The very same things that the New Age and occult have been talking about for years (rising from the ashes of the dying OLD era of Christianity into the birth of a glorious NEW era of “peace, brotherhood and unity (through conformity),” Rob Bell is also pushing!

What a coincidence!

When you hear the phrase “paradigm shift” (or as Joel Osteen refers to it, “the Shift” [VIDEO: Joel Osteen: A Shift is coming]), much of the time, this utopian new age is what is being referred to.  We also hear this phrase being used in the Science Fiction Church of the Modern American Prophecy Industry.

Bell is a superstar in the Emergent Church movement–to help sell his book, he compared God to that old beat-up Oldsmobile that he used to own: it’s had it’s day but it’s time to retire God as we have known Him. [VIDEO here.]

The strands of the coming one-world religion have always included the New Age and the occult, but over the last 30 years they have actively included many groups masquerading as Christianity.  The Emergent Church is one of these.

Yet, many Christians remain ignorant about these groups.  How many Christians are comfortable with speaking the New Age language in their churches, offering worship with antichrist imagery, supporting ANYTHING that purports to be “Christian?”  Not only do many Christians remain ignorant, an increasing number wish for others to remain uninformed as well.

One clue why so many would have it that way.
