of an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) attack.

Ebola in America: What does the Bible Say?

Again, regardless of what hot spot the media is featuring this week, one suspects that when WW3 does finally begin, it will begin in that most volatile of regions, the Middle East.

THE CALL: Regardless of the seriousness of the events in the Ukraine, ISIS and the Islamic State is the name of the game where WW3 is concerned. Propaganda over ISIS will escalate faster than the events.

The Corporate Media will continue to keep the focus on the Islamic State (ISIS) with Ukraine serving as a convenient distraction. Events in Syria have consolidated into ISIS coverage. Expect the media to further morph ISIS coverage so that eventually, all Middle Eastern Muslim coverage will fall under the umbrella of ISIS in some manner.

THE BAD NEWS: The propaganda campaign, which is necessary to prepare a country for total war, continued to escalate this past week. This acceleration has occurred over the last four weeks. Expect a continued media focus on Muslim atrocities and Christian persecution.

THE GOOD NEWS: Once again, Asia and all of the other “hot spots continue to be relatively quiet last week. North Korea did test fire three missiles two weeks ago. China receives random coverage over actions claimed to be threatening to the USA.

What will this coming week bring?

UPDATES [September 1, 2014]

Ukraine – Continues to simmer. Events are on an up-and-down pattern. This past week, violence was UP. However, these events are distractions EVEN THOUGH full-scale war may be about to break out in Ukraine.

IRAQ: The hand-wringing over a Caliphate continues. The world seems powerless to stop ISIS. Bombs don’t seem to stop them. It’s looking like only a full-scale war will do it. The escalation of the propaganda involving ISIS and Iraq this past week continue last week’s ominous turn. ISIS will continue to grow until Americans are convinced ISIS poses an existential threat to America.

GAZA: Israel and Hamas continue to kill each other’s civilians.

SYRIA: Syria continues to be the possible new front in the “War against ISIS.” Once war begins, it will be hard for it to not escalate in one capacity or another.

There’s a 42% chance of World War III; which is steady%. This is the immediate likelihood of the commencement of World War 3. The long view is 100%. The number is due to the continued strong prewar propaganda push targeting the USA.

A continued chance of a domestic terror attack before October 2016 leading to war in the Middle East : [+77%}. That’s No Change. Continued talk in the media of a Muslim terror attack, terror cells already in the USA and terrorists coming across the purposely porous US southern border. The tone of the pre-war propaganda escalated sharply the past three weeks. Expect this number to gradually increase until the actual attack.

Asia continues “Quiet.”

Africa – quiet.

Nothing has changed over the last year in the following assessment: The Middle East and North Africa remain a tinderbox awaiting a spark.

TENSION ASSESSMENT: September 1, 2014

North Korea – steady
Ukraine – up
Syria – up slightly on media talk of a Syrian front in the ISIS war
Jordan – down
East Africa – steady – This includes South Sudan
China – down
Japan – continued downward trend over last few weeks
North Africa – up slightly in Libya, which has had renewed outbreaks of violence
Russia – up, with continued interest in Ukraine, Syria and Iraq.
USA – steady with Iraq and Syrian war talk. Government interest in Ukraine is minimal; interest in Israel/Gaza is hands-off.
Israel – steady. Ground war in Gaza grinding on.
Egypt – steady with continued pockets of unrest
Iran – Steady, though action of elite Iranian units in Iraq were reported.
NATO – quiet
Iraq – steady. Continued chaos by “ISIS.” USA talking of resuming war.

The world is on a steady march to World War 3. There will be periods of calm, periods of violence. Even during the periods of quiet, nothing will deter the beginning of World War 3. It’s only a matter of timing.

The one question that never gets asked: How did the media know the latest events will lead to World War 3? The WW3 headlines began back last year in 2013.

In May of 2013 this writer had a conversation with a fellow about the media using the term “World War 3.” The fellow claimed “I haven’t seen it.” The response? “It’s just beginning.” At that time, the question was asked “How does the media know the events will lead to World War 3? Why is this outcome written as if it’s a foregone conclusion?

September 1, 2014 – On this 75th anniversary of World War II, there is talk of another World War: World War III. Iraq continues to be the focus but Syria is beginning to enter the picture as well. It’s all about the spectre of the Islamic State (ISIS) and the West’s seeming inability to stop what the media portrays as a “juggernaut.”

The pre-war propaganda concerning ISIS continues to escalate which is significant for World War 3 watchers.

SPECULATION: Ukraine continues to have violence, but this is a decoy. Even war in Ukraine will not bring about WW3. Iraq and Syria are where events in a future start to WW3 will center, after, it’s imagined, a terror attack on the USA happens.

Overall Tension Assessment: Ukraine has heated up. Iraqi violence continues. Syria is opening up as a front. Israel-Gaza is churning. It is suspected that Syria, Libya, Iran and China will take turns leading the World War III discussion before war actually breaks out.

The world is still relatively quiet but time is running out. The media continues to stoke war fear. People are clearly nervous about the potential for World War 3. Enjoy the relative peace for at a little while longer.

The most disconcerting item which happened is the lull surrounding Labor Day. Will Tuesday bring bad news? We’ll see.

Anger in America: Programmed to Hate

America is Angry Every Day

“God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.”

God is angry with sinners every day.

Americans are just angry. Period.

Question: Is practically everyone in America angry?

If not, it sure seems that way.

Whether riding in a car–particularly if riding in a car–or browsing the Internet, anger seems to be the emotion of the hour. And there’s a healthy suspicion that this is the way Americans have been programmed for the last three or four decades.

In fact, Americans have been programmed to hate something or somebody for decades/centuries.

“Programmed to be angry” began after World War II, but it got started in earnest during the 1960s with the anti-war movement. So many hippies pretended to be “righteously angry.” Many of those angry hippies are helping run the country today and they are still for the most part angry.

During the 1970s and 1980s, the “Be assertive (rude, angry)” training began with the media featuring many, many pieces about how everyone from your milkman to your relatives to the phone company was “running all over you.” The advice? Be assertive! The underlying premise was straight out of 1976 movie, Network: I’m mad as *** and I’m not going to take it anymore!”

Comedy clubs really took off in the 1980s and in the 1990s, they brought the idea of “angry humor” into every village and town. Americans learned to laugh at anger. Americans were taught that anger was funny. In fact, the quote “All comedy is based on anger” was treated as if it were true.

Race issues have been a source of anger for decades. Manipulation of the news by the Corporate Media has inflamed anger along racial lines for decades. A few of these media events over the last 20 years were

Political discourse took a decidedly angry tone in the 1990s and it has only intensified. No longer were there merely political disagreements in America. Now, they took on a bigger-than-life meaning. “No compromise!” is fine in Christianity, but in politics it a battle cry to hide behind. Nothing much productive has gotten done in DC since. For some odd reason, there always seems to be enough agreement to get the things done that most Americans DON’T want done, however.

The Corporate Media has a stake in stoking anger. There is much discussion over what that stake may be, but fanning the flames of anger to no good end is a Corporate Media (Satan’s Mouthpiece) specialty. One suspects it is because an angry people are more easily led. Before war, anger is stoked in the media–particularly against the future opponents.

Most American wars have begun with something that made Americans very angry.

War on Terror – Attack on September 11

Which makes the constant media outrage over all things Muslim instructive to all who have eyes to see. Americans have been relentlessly programmed to hate Muslims for the last 20 years or so. A constant barrage of media pieces depicting Muslims as subhuman beasts, not worthy of life, has helped many Americans wish for war against the Muslims.

“The only good Muslim is a dead Muslim!”

These programmed, angry Americans will soon get their wish. One suspects they will not be angry after the war; rather, they will be shell-shocked. And here’s a little clue: the hatred toward Muslims won’t be focused solely on Muslims for long. It will spread to real Christians. Not the pew-sitters who inhabit the churches. but true believers in Jesus Christ.

But for now, the Corporate Media pretends to be concerned about Christians.

For now.

The media has been filled with stories of “persecuted Christians.” But the Corporate Media HATES Christians, so why all of the attention? “Persecution of Christians” is a story only reported as it pertains to fueling animosity toward Muslims.

Persecution of the Saints: The Fear and the Pit and the Snare

In the meantime: government keeps getting bigger, more powerful, more intrusive, less helpful, more corrupt. And that makes the Americans who have placed their faith in government to solve their problems very angry.

Americans who have placed their faith in the US constitution are also angry that it has not protected the rights they think they have.

Which all brings us to 2014. America is still angry.

If you don’t believe it, sit in traffic for a little while.

Wait in line in a store or government agency.

Be put on hold for more than a few minutes.

Visit various Internet “humor” sites.

The USA is a very angry nation.

Does that make you angry?

A series of observations based upon a false observation of another.

I Refuse to Obey!

This country was formed by rebels whom refused to take orders from the King of England on religious matters. This was the primary focus of our founding Fathers.

Actually, the primary focus of the founding fathers was financial gain, pure and simple. Oh and they were also interested in power; earthly power.

They had no interest in religion, other than as it could serve their purposes of rebellion, a worldly kingdom and economic advancement.

“America: where the streets are paved with gold”
–A belief of immigrants who moved to America to improve their economic well-being, not their morals. Actually, the Bible says that it’s heaven where the streets are paved with gold. But what’s a little literary license where the paving priorities of Babylon are concerned?

IF “religious matters” had concerned the founders, they would have obeyed the many Bible verses which instruct Christian to submit to the civil authorities–whether the Christian agrees with the authorities or not.

Since none of the founders were Christians (although several pretended to be), refusing to take orders from the King of England became a matter of pride, financial gain and power.

This article will not be about the particulars of our founders: that information is easily enough found by anyone possessing an Internet connection, 15 minutes and a willingness to get at the truth. For those interested in the particulars, a number of links at the conclusion of this article will assist the reader in his research.

The founders had their rebellion–which the Bible says is the “same as witchcraft.”

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.”
–1 Samuel 15:23

Romans 13 contains some of the Bible verses which the rebels disregarded:

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.“
–Romans 13:1-2

There’s a veritable cottage industry of “Christians” which revolves around discrediting Romans 13. One of these wolves even asked “Would Jesus obey Romans 13? Think on that for a moment. What this is asking is “Would Jesus (the Word) obey the Word of God?”

It would be amusing if so many who claim to be Christians didn’t follow along after the wolves. But the Bible warned of such behavior in the times in which we live. That’s not amusing: that’s tragic.

But even if the mockers and scoffers succeeded in discrediting Romans 13, there are many, many other Bible verses commanding the Christian to obey the civil authorities. A few follow.

“Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.“
–1 Peter 2:13-17

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;“
–1 Timothy 2:1-3

“Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,“
–Titus 3:1

“The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government [authority].“
–2 Peter 2:9-10

The USA was founded by rebels in open rebellion. Rather than try to obscure such a well-known fact, the founders employed that wonderfully American gift for turning vice into virtue. Generations of American schoolchildren were then taught to adore rebellion, in open defiance of God and God’s law.

Then, the rebels supposedly dedicated this country to Jesus Christ, an individual whose name is not found even once in ANY founding document–and not because it wasn’t thought of. The name of Jesus was proposed several times during the debates on the Bill of Rights. Proposed amendments which contained the name of Jesus were voted down overwhelmingly.

At least Saul Alinsky, the mentor of both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton was honest. In the dedication to his book, Rules for Radicals, Alinsky dedicated the book to the original rebel.

““Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history… the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”

The Americans rebelled and won their kingdom.

Some who fought against the king took the American rhetoric about “taxation without representation” too seriously. Less than 10 years after the constitution was signed, farmers in western Pennsylvania protested the taxation in the Whiskey Rebellion. They were put down ruthlessly with all the lethal power the young country could muster.

To further teach the lesson that rebels would henceforth be put down with no mercy, the Civil War was fought. In America, there was only room for one set of rebels–those who carried out that first planned rebellion.

For years, many bought the lie that in America–that “christian” nation that has spawned dozens of antichrist religions and movements–one could be a friend of the world and a friend of God also. It was called The American Dream.

It was a celebration of covetousness not found in God’s Word, but located in a land where the people were convinced that they could serve both God and mammon at the same time.

America was a gleam in the eye of the mystery of iniquity long before the land was settled. That gleam has now taken form and has become that which was planned so very long ago.

It will be a cold splash of reality for true believers, but one foretold in the Bible. For the lukewarm, it will pretty much be life as usual–after a few bumps and bruises to ensure that they know on which side their bread is buttered.

The USA began by lifting the high hand of rebellion to God.

The Bible declares it will end the same way.

Because fleshly men will not obey, God will finally be forced to take action.

“An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.“

America’s past has been very tightly controlled so as to help shape her future. Her future is not as many Americans imagine it to be. Her future will be much different. In fact, America’s future will be as it was imagined hundreds of years ago by the mystery of iniquity.

As foretold many places in the Bible.

Used to enjoy listening to Chris Rosebrough’s Fighting for the Faith program. Then it was noticed that for someone supposedly contending for the faith, Rosebrough offered comfort to the enemy.

The first disturbing moment came when Rosebrough interviewed Jonathan Cahn (of the Harbinger). A bigger softball, puff piece interview could not be imagined. Frankly, it was shocking and made this writer re-think Fighting for the Faith.

But anyone can make a mistake.

Then it was noticed that Rosebrough picked particularly easy targets. All of the time. Joel Osteen, Benny Hinn, emergent church: Rosebrough’s a bulldog on the obviously apostate.

In Christian Distractions, Christian Lightning Rods: Obviously Apostate, Obviously Lost, we covered the easy targets that occupy Christians’ time and give them a false sense of discernment. Does one even need discernment to know the Church of Satan is bad?

Not much was said about the easy targets (Joel Osteen, Word of Faith, emergent church, Church of Satan) providing the basis for a whole industry of false discernment ministries. But it appears to be the subject for a necessary future article.

Rosebrough on The New Prophets of Science Fiction Eschatology?

Silence.

In fact, Rosebrough gave comfort and support to Cris Putnam–a dealer of poison to the Body of Christ and one of the New Science Fiction Prophets. That was the third strike.

The Corporate Media–an arm of the government–has shamelessly promoted anger and hatred by its relentless trumpeting of extra-legal rights for those who disdain the countries in which they have settled. The endgame? Neo-Nazi ultra-nationalist parties get stronger while anger and hatred grow as a remedy for bureaucrats and non-responsive government.

It’s all a dress rehearsal for the United States, which is in the formative stages of such manipulation now.

EUROPEAN UNION: The voters have expressed skepticism with the EU. Will the bureaucrats listen?

At an Internet aggregator called Christian Homophobia, a variety of linked articles purporting to demonstrate that Christians hate homosexuals. The author, one Gerrit Visser, is at an immediate disadvantage due to the title of his site. There are homophobes and there are Christians, but the term “Christian homophobe” is itself a contradiction in terms.

If the person hates homosexuals, that person is committing as great a sin as the homosexual. A true Christian is not to exhibit hatred, which is the same as murder in the eyes of God. A person who has hate in his heart is separated from God.

“Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.”
—1 John 3:15

Now, there are the Westboro Baptist folks (“God hates fags“)–who are neither Baptists nor Christians–and other of their ilk who do what they do. Someone is paying the Westboro cult very good money to do what they do–which is to bring reproach to the name of Christ. But again, they are not Christians. They are a group of no more than two dozen who profit handsomely from their ungodly behavior.

Christians are commanded to love the homosexual, but they are also commanded to hate sin. Jesus died for the homosexuals just as he did for all sinners who will turn from their sin and believe on Him.

Just as He loves all of His creation, God does not desire that any should perish. God loves homosexuals–right up until the moment they die. Then the Perfect Judge must judge perfectly. Christians are to tell the homosexual of his sin and, more importantly, that God in His mercy, made a way for them to be free of sin’s shackles through the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Mr. Visser defines his own terms as far as what constitutes a “homophobe.” In so doing, he rejects Biblical authority and creates his own basis for his authority.

“The existence of christian homophobia is fueled by bible interpretation. It is expressed in the condemnation of homosexual behavior. Christian homophobes label the homosexual orientation as sin. As a consequence christian fundamentalists don’t fully accept LGBT identities as categories.”

Ironically, this rejection of Biblical authority places Gerrit Visser on the same level as the Westboro performers. Perhaps if he tires of running his Christian Homophobia website, Mr. Visser might make a little money on the side by joining the Phelps clan to do a little Westboro-style preaching about hatred?

They both appear to be cut from the same cloth.

Are all matters related to ghosts, hauntings, psi phenomena etc demonically driven, or does the Bible itself provide us with alternate ways to view such events? Putnam challenges the accepted answers, and uses sound logic as well as ample scripture references to cause one to consider other possibilities.

A quick look at his M.O. will show that Mr. Putnam’s “challenges” to anyone disagreeing with his unbiblical assertions usually consists of Putnam repeatedly asking “What are your credentials?” instead of simply responding to any questions.

Which is all he can do really. How badly he can torture the Scripture he uses to give his work that deceptive christian veneer appears to be Putnam’s primary use for the Bible.

Putnam–along with co-defendant Tom Horn–has been a shameless promoter for the occult, pagan and gnostic worldviews hiding behind a mask of Christianity. In this latest effort, he simply drops all pretenses and makes it official.

MODERN AMERICAN TESTIMONY: No Jesus, No Christ

**THE STRANGE NEW TESTIMONIES IN THE AMERICAN CHURCH**

CAN I GET A WITNESS?

OVERHEARD IN AN AMERICAN CHURCH

During a service in an American church about a year ago, it was announced that it was time for testimonies. About a dozen or so people were called upon to make public their “testimony.”

The first few testimonies came from those who were part of the “praise and worship team.”

“I’m so lucky to be a part of this church!”

“We’re blessed to have such a wonderful pastor and his wife!”

“I was wandering around in the dark, but since I’ve been a part of this church, I’ve learned so much!”

And so on.

After twelve or thirteen such “testimonies,” one thing stood out.

Not one person had named “Jesus” or “Christ” or “Jesus Christ.”

One older man did mention “the Lord.”

Once.

The only mention of God’s goodness was one who had thanked God for leading her to that particular church.

A few months later, a similar event occurred with various people chosen by the worship leader to once again give their “testimony.”

The accounts of this second event closely mirrored the ones of the first.

Many were thankful, but were thankful for the church building as a meeting place, the family (social) atmosphere it provided, the intensive specialized training that the youth were receiving, the pastor and his wife who oversaw it all.

Once again, Jesus was left out of the testimonies.

Actually, the second time around, no one even mentioned “the Lord.”

At the end of this second round of testimonies, the congregation clapped, as it did after the first time.

No one seemed to notice that more than two dozen people, on two different occasions, had stood and publicly declared how their lives had changed.

And not one of them had mentioned Jesus.

Not one of those providing testimonies seemed to realize that they had missed an opportunity.

“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.”

Sad.

The church in question prided itself on its enthusiastic worship and it’s love of Jesus. How many times did the words “I’m so proud…” fall from the lips of the pastor or the worship leader?

No one seemed uncomfortable that pride is a sin.

Was this church the exception in America? Or is it the rule? One suspects that there are a great many more churches filled with people who are thankful for a great many things. Some of the pew-sitters may even be thankful for Jesus–if they were given enough time to compile a longer list.

One suspects that there are also a great many more churches filled with people who are willing to testify of those things which cause them to swell with pride.

With all of the good things in life that cause so many to be so proud, who has time to remember Jesus?

Christian testimonies that do not mention the name of Jesus Christ?

Only in an apostate nation convinced of its devotion to Christ.

Only in an apostate country proud of its Christian history.

Only in the times in which we live.

Only in America.
