Will Americans Have a Hard Time Fitting In When the One-World Beast Government Makes Itself Known?

We're number one!

“…and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”
–Revelation 13:7

Recently, the question was asked about how much difficulty Americans would have “fitting in” to the one-world government system when it makes itself known.

By his tone (and his follow-up questions), the person posing the ORIGINAL question must have expected a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT answer than the one he received.

BEFORE an answer was even given, the following (or something VERY similar) was offered.

“Americans are USED to being the top dog: we EXPECT to be Number One! Always have, always will.”

“But you haven’t even HEARD my answer!”

“I’m just letting you know: Americans want to call the shots!  They EXPECT to be the lead dog.”

[It was at this point that all within hearing were informed that “The scenery only changes for the lead dog.” ]

“Americans don’t like to be bossed around!  They don’t like to be told what to do!”

“Well, if you’re looking for an argument: Americans are told what to do EVERY DAY.  Most seem to actually enjoy being told what to do.

“But you won’t get an argument from me about Americans wanting to call the shots: they will probably be calling MOST of the shots where the military is concerned since America supplies most of the military muscle for the one-world government.

“But as far as your original question goes: Americans will likely “fit right in” when the one-world bunch starts running things.”

“How’d you figure?”

“Well, a LOT of people like to be associated with something that’s successful and is way bigger than they are.  That’s why so many identify with various football teams or colleges or universities or pro wrestlers: EVERYONE likes to chant “We’re number one!”  And NOTHING will be bigger than Satan’s end times one-world government.  Americans will jump right on that bandwagon!  Maybe they’ll even sell athletic jackets and shirts with “Team Dragon” on them?”

“…and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”

“NO ONE on earth is stronger than Satan’s beastly bunch during the last days.  Americans will not have a problem wanting to be part of that!  OF COURSE, that all changes after 42 months when Jesus returns and settles Satan’s hash! (and all of those deceived enough to follow the father of lies.)”

“So NO, most Americans will feel right at home in Satan’s worldwide kingdom.”

And then the discussion moved on to other topics which cannot be remembered–and even if they were, they would probably not interest the reader in the least.

DOES the reader like to be part of a winning organization?

DOES the reader believe that most others around him also like being part of a winner?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

DOES the reader believe he is saved?

Is God’s Hand Shortened During the End Times?

“Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver?”
–Isaiah 50:2

In God’s Word, there is more than one occasion when the LORD asks if His hand has grown short. 

In other words, God was asking if He lacked the power to do what He had earlier declared He would do.

One of those times occurred in Numbers, when the LORD was talking to Moses.

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD’S hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.”
–Numbers 11:23

When God asks such a question, He usually provides an an immediate answer. Therefore, God’s question is RHETORICAL, in nature.

HOWEVER, a great many–during the times in which we now live–believe that God is a FICTION; a FIGMENT of an over-active imagination.  Because a great many have NO experiences with God, they believe what they are told: that God does NOT exist; that God was an invention of PRIMITIVE man, useful for primitive times,

BUT not so useful for present times when man has grown so much more clever and so much more intelligent; when man has SO MUCH MORE information at his fingertips.

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”

–Daniel 12:4

One reason for the end times is to reteach the hard lesson that the Creator lives–and will govern His Creation as He see fit.

And NOT as His Creation wishes it to be.

In other words: a great many believe that God–if He even exists at all–NOW has shortened hands.

God has stated more than once–in His Word–that His Word will accomplish what He stated it will accomplish.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
–Isaiah 55: 8-11

“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:…yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

To the many bound with Satan’s invisible chains of deception, the words of the Bible are just that: so many words.

Blah, blah, blah.

Yada, yada, yada.

Hogwash, hokum and hooey.

One BIG reason for the end times is to demonstrate TO MAN who is the boss.

And, it is NOT man.

It is NOT Satan.

It is NOT familiar spirits.

Along the way, a great many–after they have uttered what will, no doubt, be the most popular reaction to the events of the last days (“It IS all real!”)–will finally understand that God’s hand has NOT grown shorter during this time.

“Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” 
–Isaiah 59:1-2

DOES the reader believe that God was something thought up by primitive man who nothing else better to do?

HAS the reader’s life changed, IN ANY WAY, for the better or for the worse?

‘I Don’t Think It Works the Way You Think It Works’

ONE DAY, we shall know all.

But that day is NOT today.

And so, man stumbles around in his world, trapped, not only by the world’s many deceptions, but by man’s willingness to BELIEVE–while clinging to those superstitions–because man learned many of those deceptions at an early age from some authority figure.

But on that day when we will know all, we will KNOW that the number of deceptions believed and followed because the public was SURE those deceptions were the TRUTH will be MORE than the average person would now suspect.

“It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble.  It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.”

This leads to one of the most popular utterances around these parts.

“I don’t think it (whatever it happens to be at the moment) works the way you think it works.”

It matters little whether the topic of that observation is a microwave oven, a balky computer, faulty electrical matters, a popular medical procedure or device OR the latest story about some great societal change which has taken place, is going to take place or is going to take place in the near future.

“I don’t think it works the way you think it works.”

No doubt the reader may have already stumbled over some aspect of his everyday life which has caused him to mumble this–or some very similar–phrase.

Many already HAVE–and have taken note.

Many others HAVE–and provide a little comfort to themselves by insisting, “There has to be a perfectly good explanation.”

Many of this second group let the unexplained inconsistencies slide into that great pile of folders one keeps in one’s head marked “UNEXPLAINED.”

IF THE READER HAS NOT TAKEN NOTE: then he needs to increase his awareness of those things which go on around him.

IF one does not believe we live in the end times, the many inconsistencies between the stories one is told and what one sees with one’s own eyes will likely torment and afflict that person.

HOWEVER,

The perfect cure for this particular modern affliction is the same one Jesus advised almost 2000 years ago.

“And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”

HAS the reader noticed that what he is being told is NOT true?

DOES finding out the the reader is being LIED TO affect what he does in any way?

Will Modern Love Survive the End Times?

Modern Love which Isn't

There have been more than one piece written in these pages about the various aspects of that affliction we call “modern love.”

Which led to some recent thoughts about whether the modern version of LOVE ( which we hear so much about it in pop songs, TV shows and movies) will survive the calamities and chaos of the end times.

Which led to passing some of those thoughts along to readers.

1- As has been mentioned MORE THAN ONCE in these pages, the MODERN version of love is quite DIFFERENT than what is traditionally thought of as LOVE.

“Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”
–1Corinthians 13:4-8,13

Referring to 1Corinthians Chapter 13, Family Bible Notes explains: “Charity; love to God and to men.”

So when the apostle Paul refers to “charity,” he is referring to what many moderns refer to as “love.”

HOWEVER, the love described by Paul in 1st Corinthians verses 4-8 bears little resemblance to the emotion moderns describe as “love.”

2- MODERN LOVE is all about the person who is “in love”: THEIR feelings, THEIR disappointments, THEIR let-downs, THEIR plans and, most of all, how the other person is affecting THEIR life–usually in a NEGATIVE way.

LOVE, as set forth in God’s Word, is all about the OTHER PERSON.

“Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. LOVE, as set forth in God’s Word–as opposed to pop culture–DOES NOT KEEP SCORE.

3- It should be pointed out that ‘jealousy’ is NOT love or (in ANY form) a part of love. It is a type of fear: a fear of losing what one person considered to be their property, their possession.

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”
–1JOHN 4:18

As a sort of example, we offer the claims one young lady once insisted were correct.

“My boyfriend LOVES his new truck.

“Let me tell you, my boyfriend loves his new truck MORE than he loves his mama.

“And he’s told me (more than once) that he ‘loves me like he loves that truck.'”

But after it was pointed out that

1- Her boyfriend OWNS his new truck–and has the papers to prove it. Does he also OWN his very insistent girlfriend?

2- If her boyfriend ever wrecked his new truck, he would just buy a new one. He would get over it: he would just replace the banged-up one with another one; a newer, more shiny model. Is this the kind of relationship you are in?

The girl then (after some initial protests) grew thoughtful–and quiet.

JEALOUSY is NOT love.

It is a display of fear: a fear of losing what one considers to be their PROPERTY.

4- REGARDLESS of what many well-promoted pop singers would have the reader believe: LOVE is NOT about suffering.

LOVE is about happiness, mostly coming from a devotion to another.

LOVE overcomes suffering: LOVE does NOT cause suffering.

5- REGARDLESS of what many well-promoted pop singers would have the reader believe: LOVE is NOT when one person is ‘in love’ with someone who exhibits little interest in them.

IF the other person does not demonstrate the SAME level of intensity of feeling that the person who is ‘in love’ demonstrates, then the person who insists they are ‘in love’ is likely feeling SOMETHING: obsession, compulsion, possessiveness, second thoughts–SOMETHING, but NOT love.

6- Modern love usually involves a LOT of planning.

This planning takes the place of what those who are REALLY in love do.

During all of the ‘plans,’ it becomes clear that NOTHING is more important than the plans.

NOT the other person’s ideas.

NOT the other person’s thoughts.

NOT the other person’s feelings.

What IS important is ‘the plans’ “they” are making for their future.

7- The end times will be a time which tests that which most call “LOVE.“

A GREAT MANY who believe they are “in love” will find that they do NOT have what they thought they had.

Some will discover that they are involved in a sort of business relationship–rather than LOVE.

Others will learn that they are involved, NOT in love, but in something else; perhaps a pleasing social arrangement OR a sort of two-person discussion club OR a mutual admiration/mutual support group OR a public art project which others admire and compliment.

NOW, none of those things are not necessarily bad–BUT, they are NOT LOVE.

And HOW will such details be discovered about MODERN LOVE in the end times?

In the same way that people have almost always come by this hard information: one person will notice that the other is VERY concerned about their OWN well-being–and NOT very concerned at all about their partner’s.

And so, while the traditional version of LOVE will, not only survive, but will THRIVE in the chaos and calamities of the end times.

The modern, plastic version of LOVE–which is the version promoted so ceaselessly by pop culture and entertainment–won’t fare so well.

IN FACT, the end times will be a sort of proving ground for LOVE.

Those lucky enough to be involved in TRUE, traditional LOVE, will come through the end times knowing EXACTLY what they have.

While those who are involved in MODERN LOVE will come through the end times knowing what they have, as well.

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

IS the reader ‘in love’?

WHAT makes the reader so sure of this ‘love’?
