Chaos and Confusion: End Times Weapons of God

every man's hand against his brother

When considering CHAOS and CONFUSION as end times tools to be used, one USUALLY thinks of those two belong to the world OR Satan.

And, while the world and the devil certainly uses CHAOS and CONFUSION to herd end times man into his designated spots for the BIG FINALE, God’s Word records that God is NO stranger when it comes to using those two particular utensils.

IN FACT, it is recorded that the armies of God’s enemies will ATTACK EACH OTHER in their deluded attempt at wresting control of the earth from its Creator.

“And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.”
–Ezekiel 38:21

(Lest he express surprise that Ezekiel 38:21 refers to the events at Armageddon, the reader should know that Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 are referring to the return of Jesus Christ and associated events. Gog-Magog is NOT a separate military campaign, as taught by FALSE TEACHERS.

MORE: GOG-MAGOG is Armageddon )

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.”
Zechariah 14:13

Lest the reader believe that this is something new, God has MUCH experience at causing CONFUSION and CHAOS in his enemies.  So much so, that these enemies of God ATTACK ONE ANOTHER.

“And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon. And they stood every man in his place round about the camp: and all the host ran, and cried, and fled. And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man’s sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath.”
–Judges 7:20-22

“And it came to pass, while Saul talked unto the priest, that the noise that was in the host of the Philistines went on and increased: and Saul said unto the priest, Withdraw thine hand. And Saul and all the people that were with him assembled themselves, and they came to the battle: and, behold, every man’s sword was against his fellow, and there was a very great discomfiture.”
–1SAMUEL 14:19-20

“And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.”
–Isaiah 19:2

So, while chaos and confusion (and the resulting FEAR) CAN BE used by the enemies of God to achieve their nefarious ends; chaos, confusion and fear are the ORIGINAL tools of God Almighty–and will be utilized by Him during the end times.

(And for all who point to 1CORINTHIANS 14:33 to argue AGAINST this, what EXACTLY does 1CORINTHIANS 14:33 say?

“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”

IF God were somehow fighting in the churches of the saints, He likely would not use confusion as a weapon.

BUT, since God is battling the wicked [and NOT the ‘churches of the saints’], He most definitely will use ALL of His weapons which prove necessary.

And who better to use CHAOS, CONFUSION and FEAR than He who created them?)

The world and Satan certainly do use chaos and confusion and fear during the last days.

However, CHAOS and CONFUSION (and FEAR) are some of God’s most powerful weapons.

DOES the reader associate God with chaos and confusion?

DOES the reader believe that Satan is the master of confusion?

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

The Six Corporations that Own (Almost) ALL Media

This information is NOT new: ETPR published an earlier version about five or six years ago.

HOWEVER, this information appears to be up-to-date.

IF the piece was a bit more truthful, it would have been titled, “The Ministry of Truth owns ALL media worth owning.”

[The image seems to be giving the re-sizing tools at WORDPRESS a bit of a problem.  Hopefully, this will be fixed shortly. IF it is unable to be fixed, the image will be removed and the information updated manually.]

DOES the reader find it odd that so much of what we read and see is controlled by so few?

WOULD the reader find it even more odd if he knew that there are less than six corporations which control what he sees, hears and reads?

Reliable Information About the Last Days: Where? – Part Two

information

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
–2Timothy 2:15

IF the reader is serious about insight into events which have not yet taken place, he should STUDY God’s Word, not just READ it.

In Part One, the Book of Revelation–perhaps the best source of what is soon to happen–was covered.

In Part Two, other good sources of such info will be focused upon.

2- BOOK OF DANIEL

The Book of Daniel–particularly Chapters 2 and 7-12 contain MANY prophecies relating to events in the last days before Jesus Christ returns to earth.

It is fairly clear that the prophecies God gave to Daniel were not fully understood by the prophet.  It is suspected that Daniel would be more able to make sense of that information were he alive in 2021.

The Book of Daniel was usually popular with the apostate teachers because the Book of Daniel was SEALED (not able to be YET understood according to God’s timetable).

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
–Daniel 12:4

(Daniel is also the source of the apostate myth of the Seventieth Week of Daniel, an invented story about which the Bible is COMPLETELY and UTTERLY silent. Because Daniel was a SEALED book for centuries, few understood that, largely because of this, it was’open season’ on Daniel.)

Many who study God’s Word believe Daniel to be the best OLD TESTAMENT book on prophecy.

3- MATTHEW (Chapter 24), with parallel accounts in MARK(13), LUKE (21) and LUKE 17:20-37)

These accounts focus on Jesus’ last night of freedom in Jerusalem and His prophecies when His disciples asked Him what was to take place.

“And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,  Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you”
–Mark 13:3-5

These chapters are like a condensed version of the data found in the Book of Revelation.

IF the reader doesn’t wish to spend a lot of time searching and wishes a quick course in the events which are to shortly take place, these chapters can serve as the centerpiece for such information.

4- BOOK OF ISAIAH

There is so many prophecies in the Book of Isaiah, we’ve included the entire book.
Best Prophetic Bible Chapters on the End Times

Occasionally, the information given in Isaiah may seem to be ‘throwaway‘ because of 1) Isaiah’s not making much comment about his information; and, 2) how quickly the prophet moves on from these glimpses into the future.

At other times, the Book of Isaiah devotes long stretches to this info.

“Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.  Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.”
—Isaiah 63:1-4

Isaiah is also the Book which probably has the most clear prophecies of Jesus Christ, the suffering servant.

IF the reader decides to devote study time to the Book of Isaiah, he should make sure he has PLENTY of time to devote.

In the Book of Isaiah, end times prophecy is LIBERALLY sprinkled throughout the 66 chapters of the Book.

5- THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL (particularly Chapters 38-39)

The Book of Ezekiel gives another view of the Battle of Armageddon in Chapters 38-39.

Although false teachers have had a field day turning these two Chapters of Ezekiel into an entirely different conflict, it is WITHOUT A DOUBT a view of the battle of Armageddon.

6- OTHER GOOD SOURCES OF END TIMES INFORMATION

These may, at some future point, be expounded upon.

At any rate, they ALL contain much reliable information about what is to take place in the future.

  1. Book of Joel 1-3
  2. Book of Zechariah 1-14
  3. Book of Zephaniah 1-3
  4. Book of Jeremiah, chapters 50-51
  5. 2Thessalonians 2

IS the reader interested (if only just a little bit) in what is to take place in the time before Jesus returns to earth?

HAS the reader searched for information about the last days from UNRELIABLE sources?

IF the reader has explored UNRELIABLE (other than what is declared in God’s Word) sources of information, he should KNOW that this info is HIGHLY suspect and UNRELIABLE.

It is not YET too late: there is still a little time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

Reliable Information About the Last Days: Where? – Part One

information

About 63 months (5.25 years) ago, a piece was published at ETPR titled, Best Prophetic Bible Chapters on the End Times.

We very recently decided to UPDATE that piece, as well as ADD some additional information.  This information should prove EXTREMELY helpful  to ANY who are looking for information about the last days before the return of Jesus Christ.

Instead of limiting the topic to one chapter of a Book from God’s Word, it was decided to broaden the scope of this piece and include WHOLE BOOKS–wherever applicable–from the Bible. ALSO, instead of merely LISTING those chapters judged to be prophetic, it was decided to go a bit deeper, information-wise.

And so, we start off this 2021 version by discussing THE BOOK OF REVELATION.

1- THE BOOK OF REVELATION

The Book of Revelation is more properly called THE BOOK OF THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST–as explained in the Book’s first two verses.

“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.”
–Revelation 1:1-2

Revelation 1:3 promises a blessing to all those who, not only READ, but KEEP, the words of Revelation’s prophecy.

“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”
–Revelation 1:3

Revelation is thus the only book in God’s Word to promise such a blessing to those who read and keep it. Revelation offers NOT ONLY ONE, BUT TWO such blessings.

“Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”
–Revelation 22:7

Those who control the pulpits of he tares who inhabit the churches insist that Revelation contains such mysteries and highly-symbolic language, that NO ONE is intended to understand the Book of Revelation.

But this is NOT true: the book itself is UNSEALED [meaning it IS to be read and understood by those reading the book].

“And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.”
–Revelation 22:10

(The reader may contrast the Book of Revelation–which is UNSEALED–with the Book of Daniel’s (another prophetic book in the Bible) which is (or was) SEALED–until right before Jesus Christ returns.

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
–Daniel 12:4

IF the reader is interested in learning the many varied and HIGHLY DETAILED prophecies in the BOOK OF REVELATION, each of the chapters of the book deal with a particular theme.

Chapter 2 & 3 – An account of what Jesus Christ had to say to each of the seven churches in Asia Minor. These churches mirror modern churches (and their problems).

Chapter 4-7 – An account of John’s spiritual transport to heaven and the opening by Jesus of the Seven Seals.

Chapter 8-11 – The seven trumpet judgments against the earth; the account of the Two Witnesses in Jerusalem.

Chapter 12-14 – Various end times events described in detail for the reader. Included is Chapter 13, a HIGHLY DESCRIPTIVE account of events leading to the return of Jesus Christ.

Chapter 15 & 16 – The Seven Bowls (Vials) of God’s Wrath being poured out on a world which largely REJECTS God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Chapter 17 – The Whore of Babylon (an end times nation not otherwise described), the actions of the Whore and the Whore’s judgment.

Chapter 18- The judgment of Babylon itself.

Chapter 19 – The return of Jesus Christ and Armageddon.

Chapter 20 – Jesus’ 1000-year reign described.

Chapter 21 – A New Heaven, a New Earth and A New Jerusalem.

Chapter 22- Conclusion of the chapter.  Some sports fans might describe Chapter 22 as the “Post-game wrap-up.”

The Book of Revelation is placed FIRST here because IF the reader has ONLY one Biblical Book to study (and from which to gather information about the last days), he could do no worse than study the Book of Revelation.

The Book of Revelation is also placed FIRST because it is the ONLY book in God’s Word which was primarily authored by Jesus Christ (as given to His apostle, John).

The other choices for the reader to locate reliable information for the last days will be presented in Part Two of this study.

HAS the reader looked for information about the last days from UNRELIABLE sources?

IF the reader has explored UNRELIABLE (other than what is declared in God’s Word) sources of information, he should KNOW that this info is HIGHLY suspect and UNRELIABLE.

It is not YET too late: there is still a little time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
