Hated of All Men: End Times Christians

Hating the world, hating the gospel of Jesus Christ

“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”
–Matthew 10:22

Matthew, Mark and Luke’s gospels ALL refer to this quote of Jesus, concerning how the world will view His disciples–particularly those disciples in the end times.

“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
–Mark 13:13

But there was someone who only this past week disagreed with Jesus.

“Not ALL men. The LORD wants believers to have someone they can turn to for comfort!”

Actually, this is true: that ‘someone‘ is Jesus.

IF the reader really believes he is a Christian and the reader IS NOT suffering persecution and the hatred of the world for the name of Jesus, he had best make his calling and election sure.

Jesus did not lie.

God’s Word does not lie.

Men DO lie.

“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.”
–Luke 21:17

But even though the believer will be universally hated, he is to keep his good humor.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
–John 16:33

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
2 Corinthians 4:3
