The New Breed: Identifying the false prophets’ promises – Succinct coverage of the “New Breed” and their turning of Christian eschatology and the Second Coming into a man-centered experience as opposed to a Jesus-centered one  (as per the Bible.)   [Emphasis in the original linked article.]

The new breed of which Cain speaks about is found in hundreds of thousands of believers manifesting signs and wonders that will do greater works than at any other time in history, greater works than those of the apostles. This generation born would be a great End-Time supernatural Army that God would raise up to move in the “Prophetic”. Called by various names- Joel’s Army”, “New Breed”, “Elijah Company”, “Manchild” or “Overcomers” they will conquer opposition to the gospel and subdue the nations before Jesus would come.

The Manifest Sons of God interpretation of Rom.8 is that a certain group of overcomers will attain immortalization after coming to perfection under the authority of the latter-day apostles and prophets teachings (of which he is one). They will be able to move in and out of the supernatural and natural realms, even have the ability to walk through walls.

Sound strange?  These are some of the fastest-growing segments of Christianity–especially in America; especially among youth.  These teachings have creeped into almost every church in the USA: in the music, in the language, in the exhortations.  It’s been on Christian TV, in the music and is sprinkled throughout much of Christian mass media.

It not about the Bible.  It’s all about power; about separating the body of Christ into those who are uber-spiritual and those who are not.  And like the New Age, Luciferians and One World New World Order guys, the New Breed talk of a “cleansing.”

For those not familiar with the language: that’s a ‘purging’ of anyone who doesn’t agree with their unbiblical New Breed agenda.   They will use POWER! to cleanse the earth.  Power is always an attractive bait–and the New Breed/Manifest Sons of God/whatever is not adverse to using it.

Jesus never spoke of an end time army of prophets that will do signs and wonders, he warned against this.

Paul Cain: “No prophet or apostle ever lived equal the power of these individuals in this great army of the Lord in these last days. No one ever had it, not even Elijah, or Peter, or Paul or anyone else enjoyed the power that’s going to rest upon, uh, this, uh, great Army.

How can one tell if the New Breed is in your area?  One good way: they are always declaring that they will raise up a new breed, an army, prophets, whatever.  It’s all about the power: the power of signs and wonders and the power of an army.

Bentley finished Paul Cain’s stay on the platform by saying to Paul Cain and his audience “We honor a great prophet of the Lord, may God anoint every new breed that’s out there tonight anoint them (repeats anoint them about 10 times) … raise up a new breed, raise up a healing army oh god, you said this day was coming a Joel’s army being released. Power!  Signs!  Wonders!  Power!

Those occupying the pews of Christian churches will make–or have already made–a choice.  They can be unified in the one body of Christ.  Or, they can chase after doctrines of spiritual elitism (which is basically gnosticism by  another name.  Gnostics always practice spiritual elitism.  It’s the nature of the beast, so to speak.).

“There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism,  One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

The only antidote to the New Breed is the Word of God.  But we’re long past that; with all of the false teachings, how many have their own interpretations that serve as “comfort food for the soul” when they’re feeling scared and powerless?

There is peace to be had: the peace that passeth all understanding.  But that leads back to the Bible (and ultimately to Jesus)–and what the Bible says about the last days is not nearly as ear-tickling as what the false ones are pushing.

Take heed.  It’s in the language, in the exhortations, in the music. It’s all about what man will do.

It starts as a little–but explosive–leaven and it’s all about preparing people.

But for what and for whom?

Dominionism and the Rise of Christian Imperialism

For the past several decades the political Left has focused attention on the Christian Right’s political activism in America. Particularly, the Left has been highly critical of a select group of dominionists called Reconstructionists, whose aggressive verbiage, extreme Calvinist theologies, and religious political agendas have made it an ideal target for outrage. But, as Leftist researcher Sara Diamond has astutely observed, “the Reconstructionists’ religion of Calvinism. . . makes them unlikely to appeal to most evangelicals.”⁴ Indeed, few Reconstructionists would consider themselves to be evangelicals. Nevertheless, their influence has been considerable over the much larger group of patriotic evangelicals.

…and it is through this group of “patriotic evangelicals” that the doctrines and language of Dominionism has seeped into American churches.  Dominionism–and its pop culture forerunners of The Moral Majority, social conservatives, etc.–would benefit greatly by the general ignorance of John 18:36.

A Thought – One has a hope that at least a few of the false teachers might, at some point, renounce their idols (not all are “pay to play” TV preachers), repent, and come back to the Jesus of the Bible.  Some, if not most, of the false teachers likely started out with the best of intentions.  Sin and error usually work by a matter of degrees.  A thousand daily compromises and where are we at in six months to a year?  Here a little, there a little, false precept upon false precept, error upon error…

It’s written God used a donkey.  Might He, at some point, use even one of today’s false teachers? Perhaps some might dedicate some prayers to that possibility?
