Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

“behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
—2 Corinthians 6:2

TIME IS RUNNING OUT

The devil has many tricks, but one of his most insidious is to lull people into believing they have all the time in the world. For some of the lost, they have put off deciding for their salvation because “they aren’t ready yet.”

To all who have such a cavalier attitude toward the free gift of eternal life: you many need that free gift before you realize.

DOUBLE TROUBLE

No one knows when their appointed time will come around. The Bible declares that all have an appointed time and when that time comes, it is time to face judgment.

“Is there not an appointed time to man upon earth? are not his days also like the days of an hireling?”
—Job 7:1

“Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;”
—Job 14:5

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”
—Hebrews 9:27

BUT, in the times in which we live, there is one more consideration besides the uncertainty of the time of our death: the sudden calamities of the end times.

No one knows the day or hour of his appointed time. And no man knows the day or hour of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

“But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.”
—Mark 13:32

“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”
—Matthew 25:13

“Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.”
—Luke 12:40

Many church-goers worship an idol called the “god of love.”

It is not the God of the Bible.

They believe that they will wait and call to their idol and it will save them in their hour of need.

Hear what the God of the Bible says about waiting to call out for salvation.

“Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.”
—Proverbs 1:24-31

These are not the words of the fake “god of love” the churches worship. This is the Word of God.

So for all those who believe that a few minutes of “fun” on this lost and dead world is worth an eternity in the lake of fire:

Time is running out.

Is your calling and election sure?

What are you waiting for?

DO NOT listen to all those soothing voices whispering you have all the time in the world.

Seek the Lord while He may still yet be found.

Now is the acceptable time.

NOW is the day of salvation.

“Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”

One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. We live in an age when pretenders, wolves in sheep’s clothing, tares and counterfeits abound. The Bible predicted such times.

“For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.”
—Acts 20:29

There are many ways to tell tares. The Holy Spirit will assist because the Holy Spirit is a “Guide into all truth.” But, for any who do not pay attention to the Spirit, here’s 5 ways to tell if a person is a counterfeit or not.

1- The person is involved in spiritualism, necromancy or any action which involves a familiar spirit. This includes practices from eastern false religions, such as yoga or acupuncture.

This includes those who are involved in fortune telling, horoscopes, water witching, witches, wizards, or any other activity involving a familiar spirit such as consulting or talking to the dead.

Needless to say, this also applies to anyone who sacrifices their child to a demon.

“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD:”
—Deuteronomy 18:10-12

2- The person is involved in Freemasonry.

It’s sad to read the obituaries that begin “George So-and-so went to be with the Lord last night.” Then the obituary reports the deceased will be buried with “full Masonic honors.”

“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.”
—Matthew 10:32-33

Enough said.

3- Those who dismiss or ignore inconvenient Scripture.

A true believer does not ignore or dismiss the Word of God. The Word of God is a lamp to light the way for the believer.

IF two verses appear to contradict, the true believer immediately sets to reconcile them, knowing that the Word of God is one harmonious whole. There are NO contradictions: there are only unreconciled verses by those who lack the Holy Spirit.

Indignant and Offended: Real Christians do Not Dismiss God’s Word

Likewise, the true Christian does not play “dueling Scriptures.”

4- Anyone who is in a church discipleship program.

Jesus wrote the book on discipleship.

It is an extremely short one.

“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.”
—Luke 14:33

The churches write their own book on discipleship.

And it is one filled with excuses why a “regular person” or a “normal person” or a “modern Christian” cannot possibly do the things Jesus said were necessary to be His disciple.

They substitute their own, easier rules on discipleship. Most have to do with being a good little church member. Practically all substitute other gospels instead of the one in God’s Word. Many downplay the gospel in order to exalt their brand of “discipleship.”

IF you are in a church discipleship program, you are learning 1- a bunch of excuses; and, 2- commandments and traditions of men, not Jesus. IF you were a true believer, the Holy Spirit would be letting you know you were being misled.

It would also be making it clear to not be unequally yoked.

One of the most common excuses heard in the churches is “family obligations.”

Here is what Jesus said about that.

“And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.”
—Luke 9:59-60

“And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
—Luke 61-62

Doesn’t sound like Jesus would be very popular in the churches with all their talk about “church family.”

“If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”
—Luke 14:26

No one–including oneself–can come before Jesus if one wants to be His disciple. The unsaved do not know what this means and it sounds crazy or odd to them.

The short explanation: IF you make Jesus number one in your life, He will ensure that all your earthly relationships will work out for your best interest.

However, sometimes, you will not know it is your best interest until later.

“And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.”
—Luke 14:27

5- Any who are friendly with the world and the things of the world.

It’s easy to tell who is friendly with the world: just listen to them talk for a few minutes. They may say a lot of things to try and give the impression that they are one of “God’s people.” IN FACT, they will often bring it up repeatedly in the conversation.

But what worries them? What are they anticipating? Where is their attention focused? What is important to them?

Money? Power? Control? Pleasure? Politics? Pursuit of hidden knowledge? Magic?

These are among the things of the world.

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
—1 John 2:15

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon [money].”
—Matthew 6:24

“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
—James 4:4

Loving the things of this world and making excuses for for that love is probably the #1 way to tell counterfeits.

CONCLUSION

Apostates and counterfeits are fond of pointing out that “Only God knows the heart.”

And of course, that is true. But believers are called upon to judge fruit.

Believers are to treat non-believers differently than believers.

So: to the reader who may think these are “too harsh?”

Repent.

NOTE: Jesus said to leave the tares for Him to take care of at the end.

But again, believers are to treat non-believers differently, particularly to not be unequally yoked. To fulfill the commandments of Jesus, one has to know the difference between wheat and tares.

To the tares, share the gospel and pray for them–even if they “despitefully use” you.

NEWS about World War 3.
Are we on the road to World War 3? How much time do we have? Is there anything we can do about the events which are soon to overtake those living on the earth?

June 29 – 2015 has been a quiet year.

So far.

“Quiet” is not the same as “peaceful“–not with Iraq, Israel, Afghanistan, Syria, Ukraine, Yemen, Pakistan, ISIS and Libya, among others.

However, TO THIS POINT: 2015 has been much quieter than 2014.

Not much going on, world war 3-wise. Which is good for the world, bad for those looking for news of the next worldwide conflict.

There are hot spots which could explode at any time.

The two BIG questions remain: when? and where?

This week saw the lowest output of WWIII news since we resumed publishing WW3 Watch six weeks ago. Really, nothing much happened this part week. There was scant news, even from the usual World War 3 media drum-beaters.

That in itself makes some WW3 watchers uneasy.

This week was just one more quiet week in a series of quiet weeks dating back almost a year: August 2014.

However, history records it is during the midst of relative calm that previous World Wars have broken out after long periods of underlying tensions and military build-ups.

At WW3 Watch, feelings are divided. One the one hand, the world is and has been a quiet place (at least for the last 45+ weeks). On the other, war drums has been beating in the USA for almost a year and a “spark” could set off a big war at any time.

2015 hot spots: Yemen, Iraq and the South China Sea, many other places around the world are “uneasy.”

A year ago: Israel, Syria and Ukraine.

REMEMBER: World War 3 will happen. It’s not a matter of IF, it’s a matter of WHEN. World War 3 will happen.

The Bible [Revelation 6:4 among others] is clear on the subject of an end times world war.

“And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.”

World War 3 is coming–and it is a certainty.

Do You Know Jesus?

THE CALL:
Regardless of what fear is promoted in the media, World War 3 is AT THIS POINT, still down the road. However, every day brings it closer to reality. 2015 should bring more events leading, if not to WW3, then to the road to total world war.

HOT SPOTS – June 29, 2015

Ukraine – Basically unchanged. Russia keeps stirring the pot, but nothing solid has happened for weeks. There has been some sporadic media chatter over the USA and Canada making further commitments to Ukraine, but nothing concrete happened. NOTE: There is still very public, heavy, sporadic killing going on.
Baltic States – Unchanged but uneasy.
LIBYA – Unchanged.
YEMEN – Continued chaos. Various population groups displaced by fighting between government and “rebels.” But even Yemen has been warily quiet the last couple weeks.
IRAQ – Unchanged. ISIS has conducted periodic attacks which have been heavily promoted by the media. ISIS, Iraqi fources and the various Kurdish groups have been fighting.
CHINA – South China Sea area is seeing a Chinese military build-up and very public posturing by the Chinese. The USA has been pushing back. There have been various responses by the USA’s allies in the region. The USA and China both seem to be walking back previous provocative statements.
KURDISTAN (NEW) There is increasing talk of an independent Kurd state (the Kurds = the Medes of the Bible). This will create conflict in the Middle East, particularly in Syria, Turkey, Iran and whatever is left of Iraq.

At the six-month mark of 2015, there’s a 30% chance of World War III; which is +2% from last week.

This is not because of any peace efforts.

30 percent is still LOW. However, those who believe “all war is engineered events” are convinced that this means big things are just over the horizon.

Countering that are those who are beginning to feel that World War fear is being used to herd the American people into other unpleasantness on the domestic front.

For the stronger feelings on this first point, the relative calm means our rating ticked UP 2 points.

In general, there is just a feeling here that events have a little bit longer to go before WWIII begins. The long term view is 100%. This is no change from our last edition.

Pre-war propaganda levels in the USA against all things Muslim continues to escalate. The escalation in anti-Muslim propaganda in the USA began approximately 11 months ago and continues full force.

OBSERVATION: Some readers have used the phrase (and we ourselves have too) “I’m surprised war hasn’t broken out already.” Syria during the Spring 2014 was looking very much like a world war flash point.

Another sentiment is “I don’t know what’s keeping war from breaking out right now.” This occurs whenever a hot spot gets hotter.

NOTE: Something readers should keep in mind: the USA and Russia kept tensions high for 45 years during the Cold War without ONCE facing off in a shooting war. The tensions were continued by proxy wars in Korea and Vietnam and dozens of other, lesser points around the globe during that 45 years.

Of course, when World War 3 DOES begin, it’s likely to happen quite suddenly after a long build-up. The world is in the building-up stage at present. But then again, as a point of comparison, the world built up for 45 years during the Cold War.

The Corporate Media is continues to hype fear in the homeland. Over the last few months, almost all security agencies and organizations in the USA (FBI, CIA, Homeland Security) have issued warnings that a terror attack could take place in the USA soon.

These warning appear to be agencies protecting themselves so when the next attack comes, they cannot be accused of “sleeping on the job.”

A continued chance of a domestic terror attack before October 2016 leading to war in the Middle East : [+78%}. That’s no change%. Expect this number to gradually increase until the actual attack takes place.

One wonders though: is the deceptive media setting up another scenario of hyped tensions over a long period?

Could be. However, the Bible is clear that at some point, there will be World War.

TENSION ASSESSMENT: June 29, 2015

Most of the regional assessment–as has been the case for the last ten months–registered “no change” this week.

North Korea – quiet, some movement among the unstable leadership.
Ukraine – down–in spite of sporadic heavy fighting
Syria – steady. Battles between Kurds and ISIS reported.
Jordan – quiet
East Africa – quiet – This includes South Sudan
China – quiet. Even the South China Sea is beginning to defuse. At least words-wise.
Japan – continued downward trend since the last quarter of 2014.
North Africa – steady.
Russia – steady, with continued interest in Ukraine, Syria and Iraq, the Baltic States and Poland.
USA – Back down after an uptick the last few weeks over South China Sea concerns. Some military chatter about renewed boots on the ground in Iraq.
Israel – steady.
Egypt – down with continued pockets of domestic unrest.
Iran – quiet.
NATO – quiet. Continued testing of NATO defenses by Russian air assets.
Iraq – constant level of violence. Continued chaos by “ISIS.”
Afghanistan -Violence is sporadic. The country is a mess. Usual suspects among the Afghan leadership persistently urge USA to send more troops (mainly to help keep the leadership in power). The USA encourages such behavior because it gives the military an excuse to remain with boots on the ground.
YEMEN – Continued chaos.
Kurdistan – Will there be a new Kurdish state? What new conflicts will that spark–because it WILL spark conflicts in the region.

The world is on a steady march to World War 3. There will be periods of calm, periods of violence. Even during the periods of quiet, nothing will deter the beginning of World War 3.

It’s only a matter of “When?“

June 29, 2015 – We’re sticking with what we wrote a month ago.

Event so far in 2015 have been very quiet compared to 2014. However, to the people involved in the areas of fighting in Iraq, Syria and Yemen, it likely doesn’t seem very quiet. And people in the vicinity of the South China Sea are probably looking a bit nervous these days, hoping the latest flap will blow over.

When WW3 does break out, it will be without warning; very suddenly.

OLD SPECULATION: The next domestic terror attack will likely involve an EMP or an Ebola-type bio-weapon.

NEW SPECULATION: The next domestic terror attack will likely involve multiple attacks at the local level over a very large area of the USA. (See June 1, 2015.)

Overall Tension Assessment:The assessments have remained largely unchanged over the last nine months. The assessment is QUIET with a continuing chance of terror leading to war.

No one appears to be in a hurry to commence World War III.

Will this week bring bad news? We’ll see.

Friend of the World or Friend of God: Make Your Choice

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”

A popular saying in many churches is “We are IN this world but we are not OF this world.”

IF only that were true.

A better way of putting it would be: “You are either a friend of the world or a friend of God.”

You can’t be both.

It is the very, very rare individual who escapes the snares of this world.

Especially if that individual lives in the World’s Richest Country: the United States of America. The USA specializes in worldly things and temptations. The USA exports temptation to the rest of the world.

All that is in the world tempts those who live in it. And even when the true Christian breaks free of the world’s grip, the world never stops trying to re-entangle that believer.

Never.

The world doesn’t lose too many and the world DOES NOT like to talk about the “one who got away.”

Music, food, entertainment, society, parties, jobs, family, the church: the world will use anything and everything to lure the believer back into its deadly grip.

But the pleasures of the world are for a season.

Salvation is for eternity.

“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
—1 John 2:17

The true believer (besides having the Holy Spirit as a Guide into ALL truth) has the confidence that friendship with the world means a person is an ENEMY OF GOD.

“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
—James 4:4

And no true believer wants to be an enemy of God.

There is no “gray area.”

There is no “straddling the fence.”

One is either a friend of the world or a friend of God.

Which will it be?

End of War: Mankind’s Last Two Battles

The Bible describes the last two battles mankind will fight.

And after the second, a dream of mankind will be realized: the end of war.

THE PENULTIMATE BATTLE

Evil man gathers his forces in attempt to stop Jesus Christ at His second coming. The following are descriptions of the battle and its consequences.

“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.”
—Revelation 16:12

“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”

“And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.”

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

And the consequences of the battle between Jesus (who is riding the white horse) and the “kings of the earth and their armies”?

“And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”
—Revelation 19:20-21

MANKIND’S LAST BATTLE

After the battle is over, there are other events which happen as Jesus prepares for his 1000-year reign on earth. For one, Satan is bound during the 1000 years and will not trouble man during that time.

“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.”
—Revelation 20:1-3

“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.”
—Revelation 20:7-8

And then the last battle will be fought. As usual, it will be fought as a rebellion against God and His Anointed, Jesus Christ.

The last battle will be very short and very brutal.

“And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.”
—Revelation 20:9

And that will be the end of war.

“And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.”
—Isaiah 2:4
