Even the lost and worldly know that something is different. Many are not sure what it is which isn’t right, but they don’t like the looks of the place where events seem to be heading.
Believers know that no man knows the day or the hour, but believers are to know the season.
“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.”
–1 Thessalonians 5:2-4
There’s been a lot written about the end times. Actually, there’s been a lot of deception peddled about the end times.
What are some of the events that actually will take place?
Chaos
World war
More chaos
Famine, pestilence, death
Billions die worldwide
worldwide apostasy
lying signs and wonders
Deception, deception, deception
Absolute lawlessness masquerading as peace and brotherhood.
The completion of the perversion that has gripped the visible Church
The coming of the man of sin, the false messiah
The worship of the dragon
Worldwide persecution of the saints or the remnant church
The return of Jesus Christ to set up his kingdom after disposing of the imposter and his crew.
This list isn’t speculation. Those are events prophesied in the Bible.
“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”
–2 Timothy 3:13
As the time nears, the sources of deception reveal themselves by their continued deceptions. Even the most clever of the children of disobedience reveal themselves by their resistance to God’s Word.
Like so much else, American Christians have out-sourced their Bible study to others. This has led to the unfortunate situation of many not knowing what is in their Bibles. Many DO know what they’ve been told is in their Bibles.
Many in the American Church are expecting worldwide revival and signs and wonders. The Bible says they will see worldwide apostasy (which the ungodly won’t be able to distinguish from revival) and lying signs and wonders.
Because most of those who inhabit the churches are deceived and bereft of both the Holy Spirit and discernment, they will cling to what they have been told: they will be further deceived by the apostasy in the Church and the lying signs and wonders.
Deception flourishes. Time is running out.
Have you made your calling and election sure?
Have you separated from the things of this world?
Are you walking in obedience to the Father?
Are you spending your time preparing: in prayer and in God’s Word?
Once again: Have you made your calling and election sure?

MEMORIAL DAY
And OPINION
===INTERNATIONAL
AFGHANISTAN: Karzai refused to meet with Obama – The press–which is supposedly rabidly pro-Obama–provides more evidence to the public that he is President MomJeans. Those who condemn the press for its unfailing “pro-liberal slant” never explain such articles–which are damning to their thesis.
“In these last days seems the world is going farther and farther south. It becomes more and more difficult to find truth in this saturated market of televangelists, churches on every corner, and everyone is a Christian, but our society grows ever so wicked.”
—About Living in the Last Hour
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
-–1 Corinthians 15:1-4 – (h/t:B)
The state uses education as an tool of indoctrination–and it could be argued that the American system of indoctrination has been the most widely successful in the history of such undertakings.
Not the least is because in the American system, the indoctrination leaves the indoctrinated with the not only the belief that they are free from all such influences, but that the indoctrinated is living in a state of perfect liberty.
The most effective counter to all such propaganda has traditionally been the family.
To counter the influence the family has on a child, the state has turned to lowering the age of compulsory education. Target: the state’s ideal age is two-years-old. There are other areas of culture (there’s that word again!) which aid and abet the state’s war on parents. The Corporate Media, rather than an adversary of the state, is an arm of the state. By combining the powers of the state, the media, entertainment and education, the true Christian family is at a decided disadvantage.
To balance this unfair equation, the Christian family has prayer (which the state doesn’t understand and discounts).
But Christian prayer is more than enough to balance this unequal situation.
IF it is used.
However, many do not pray and are overwhelmed by the power of public education–which helps explain the current state of things,
Research shows Yellowstone volcano less of a menace – So, should we believe the Corporate Media now when they’re telling us Yellowstone is no big deal? Or, should we believe the Corporate Media over the last several years when they were insisting that Yellowstone had the power to wipe out half of the USA?
Underground bunkers: There’s something about Doomsday Apocalyptic scenarios which make people think of burrowing underground. When an acquaintance a few years ago began discussing some of the unsettling world events which were just beginning to take place, the first thing he said was “Underground bunker: I’ve got to build one!”
Will such constructions protect one from what is to come upon the earth? Will pouring a lot of cash into an underground bunker prevent the events described in the Bible from taking one away? What does the Bible say?
Not unsurprisingly, the Bible tells of men running into the mountains to hide themselves when the “wrath of the Lamb” is unveiled.
“And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?“
—Revelation 6:15-17
So no: it does not appear that a bunker will help the wicked thwart the will of God.
Though one supposes that won’t stop some from trying. Just as it won’t stop companies from promising the moon when trying to sell a deluxe piece of real estate under the surface of the earth: their underground bunker.
IS AMERICA IN THE BIBLE? Are we living in the End Times? Does Bible prophecy mention America? When, where and how? Many people have questions about where America fits in during the End Times. We’ve gathered 35+ articles from End Times Prophecy Report on what Bible prophecy reveals about America–and life in general–during the End Times.

Rick Perry returns to Iowa; shows interest in 2016 run – Perry has his very own network of apostles and prophets! They should be able to tell him if he will have success in 2016 or not, right? Maybe that’s the reason he’s back for round #2?
Baghdad Battery -250 BC – The history we are taught is not the same as what actually happened in many cases. Most who study history easily come to that conclusion. Mythbusters did an episode on this artifact. The hosts of Mythbusters came to their usual whitewashing, myth-enforcing conclusions–which were, as usual, contrary to objective science and history.
The linked article is from Smith College, which did a better job of testing the Baghdad Battery than the History Channel did. The only thing one could learn from watching Mythbusters is how to cover up any inconvenient information from the past that happens to surface. This is the suspected reason for the show and others like it.
“Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods.”
—Jeremiah 16:20 – (h/t:B)
Kafka and the guillotine – Apparently, now is the time for the Corporate Media to break it to Americans that the guillotine will be making a comeback–just in time for one world government, the two beast systems and the whore of Babylon Church!
“…and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”
—Revelation 20:4
Labyrinths of Emerging Paganism – More on the subject. About six months ago, this writer included links to a series of articles written in 1989 about the introduction of prayer circles into the Christian churches. This was not referring to the circles of witchcraft written about in that deceptive pseudo-Christian book, The Circle Maker. This referred to the practice of standing in a circle, holding hands and praying.
At the time, this was a new ritual in the Christian church. The articles explored the occult/pagan origins of prayer circles and where they would go from there. It was uncanny how accurate the article (written 25 years ago) was about our present time. It offended a few people who do pray in circles, but when asked to give one example of praying in a circle in the Bible, they could not.
This is a good example of sanctification by participation. Some Christians believe that if they are engaged in a practice or ritual, no matter how occult, ungodly or pagan, then it must be okay. By their very participation in the ritual, they themselves have sanctified the practice.
It was with good reason we were warned of pride and arrogance in the Church in the last days.
“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
—2 Timothy 3:2-5
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
-–1 Corinthians 15:1-4 – (h/t:B)
You have to wonder what Jesus they’re talking about. Even a cursory reading of the Bible would show them that the church is His bride (temporal flaws and all) who will be taken to heaven when He returns for her. Additionally, there are popular movements, trends, and books that feature isolated characteristics of Jesus and doctrines of the Word that distort a correct biblical view. These include books such as Rob Bell’s bestseller Love Wins and Brennan Manning’s The Ragamuffin Gospel , both of which take the doctrine of love far beyond the teaching of Scripture—the former in the heresy of universalism, the latter implying that God, in His love, simply winks at our sins.
Hebrew Roots preacher Mark Blitz, – The man behind the Four Blood Moons teaching picked up by false teacher John Hagee, has a similar outlook as Hagee when it comes to sharing the gospel to Jews. Which is to say: he doesn’t.
“My goal is not to convert Jews to Christianity but to bring non-Jews to a better understanding of YHVH through a better understanding of Torah. I think most Christians do not know YHVH as He really is but know Him as they have tried to create Him in their image rather than understanding they were created in His image. Many Christians believe they have a relationship with YHVH but they don’t.”
Which brings up the question: can a person be a Christian who denies the most basic tenets of the faith?
“Rape and Incest exceptions tolerant” National Right to “Life” [sic] disaffiliates “Anti Rape and Incest exceptions”, Pro-Personhood Georgia Right to Life in favor of “Rape and Incest exceptions tolerant” Georgia Life Alliance
Georgia Life Alliance is described as a “new group” who is tolerant of regulating abortion instead of abolishing the practice. “National Right to Life was formed in 1968 under the auspices of the National Conference of [Roman] Catholic Bishops.” NRLC has been adamantly opposed to passing personhood legislation in states.
After 46 years, NRLC has been an abject failure in every single undertaking–except raising money.
In 2007, Colorado Right to Life was kicked out.
“We will tell the truth that National Right To Life doesn’t want told,” said Brian Rohrbough, president of Colorado Right To Life, “that NRTL advocates a strategy of child-killing regulations that undermine personhood and distract from the real battle.”
And Leslie Hanks, V.P. of Colorado Right To Life added, “As a fundraiser, partial-birth abortion has brought in hundreds of millions of dollars, but as a way to save lives, it has no authority to save a single child.” Discussions of new affiliation are underway between CRTL and another principled pro-life organization fighting for the personhood of the pre-born.
So, if one really stands for life, then the National Right to Life will jettison you. If, however, one raises a lot of money and goes along with the appearance of doing good, then you’ll fit right in.
Young Blood – Any time the world of science wants to conduct creepy human experiments, they trot out their two most popular lies: the experiments will probably lead to a cure for Parkinson’s and it probably will cure Altzheimer’s.
A very large part of Christendom in the United States is enamored with those who claim to speak for God. If you think that’s an overstatement, simply tune into some of the programing on Trinity Broadcasting Network or some of the other cable religious networks. What you will see are churches filled with thousands of Christians hanging on to every word of a man or a woman who is declaring what God has just revealed to him or her. The content ranges from the mundane to the bizarre. To some observers who are fairly well versed in the Scriptures, what they are hearing and seeing is laughable. But that’s a tragic reaction by some who are forgetting that many of those being led astray by the so-called new prophets and apostles are their brothers and sisters in Christ.
Asteroid buzzes earth, another near-miss – Ever wonder why the planet has had so many near-misses lately with asteroids and other hunks of space? There’s been more near-misses written about in the Corporate Media over the last five years than in the previous fifty.
1 John 4:1 – Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world
“The Mark of God” video is an attempt to demonstrate how Christians who love Jesus will receive a mark on their forehead or right hand, supposedly to protect them and keep them safe. This logic is unbiblical and, as a Christian, is unsettling to watch.
The two people who broadcast this video also broadcast numerous other videos on their YouTube channels that deal with prophetic events and “biblical” happenings. Some of their other videos are entitled “Interview with Jesus”, “Is the Antichrist Gay? “We asked Jesus Christ and this is his answer”, “Prayer to Jesus Christ. Pray this every day to be in the Book of Life!”
In their video they say that without this mark you will not be able to buy or sell and by getting this mark you are becoming part of the top elite class protected by God.
Revelation 13:17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Revelation 14:9-11And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
I believe the Bible is pretty cut and dry on this subject. Revelation can be a tricky book to navigate through, but there is no mistaking the fact that the wrath of God will be poured out on those who receive this mark of the beast. It is not at all a mark of God or seal of God.
The symbol they have chosen to represent the mark of God bears a striking resemblance to a hazardous sign. That’s just food for thought.
Throughout their video they throw the phrase around in different ways implying that “Maybe you will be chosen to be God’s loved one and protected one”. They imply that the only way to receive that promise is through this mark.
My God is a faithful God, who has chosen me and has given grace to all who will believe and accept Him. He doesn’t require a mark to be his child, he requires a life fully dedicated to serving Him and following after his commandments and his will.
According to LieKillers and ChristianAuthority, when you accept the mark, you are agreeing to world peace and safety, and equality and justice. They believe this is only possible to achieve through one world religion, one nationality, one King, one world government, all of these accomplishing a new world order.
Matthew 10:34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
World peace is a purely humanistic façade. There will not be a heaven on Earth before the Lord’s return. We must discern what is being taught and seek God’s wisdom through everything.
“But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.”
—Matthew 13:20-21
“And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.”
—Matthew 24:10
“There are people in other religions who are being led by God’s secret influence to concentrate on those parts of their religion which are in agreement with Christianity, and who thus belong to Christ without knowing it. For example a Buddhist of good will may be led to concentrate more and more on the Buddhist teaching about mercy and to leave in the background (though he might still say he believed) the Buddhist teaching on certain points. Many of the good Pagans long before Christ’s birth may have been in this position.” (Mere Christianity pg.176, 177).
