There is a marked difference between being kept and being spared. Though many today hope against hope that there was a misprint in the Bible, or that the translation from the original Greek got a little wonky along the way, nowhere in the Book does it say we will be spared trials, afflictions or tribulations, but rather that we will be kept through them by the power of God, through faith for salvation.

I realize full well that many believers today feel as though they are entitled to be spared trials and tribulations. They feel as though they are deserving to not be called upon to endure hardships or afflictions, but oddly enough this sort of believer is mostly clustered in western nations, who have, as yet, not had to endure for the cause of Christ, or suffer what so many throughout the world are currently suffering today.

One suspects that this script has a twist or two in it yet. Remember 2008? Before Iowa, Clinton was “ordained” in and by the press. “Queen Hillary” articles were all that anyone saw–which created a huge backlash against her and made it possible for Barack Obama (the real pick) to be inaugurated.

This country has a history of calling “freedom,” slavery and “slavery,” freedom. But for decades, for large segments of the population, that wasn’t all that apparent. With ObamaCare, now it does affect them.

Pelosi is just following in the footsteps of American leaders who have publicly prattled on about “freedom” while some Americans were, literally, in chains.

Blacks, even if 1-born in this country and 2-NOT slaves, were NOT citizens of the United States and HAD NO RIGHTS to ever become citizens, according to the 1857 Supreme Court ruling of Dred Scott v Sandford.

So while this situation existed (until the 14th Amendment was ratified in 1868), countless American leaders took to podiums proclaiming this to be the land of “Freedom!” and “liberty!”

If it will help, just think of ObamaCare as another American freedom. That’s basically what Pelosi is saying.

Reading or listening to the Corporate Media immerses one, not in the “news,” but in a web of deception so thick that no one on the outside can see completely through it.
