“Because they received not the love of the truth”
“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

One of the saddest aspects of the end times is the pervasive deceit which the Bible says is present. Why is this sad?
Because many of those who are deceived know they are being lied to. But, they have been deceived into believing various lies that prevent them from breaking free of their bondage.
“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
—2 Corinthians 4:4
To this end, Americans are surrounded by propaganda and lies.
Some might disagree, connecting propaganda with the clunky, old Soviet version. But propaganda is in every news article, on the TV, in the entertainment, in advertisements. In short, propaganda reinforces itself by being everywhere.
Propaganda is different than bold-faced lies. Propaganda appeals to emotions, attempting to sweep the reader away with anger, hatred, patriotism, or other strong feelings.
Take the following joke by Jimmy Fallon–and late night “jokes” are prime areas for propaganda and the reinforcement of previously-told lies. It reinforces a “scientific fact” which has no proof: that oil is a fossil fuel. Why the mystery of iniquity wishes Americans to believe in the fossil fuel fairy tale is another story for another day.
Fifteen states across the country have gas prices that have dipped below $2. That means it’s now cheaper to buy a gallon of liquefied dinosaurs than one cup of coffee at Starbucks.

Good one!
This is a good demonstration of how every “joke” is a small piece of propaganda or a lie.
There is no entertainment in the way that most people think about entertainment. There are only opportunities to implant more lies, propaganda, and deceptions. Whether it is a movie, a song, a TV show, comedy or whatever, all entertainment is a series of opportunities to indoctrinate the masses when they are relaxed and have let their guards down.
ALL entertainment has become a series of lies, half-truths, propaganda and deceit–including the joke reproduced here.
But this joke is more of a lie than propaganda.
Lies are everywhere one looks. People believe hundreds of lies every day, beginning with every commercial they see or hear or read.
Lies are especially prevalent in the modern churches.
Because many have fairly comfortable lives, they are content with believing lies. To question them would involve too much work, unsettling personal relationships or a possible loss of prestige, money or social contacts.
Because many are comfortable with believing lies, God will no longer try to challenge them with the truth of God’s Word. God will turn them over to their lies–and believing those lies will condemn them all.
Every one of them.
