IF Not For the End Times, To What Does the Reader Attribute All of the Many Changes Taking Place in His Life?

The end times are a time of a great many GREAT changes.

As has been noted in these pages before.

The end times are a time of GREAT deception.

The end times are ALSO a time of GREAT change.

The reader can watch for both.

Some of these changes have already taken place: changes in the way one begins his day, changes at work, changes at home; changes in the way the reader has been conducting his life: changes in the way he buys goods or services; changes in the way he interacts with people he meets; changes in the methods he uses to pay for goods or services.

There will be a great many MORE changes which will be easy enough for the reader to see.

HOWEVER, those who are deceived–and do not have a love of the truth–will find themselves singing along to the same tune those in control are playing.

“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
–2THESSALONIANS 2:10-12

In other words, the reader will be able to SEE those changes occurring, he just will not particularly note them OR even think of them as “changes.”  Most likely, it will be easier for him to believe what he is told about WHY those changes are happening.

Some will insist that “it is beyond my pay grade” to concern themselves about any changes.

So they don’t.

So even if A GREAT MANY CHANGES in the way mankind conducts business is a sign of the last days, MOST will not care.

“There you go again with that last days junk. Don’t you ever get tired of that end times stuff?”

Some of these changes will be so great, they will cause man to change the way he has conducted business and other aspects of his life since the beginning of time.

Not that it matters to the many who are deceived.

However, IF the reader noted the changes occurring, he would probably–at some point–ask himself,

“IF NOT FOR THE END TIMES, THEN WHY ARE ALL OF THESE CHANGES TAKING PLACE?”

DOES the reader notice the great many changes taking place around him?
DOES he comfort himself that he has too much else to worry about to concern himself with such stuff?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

DOES the reader believe he is saved?

The end times are a time of GREAT deception.

As has been noted in these pages many times before.

Deception is SO GREAT during the last days, that Jesus Christ first warned of “deception” when asked about the signs of the end times.

“And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you”
–Mark 13:3-5

HOWEVER, it is one mark of deception that the deceived do NOT recognize that they are deceived.

And so, the deceived live amongst GREAT deception, but comfort themselves that the deception they cannot but help notice is only a “normal way of doing things” OR (more accurately), “the way of the world.”

Another mark of the deceived is that they usually make EXCUSES or provide reasons WHY someone lies to them.

“All politicians lie. It just the way they live.”

“The government has always lied to people ever since I’ve been around.”

“You can’t believe what you read.”

“It might be true that where there’s smoke, there’s fire, BUT you can’t believe a word of what most people say!”

BECAUSE it is the end times, deception will be EVEN greater than ever before.

In fact, the deception will be so great even the deceived will notice it–and then IGNORE it.

The deceived ignore deception (and when they are lied to) because it helps them live a more comfortable life.

“All of that worrying about who is lying and who is telling the truth: it’s enough to drive you crazy!”

But EVEN THE DECEIVED will notice that deception has become normal during the times in which we now live.

A great many do NOT trust what their “leaders” tell them.

A great many KNOW that business lies to them about how wonderful their products are.

A great many expect to be lied to even by those they know PERSONALLY.

Even a great many of the deceived know they are surrounded by lies–and more lies–and lies they have not figured out yet.

At some point, one would think that EVEN THE DECEIVED would ask themselves,

“IF NOT FOR THE END TIMES, THEN WHY ARE ALL OF THESE DECEPTIONS TAKING PLACE?”
DOES the reader expect most people to tell them the truth?
HAS the reader become MORE or LESS disappointed by his expectations for hearing the truth?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

Wickedness has become commonplace.

During the past five years, remarks have been made about aspects of everyday wickedness.

“People would rather lie than tell the truth.”

“You really have to watch the cashiers at So-and-So Store: they will rob you blind if you don’t.”

“I thought I could trust it.  I mean, the GOVERNMENT said it was okay.”

“People on the phone, they will say anything to get your money.”

Wickedness has just become another behavior which happens so often, it appears “normal.”

Like so much else in modern life, wickedness has become a CHOICE to be made.

There’s bad points to wickedness.

BUT, to those who are enmeshed in the world, there are also GOOD points to evil as well.

MAYBE the reader has not noticed any particularly evil behaviors affecting those he knows, those he associates with or those he come in contact with?

MAYBE the reader has not noticed any particularly wicked actions by those who supposedly are our leaders?

BUT MAYBE the reader HAS noticed.

Has the reader noticed the increasing bad behaviors, evil actions or just plain wickedness happening around him?

Has the reader merely brushed off this increasing coarseness as “the way the world works“?

Has the reader EXPECTED more wickedness and evil because “people just get worse” INSTEAD of asking himself WHY people just keep getting worse?

Does the reader see the evil and wickedness taking place and think to himself, “How can I work around this?”

“How can I make the best of this?”

Have evil, wicked things happened so often that the reader has ever asked himself,

“IF NOT FOR THE END TIMES, THEN WHY ARE ALL OF THIS WICKEDNESS NOW TAKING PLACE?”

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

DOES the reader believe he is saved?
