Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy: Deceiving Men Away from Jesus

END TIMES DECEPTIONS

Pulling People away from the Basic Principle:

JESUS IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY

A few observations on an interesting article posted this week.

The great city spiritually called Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord was crucified (w/VIDEOS)

Satanic Egyptian Kabbalah white and black magic is now commercialized in Jerusalem

In the body of the post were some helpful graphics which contained more information.  One of the graphics contained the following.

Want to build world peace?  Build third temple –  Organization launches campaign to raise funds for draft plans of site, which, if built, it says, would ‘usher in universal harmony.

This particular article was from the Times of Israel.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”
1 Thessalonians 5:3

But Richman did not set a target date for breaking ground for the construction project. The temple will be built, he told JTA, when “the world will want us to build the temple.”

The temple article goes on to claim: “The Jews have to represent good in the world, light in the world.”

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
John 8:12

Concerning End Times Prophecy

Jesus warned of false Christs, false prophets, false teachers, deception: He warned believers about it ALL. But there are many who inhabit the churches who do not know their Bibles.  There are many for whom the Bible is not enough.

“But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.”
Mark 13:23

There are charlatans and deceivers who claim angels have revealed to them when the end will come.

“But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.”
Mark 13:32

One goal the mystery of iniquity ALWAYS works toward: pulling readers and hearers away from Jesus Christ. End times prophecy is like the rest of the Bible: it all points to Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Like a squid, the mystery of iniquity works overtime to throw up an inky cloud of distractions and deceptions.  They will point to anything but Jesus: blood moons, fake temples, dates and months, whatever.

The satanic eschatology taught by most of the American Church will deceive those who inhabit the churches into following the coming man of sin.

MAN OF SIN: The Man of Sin is Coming

Because so many do not have the Holy Spirit–and therefore have no discernment–American pew-sitters will believe the man of sin and his whore Church to be “of God,” They will flock to fill the whore Church which will look like Christianity, but is from Satan.

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
Revelation 13:11

American church-goers–who cannot discern obvious antichrist wolves such as TD Jakes, Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyers, Pat Robertson, John Hagee and Billy Graham–will rush to embrace the man of sin and his whore Church of the end times apostasy.

This apostasy will be so great and widespread, to the pseudo-Christian it will look like a “revival”–and it will be: a great, worldwide satanic revival for the dragon’s man of sin.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”
2 Thessalonians 2:3

Because so many have gone after false teachers and antichrist doctrines for so long and had not a love for the truth, God promises he will blind those with a “strong delusion.”  ALL that receive the strong delusion are damned.  This includes the vast majority of the American Church.

STRONG DELUSION: Strong Delusion is Coming

“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

A few closing observations.

There are many who claim to have the end times scenario all figured out.  Many times they have books, charts and other paraphernalia. One thing usually missing is a fundamental understanding of Christianity and how the Scriptures apply to it.

Two things to keep in mind:

1-Jesus is our more sure word of prophecy.

“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.”
2 Peter 1:19-20

2- All prophecy points to Jesus.  the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. If someone offers a grand end times scenario which does not testify of Jesus, then it is false.

Much that is deceptive and false can be discovered by keeping the basic Scripture in mind.

“And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

There are many deceivers who claim to have the end times revealed to them.  They present facts, figures, signs in the sky, distractions to pull the believer away from what all prophecy points to: Our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is something to keep in mind the next time someone presents sly information and says something to the effect: “Well, that’s your interpretation!

End Times Rising: Running Out of Time

THE END TIMES: Are here. The climax is about to begin. Time has almost run out.
THE END TIMES: Are here. The climax is about to begin. Time has almost run out.

PART ONE

TIME IS RUNNING OUT

It is the end times.

Even the lost and worldly know that something is different.  Many are not sure what it is which isn’t right, but they don’t like the looks of the place where events seem to be heading.

Believers know that no man knows the day or the hour, but believers are to know the season.

“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.”
1 Thessalonians 5:2-4

There’s been a lot written about the end times.  Actually, there’s been a lot of deception peddled about the end times.

American Christians are looking for

Most of these events will happen.

As deceptions.

What are some of the events that actually will take place?

  • Chaos
  • World war
  • More chaos
  • Famine, pestilence, death
  • Billions die worldwide
  • worldwide apostasy
  • lying signs and wonders
  • Deception, deception, deception
  • Absolute lawlessness masquerading as peace and brotherhood.
  • The completion of the perversion that has gripped the visible Church
  • The coming of the man of sin, the false messiah
  • The worship of the dragon
  • Worldwide persecution of the saints or the remnant church
  • The return of Jesus Christ to set up his kingdom after disposing of the imposter and his crew.

This list isn’t speculation. Those are events prophesied in the Bible.

“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”
2 Timothy 3:13

As the time nears, the sources of deception reveal themselves by their continued deceptions.  Even the most clever of the children of disobedience reveal themselves by their resistance to God’s Word.

Like so much else, American Christians have out-sourced their Bible study to others.  This has led to the unfortunate situation of many not knowing what is in their Bibles.  Many DO know what they’ve been told is in their Bibles.

Many in the American Church are expecting worldwide revival and signs and wonders.  The Bible says they will see worldwide apostasy (which the ungodly won’t be able to distinguish from revival) and lying signs and wonders.

Because most of those who inhabit the churches are deceived and bereft of both the Holy Spirit and discernment, they will cling to what they have been told: they will be further deceived by the apostasy in the Church and the lying signs and wonders.

Deception flourishes.  Time is running out.

  • Have you made your calling and election sure?
  • Have you separated from the things of this world?
  • Are you walking in obedience to the Father?
  • Are you spending your time preparing: in prayer and in God’s Word?
  • Once again: Have you made your calling and election sure?

Do You Know Jesus?

Are you prepared to be an overcomer?

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Discerning Discernment Ministries: Every Day is a Joel Osteen Day

DISCERNING DISCERNMENT MINISTRIES: Every day is a Joel Osteen Day
DISCERNING DISCERNMENT MINISTRIES: Every day is a Joel Osteen Day

DISCERNMENT MINISTRIES:

Picking the Low-Hanging Fruit

THANK HEAVEN FOR JOEL OSTEEN AND ROB BELL AND RICK WARREN

A great many “Christians” in America need to stop what they are doing right now this moment and get down on their knees.  To thank God.

For Joel Osteen.

And Rob Bell

And Rick Warren.

And the Word of Faith preachers of the prosperity gospel.

And the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons.

And the pope.

And the atheists.

And the Emergent Church.

And the Church of Satan.

A great shout of praise needs to be lifted to heaven (or to someone) for providing all those on the “Obviously Apostate” list.  Because if it weren’t for Osteen, Warren, Todd Bentley, Rob Bell, the pope and the others, who would our crack discernment teams write about?

If the Obviously Apostate disappeared tonight, hundreds of “Christian” radio shows across the USA would suddenly have a complete and total lack of programming tomorrow.  Without the Obviously Apostate, who would they discern?

Christian Distractions, Christian Lightning Rods: Obviously Apostate, Obviously Lost – A list of some of the more obviously apostate.

Visited a “cutting edge discernment website,” and there were all of the ‘normal’ discernment props on display for their “Christian” audience to see: the Spurgeon devotionals, the occasional reference to the Bible, and the obligatory pieces on Joel Osteen and Rob Bell and the emergent church.

Most of the people in the comments seemed to be giving each other and the authors the Internet equivalent to high fives. There is much congratulations and celebrations of the crowd’s ability to discern a wolf like Joel Osteen.

Now, Osteen IS a creepy, pretend christian–no doubt about that. In fact, it’s strongly suspected that he’s supposed to be. In fact, Osteen is so totally UNChristian, that many nonbelievers in the world have him nailed cold.  But how many times do the “discernment ministries” need to beat that particular spiritually-dead horse?

Yes, there are people in America who are taken in by the likes of Joel Osteen and TD Jakes.  But there is a big list of “discernment ministries” which have a short list of easy targets and no others. Every day, it’s another piece on the same group: Osteen, Warren, the Word-Faith wolves and the atheists.

Here’s a tip: if a person’s level of discernment is so nonexistent as to sit under a Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer or TD Jakes, that person is most likely NOT reading one of the cookie cutter online “discernment” ministries for guidance. Seriously, if a person is taken in by a TD Jakes or Joyce Meyer or Kenneth Copeland, there’s a fair chance that person isn’t even saved–else the Holy Spirit would be dancing a jig on the person’s head every time they turned the channel to one of those antichrist forerunners.

The Bible says that the level of real discernment will be nonexistent in the last days.  Actually, because so many who sit in the counterfeit whore Church “received not the love of the truth,” God will send them a strong delusion so that they will believe a lie and be damned [2 Thessalonians 2:10-12].

Once the strong delusion hits, there will be NO discernment at all–except among the remnant of true believers who will be  on the run from the false prophets and apostles of the whore church. The remnant will be tagged as “evil” and marked for “cleansing.”

Back to today’s lack of discernment–both by pew-sitters and “discernment ministries.”

Witchcraft in the church?  Occult imagery in the popular church praise and worship music?  Counterfeit spirits and unbiblical pagan practices and rituals taking place in the churches? Antichrist dominion theology invading the churches?

Not so much as a word about any of that–and when there is, it’s so empty and non-specific, it’s a good guess as to what the author/host is referring.

Cheap grace? Unsaved people pretending that they have an eternal fire insurance policy because they raised their hand or prayed a prayer one time? Popular Bible teachers exalted when they teach what’s in the Bible one day and teach totally contrary to the Bible the next (John MacArthur and just about any other media-driven “ministry”).

How many take on the science fiction eschatology that has ushered in a respectability for the occult, gnosticism, paganism and UFO lore? Wolves like Chuck Missler, Tom Horn, Cris Putnam, LA Marzulli mostly get a free pass and their adherents tote their Scriptural poison into many a church.

This crew serve as Nephilim pimps for the whore church.  Fairy tales about the Nephilim serve as a gateway drug to the occult and Catholic mysticism–and few “discernment ministries” take them on because they know these false teachers are popular.

There’s not only fake discernment being peddled in America, there’s a whole apologetics industry which has sprung up–not to defend the tenets of Christianity–but to defend the wolves and false prophets and teachers who mangle God’s Word!

So by all means: throw another Joel Osteen piece on the fire.

Everybody come in close and warm yourself.  Pat your neighbor on the back and congratulate him on his ability to “discern” good from evil.

And while the back-slapping and high-fiving is taking place, another dozen churches go down the tubes to the enemy.

Which, one suspects, is when the real celebrations commence.

[2 Observations:

1-Some discernment ministries DO take on the tougher targets.  Whenever we find one, we try to link to them.

2-Discernment ministries most often are attacked because one of their “targets” has accused them of being “too religious” or “too discerning.”  This writer believes that the evidence will show the real problem lies in the opposite direction.]

Third Jewish Temple: The Temple of God?

Temple of God: What does the Bible say about the Temple of God?
Temple of God: What does the Bible say about an end times temple of God? IF a third Jewish Temple is erected, will that be the temple of God referred to by the apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2?  [Image: ETPR]
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.”
1 Corinthians 3:16-17

THIRD JEWISH TEMPLE: Part One

WILL A TEMPLE BUILT WITH HUMAN HANDS BE CALLED THE TEMPLE OF GOD BY THE BIBLE?

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”
–1 Corinthians 6:19

“And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
–2 Corinthians 6:16

Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death; But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses, And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.
–Matthew 26:59-61

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The Bible: Buiding a Foundation
Temple of God Building a Foundation

The Temple of God:

What is it?

Is the Temple of God an end times Third Jewish Temple rebuilt on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem?

What do Modern Prophecy Teachers say about the Temple of God?

What does the Bible say about the Temple of God?

A popular teaching that has taken hold in the end times church–especially in the English-speaking world–is that the Jews will rebuild their temple in Jerusalem. This Third Temple will to be rebuilt on the Temple Mount.

This “Third Temple” (it would more accurately should be called the Fourth Temple, but more on that later) is the subject of many words in many books, many charts and timelines, as well as the basis for much of the teachings that circulate in the Christian Church about the time immediately preceding the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

An entire eschatology has been erected around the appearance of this Third Temple–this temple of God–in the end times.

But, is this the case?

Where did this teaching originate?

What does the Bible teach about the temple of God?

If the Jews were to rebuild a temple in Jerusalem, would this be the temple of God?

More importantly, if a building were to be erected as a Third Jewish Temple, would the Word of God refer to such a building as the “temple of God?”

This article will attempt to answer these and other questions surrounding the topic of this end times temple of God spoken of by both Jesus and the apostle Paul.

WARNING: This article will ask a few questions concerning end times prophecy as is stated in the Bible. This is not the version of events laid out by the MODERN AMERICAN PROPHECY INDUSTRY.

If any readers have gone over to the doctrines of man, so that what the Bible clearly states is of none effect, you may want to stop reading now.

Remember: You have been warned.

The Temple of God: In the News

ON a regular basis, stories appear in the Corporate Media which speculate on the building of a third Jewish temple in Jerusalem. Here’s a few recent headlines.

From Haaretz: One third of Israeli Jews want Temple rebuilt in Jerusalem, poll finds

From Jweekly: Rebuilding Temple in Jerusalem: holy work or holy mess?

From Ynetdaily: Poll: Israel’s Jews abandoning Temple

From Utah’s Deseret News: Jewish organization opens Holy Temple Visitors’ Center in Jerusalem

There are more, but these are a recent sampling.

The problem with these teachings of the end times centered around a rebuilt Third Jewish Temple–which many teachers insist it “the temple of God”–is that these teachings (like many modern Christians who refer to the church as a building)  wrongly identify the temple of God as a building.

“Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,”
Acts 7:48

“God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;”
Acts 17:24

From Temple of God:

The presence of God is essentially that which defines the Temple.

Unless the glory of God “inhabits” the Temple (1K. 1K. 8:10-11; 2Chr. 2Chr. 7:1; Eze. Eze. 43:2-4; Eze. 44:1-2; Hag. Hag. 2:7-9; Mtt. Mat. 20:12) it is just a dead architectural edifice.

Would God refer to a building which tramples on the once and for all sacrifice of his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as the “temple of God?”

From the Temple of God:

Conversely, in the history of the Temple, there are grave consequences when the Shekinah departs from the Temple, for it indicates God’s displeasure with those among whom He previously dwelt and the removal of His protection and blessing in His departure. The Temple, the house of Israel, is left desolate when the glory of God departs. In at least two occasions in history, the result has been the destruction of the Temple.

From the Temple of God:

In summary, the Shekinah is the visible representation of the localized presence of God. By God’s design, the Temple is the location where His abiding presence is intended to dwell and where He has put His name (Deu. Deu. 12:5, Deu. 12:11, Deu. 12:21; 2Chr. 2Chr. 6:20; 2Chr. 7:16; 2Chr. 20:19; Ezra Ezra 6:12; Ne. Ne. 1:9; Mtt. Mat. 21:13; Mark Mark 11:17; Luke Luke 19:46).

“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
–Matthew 18:20

“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”
–Ephesians 2:19-22

From the Haaretz article, One third of Israeli Jews want Temple rebuilt in Jerusalem, poll finds, we find that

“Among religious Jews questioned, 43 percent support construction on Temple Mount, compared with 31 percent among secular Jews.”

“There are currently dozens of movements working to change the status quo at the holy site. Some are reconstructing ceremonial objects used in the Temple in the past, while others are making practical preparations for its rebuilding, including a renewal of animal sacrifice. Others deal in political lobbying and in encouraging Jews to visit the Mount.”

Quotes from articles such as these get picked up and repeated in Christian, especially evangelical, circles.

A few interesting facts WHICH DON’T MAKE IT INTO CHRISTIAN DISCUSSIONS were also included in this article. Again, I’ll quote from the article.

“However, despite the changing attitude to the Mount, the Jewish public still considers the Western Wall to be the faith’s holiest site – 66 percent singled out the Kotel for this distinction, compared to 29 percent who chose the Temple Mount.”

So fully two-thirds of Jews consider the Western Wall to be Judaism’s holiest site. Not even one-third think the Temple Mount is.

NOW: How does this relate to what the Bible says is coming in the end times?

Most of the members of the MODERN AMERICAN PROPHECY INDUSTRY give their followers a sure timeline to follow.

This timeline is comforting to their followers because they believe that they know what to watch for to know when the 2nd coming of Jesus is very near. Some of these landmarks are:

* A war described in Psalm 83 between Israel and it’s neighbors.

* A war described in Ezekiel 38-39 (sometimes called the Gog-Magog war).

* A peace treaty signed by super-villain THE ANTICHRIST with Israel which will kick off a 7-year period of horrific events known as the Tribulation. Some writers divide up this 7-year period into (2) 3 ½ year periods called the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation.

* The rebuilding of a third Jewish temple which the AntiChrist will defile at the half-way mark of the Tribulation by what is called the Abomination of Desolations. This event will kick off that 2nd 3 ½ year period, as it comes in the middle of the Tribulation.

* Any other of a number of landmarks which I’ll not go into tonight because they are not central to the discussion of this Jewish temple.

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT THE REBUILDING OF A THIRD JEWISH TEMPLE?

Well, the Prophecy Industry people like to quote several passages to prove that there will be a third Jewish temple built. One is 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4. This reads

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
This is the main text used in order to “prove” that there will be a third Jewish temple built.

Let’s think about this for a moment.

Let’s suppose that the Jews build a Third Temple in Jerusalem. What would be their reason for rebuilding the temple?

Undoubtedly it would be so that they could offer sacrifice to God. Why offer such sacrifices? The Jews would tell you that this is how God forgives or covers their sins as a people.

NOW, would God accept such sacrifices? Would God accept anything that tramples on what the Bible calls “the once and for all” sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ? If you are a Christian and you know your Bible, you would have to answer “NO.”

Okay, then, here’s the BIG QUESTION: Would God call such a place that offers sacrifices he won’t accept “The Temple of God?”

Think about that for a moment. Who else in the Bible famously offered sacrifice that was not pleasing to God? In Genesis chapter 4 it says:

And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

God rejected the offering of Cain. God will reject the offering of any man-based sacrifice now that His Son, Jesus came to earth and died for our sins.

So back to our question: WOULD GOD CALL A THIRD JEWISH TEMPLE THE TEMPLE OF GOD?

If anyone had written such a thing (The Temple of God is the Third Jewish Temple) before the last 100-150 years, it would have been a concept FOREIGN to Christians.

It’s only in our time, the end times; the time of an apostate church where the pews are filled with people who self-label themselves as “Christians”; who don’t know their Bibles–could such a concept have arisen. And not only has the concept arose, it is embraced. And defended. And people get ANGRY if they are challenged. They don’t need to know anything except what they have decided is the TRUTH.

Here’s what some famous Bible commentaries in years past had to say about what the Temple of God Paul was referring to in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 really is. Notice that they will use other scripture to settle this question. This is what Christians believed for hundreds of years. Basically, until our own times.

This NOT The way of the Modern Prophecy teachers. They use one verse. Sometimes, they will use a couple that they have wrenched out of context to support their end times scenarios.

From the notes of the 1599 Geneva Bible: referring to the Temple of God.

He foretells that the antichrist (that is, whoever he is that will occupy that seat that falls away from God) will not reign outside of the Church, but in the very bosom of the Church.

Adam Clark, whose commentaries were a staple of Christianity for years wrote a commentary that took 40 years to complete.

Who opposeth and exalteth] He stands against and exalts himself above all Divine authority, and above every object of adoration, and every institution relative to Divine worship, sebasma, himself being the source, whence must originate all the doctrines of religion, and all its rites and ceremonies; so that sitting in the temple of God-having the highest place and authority in the Christian Church, he acts as Godtaking upon himself God’s titles and attributes, and arrogating to himself the authority that belongs to the Most High.

The apostle Paul mentioned the Temple of God many times in his epistles which constitute a good portion of the New Testament.

The body of the Believer is the temple of the Holy Spirit, Paul uses the Temple of God to refer to the CHURCH, the Christian Church on a number of occasions.

Do a search! Look them up!

AGAIN, this is what Christians believed for hundreds of years. Basically, until our own times.

So, the Temple of God is the Christian Church?

That’s what the Bible says.

Does this mean that the Jews will NOT build a third temple in Jerusalem?

NO. But the word of God will not refer to such a building–or any building offering another way to God outside of Jesus Christ–as the Temple of God.

Pay attention to the headlines.

Pay attention to the news.

There will be stories speculating about a Third Jewish Temple that may be built in Jerusalem. They will be breathlessly repeated among Christians.

Will this third Temple have anything to do with the end times?

Maybe.

But the Anti-Christ will not sit in it and blaspheme God. That’s not what the Bible says. The Bibles says that he will sit in the Temple of God, the Church and do his blaspheming.

That changes things a bit doesn’t it?

Here’s one last question:

Do any listeners expect the tightly-controlled, New World Order puppets in the Corporate Media to tell Christians the truth about a Third Jewish Temple?

Or do you expect them to try and deceive you?

The Temple of God: Part Two

In part 2, we’ll look at how the construction of a third Jewish temple–a concept foreign to Christianity before 1800–fits right in with the end times scenario erected by Satan and his ministers over the last 180 years–and believed by the vast majority of Americans sitting in Christian churches.

Pagan Gods: Hybrid Eschatology and Pagan Gods Assault the Christian Church

Pagan Gods and Pagan Concepts invade the American Christian Church

Attack led by “Christian prophecy” teachers

A well-researched and compelling article can be found at Herescope titled,  The Resurrection of Pagan Gods.  The article, subtitled the Mingling of Mythology with God’s Truth, details what has taken place in the writings and teachings of the Modern American Prophecy Industry‘s Science Fiction Church.

It  is the latest in a series on the Rise of End Times Occultism and the Postmodern Prophecy Paradigm (PPP).

Tom Horn, Gary Stearman and Chuck Missler are currently the leading vendors of this ooze of hybrid paganism overlaid with a veneer of Christian prophecy.  Its target audience appears to be Christians, gnostics and UFO enthusiasts.

The result is a steaming mixture of New Age, pagan occultism masquerading as Christian eschatology–which Americans seem to lap up.

This extra-biblical eschatology is profitable and so a steady stream of books, DVDs and other media pour forth from those who blend God’s Word with Greek and Roman mythology, New Age, paganism and Jewish witchcraft.

How comforting that the Bible predicted these merchants in the end times.

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.”
2 Peter 2:1-3

The authors, Gaylene Goodroad and Sarah Leslie, do a tremendous job of providing the details of this invasion of extra-biblical teachings into the American Christian Churches. Some highlights and thoughts follow.

In Horn’s 2009 book, Apollyon Rising 2012, he predicted the pagan god Apollo would materialize on earth in 2012.  When that didn’t happen, Horn took that book, added a few additions and republished it as Zenith 2016.  Again, its target audience appears to be Christians, gnostics and UFO enthusiasts.

Or any who have only a passing acquaintance with what the Bible states about the end times.

It never ceases to amaze how some Christians discard the authority of the Bible whenever these teachers begin a sentence with “Experts agree…” or some other appeal to the authority of man.  Raising mythology and NWO schemes–of which, admitting there are many–to the level of God’s Word is a specialty of these teachers.

This is just one of the many perversions invading the church from every point on the spectrum of so-called Christian media: books, DVDs, music,TV, films, CDs.

Christian mass media has paved the way for this last days deception.  It’s little wonder that Christians do not recognize this incorporation of pagan gods into their religion: besides the offerings of Horn, et.al., American pew-sitters have been well-prepared by popular Christian music whose lyrics often compare God to nonexistent  little “g” gods.

In fact, these nonexistent pagan gods are really demons.

“But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.”
1 Corinthians 10:20

By elevating these demons to Jehovah’s level, modern Christians anger God, according to His word.

“…for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God”
Exodus 20:5

Yet Christians, in defiance of the Bible, continue to compare the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to other gods–even though the Bible is crystal clear on the issue of other gods.

“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:”
Isaiah 45:5

I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
Isaiah 43:11

“Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.”
Isaiah 44:8

Why risk God’s wrath?

“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:”
Proverbs 21:2a

What’s really under assault, whether it’s from the Tom Horn’s Science Fiction Church, the New Age, the PPP or the New Apostolic Reformation, is the supremacy of the Word of God.  The Bible’s authority has been under attack for centuries; it has accelerated over the last 150 years.

And this acceleration has come primarily from within the Church; from those sitting and teaching and writing books as Christians.

This “return of the pagan gods” is only one of the popular, hybrid teachings currently at work in American Christianity.

It’s one drop of the tsunami of syncretism lashing at the Church of Jesus Christ in these last days.

Revival or Apostasy: To Everything There is a Season

REVIVAL or APOSTASY: Which does the Bible say will happen in the end times?
REVIVAL or APOSTASY: Which does the Bible say will happen in the end times?

What Does the Bible have to say about the End Times?

Revival or Apostasy?

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Many Christians want a Great Revival!

4 Reasons NYC’s Faith Boom could Forecast National Revival, ‘Spiritual Renaissance’

They plead for it.  They hunger for it.  They plan for it.

But in the times in which we live, is it Biblical?

Regardless of how hard Scripture is twisted, the Bible says nothing about a “Great End Times Revival.”  It does, however, warn of “falling away,”  “apostasy” and “perilous times.”

If one believes that we are living in the end times, then one has to look for the signs of those times.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”
2 Thessalonians 2:4

“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”
Matthew 24:12

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”
2 Timothy 3:1

So what of all the calls for revival?

Many pew-sitters in American Christian churches want nothing of repentance–without which there can be no revival.

In these days in which we live, there are no shortage of men who will tickle the ears of the pew-sitters, who want to be encouraged of revival–without any of the heavy lifting required to bring it about.

Only 2% of Christians regularly witness.  The New Testament is available to over 94 percent of the world.

“To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

There have been times of revival.  There was a great revival in the days of the apostles in Acts.  While modern Christians can learn valuable lessons from Acts, they are not living in the same times as when the events in Acts took place.

Christians are living in MUCH different times–times in which Jesus Himself warned about.

See Matthew 24.

“To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

A time for revival and a time for apostasy.

Does this mean that Christians are no longer to share the good news of Jesus Christ?  That God has offered full pardon for the sins of lost and wicked man in exchange for belief on the atoning blood of His Son, Jesus Christ’s death on the cross? Is that time over?

God forbid.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 28:19-20

EVERY season is the season to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”
2 Timothy 4:2

“To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

In which season are Christians now living:?

The season of revival?

Or the season of apostasy?

The Bible clearly states the latter.  But regardless of which season, Christians are to witness to those who are lost and dying and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

To those who hunger for revival: there IS a great global move coming.

But it will not be from God.

“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,”
2 Thessalonians 2:9

Which season are you looking for?

[NOTE:

When I say “People want revival” I am talking about a “Great End Times Revival” that I read about and I have heard people talking about.I am not saying that “No revival can exist” or “God has never demonstrated revival.”    I’m not saying “People can’t get saved” or  “God doesn’t deliver or heal people”

The Bible doesn’t support this notion of a Great End Times Revival.  There will still be souls won.  But it will be hand-to-hand combat.]

Nephilim, Giants and Fallen Angels: The Other Side of the Story

Giants and Nephilim
The other side of the Nephilim stories that the American Prophecy Industry doesn’t tell you.

POST-MODERN PROPHECY PARADIGM:

NEPHILIM, GIANTS, ALIENS & FALLEN ANGELS in Modern American Christianity

Sometimes, one reads a series of articles that leave one with the sense that something about them is not quite right–though it’s hard to pin down exactly what that might be.

Thus it has been with the raft of “super soldier,” Nephilim and alien stories that have been promoted by various Christian end times authors. This storyline has provided a brisk business for those involved in the telling of these stories. But, again, something just didn’t quite seem to add up.

And make no mistake about it: the stories of Nephilim, giants, aliens and fallen angels are very entertaining.  No wonder they’re popular. They would make great movie scripts.

But do they make good, sound Bible teaching?

The articles whose links appear in this post go a long way toward putting a finger on what it is about those fantastic end times stories which is not quite right.  I’m not prepared to state that everything the PPP (Postmodern Prophecy Paradigm) teachers are saying is wrong. But some of it clearly is not right.

One evidence has been their heavy reliance on extra-Biblical/mystical/occult sources to flesh out their teachings.  That should make any Christian uncomfortable.

Another is the sensational  exposure of “cover-ups”–mostly involving the government.  Speculation and “what if’s” also play a very large part, physical evidence and Biblical exegesis not so much, in their building of an end times eschatology about which the Bible is mostly silent.

Knowing the “other side’s” plans isn’t wrong (We’re commanded to “be wise as serpents.”). But a strong dependance on extra-Biblical sources in order to make your case is not very encouraging.  Another thing which is unsettling: one may educate readers about the meanings of occult symbols without plastering them on one’s own materials: seems occult or paranormal imagery dominates much of the PPP merchandise.

As stated, the listed articles are very informative. They contain much Biblical information that the PPP teachers are simply leaving out or de-emphasizing.
