Jesus is recorded to have declared “Take heed” 14 times. Whenever He told those listening to “Take heed,” what was He saying?
Take heed means to “pay close attention to” or to “listen alertly.”
Whenever Jesus said “Take heed,” He then always followed it with some important bit of information to the listener. And example:
“Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.”
—Luke 11:35
But concerning the end times, Jesus only said “Take heed” TWO TIMES The first time is recorded in Matthew, Mark and Luke. What was so important that Jesus prefaced it with “Take heed”?
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”
—Matthew 24:4
“And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:”
—Mark 13:5
“And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.”
—Luke 21:8
Do not be deceived.
Jesus told his listeners to take heed to not be deceived concerning the end times.
There is one other time Jesus said “Take heed” as it concerns the end times. It’s recorded in Luke.
“And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.”
—Luke 21:34
Jesus instructed his audience to take heed and not be overly concerned with over-eating and drinking too much and the cares of this life.
Also necessary information. But the most important instructions: Take heed and let no man deceive you.
Deception is everywhere, every day.
Take heed.
THE GOSPEL
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-4
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
IRAN: Iranian nuke negotiations hit snags – Wasn’t that supposed to be over with? Didn’t the Corporate Media already tell us over and over and over again that Obama gave away the ranch?
States Rebel Against EPA’s Clean Power Plan – That’s what they’re claiming. Of course, outside of some kabuki theater, nothing substantial will be done and the “clean power plan” will roll on.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

The household of faith should be the rudder, it should be the compass, it should be that one unshakeable presence that charts the course and follows through, and by its very nature be a living embodiment of what it means to be saved. Instead the church is what it is, its ambassadors are what they are, and all told it’s no wonder the godless are having a field day mocking and ridiculing and merrily pointing at our inconsistencies.
We have men in positions of power and authority discovered to have done such obscene things that the ‘no one is perfect’ cliché is no longer applicable. When individuals who identify themselves as ambassadors of the Kingdom and leaders of men are found to have been practicing sins much of those in the world don’t even practice, it’s time to call it what it is, and stop hiding under the ‘we’re all sinners’ mantra.
Paper says Border is wide open – A number of the USA’s problems are wholly manufactured; i.e., they are self-created. These are also the ones the Corporate Media promotes heaviest. So when they are fixed by a coming man, he will seem “awesome!”
And the truth is: they were fairly easy to fix all along. Our “wide open” southern border is one of these.
It’s easy to reach the grim conclusion that paper is dead, and will soon go the way of 8-track tapes and pay phones. Not so fast. Like the character in a Monty Python skit, paper is “not dead yet.” In fact, some industry niches are surprisingly robust.
STUDY: Just looking at nature can help your brain – Just any nature? What about those nature scenes where the crocodile drags a baby buffalo in the river and eats it? Will looking at that help my brain?
“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master. “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do. ALL political “news” is narrative.
