Five BIG Reasons Mankind Makes an Accommodation With Evil and Worships Satan in the Last Days

evil

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
–Revelation 13:4,8

One of the items in God’s Word which MANY disagree with has to do with Revelation 13:8’s observation that ALL who dwell upon the earth (whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world) shall worship Satan and his beast.

That’s just crazy talk!  I would never worship Satan!  They would have to kill me first!”

Whereas God–who exists at every point in time past, present and future–has already been to tomorrow and is merely reporting what happens, the many who disagree with God’s report are armed with SUPPOSITIONS which begin with “I think” OR “I feel” OR “I believe.”

HOWVER, they are wrong: God’s Word is true.

So, what are some of the reasons the end times world worships the dragon (Satan) and his evil beast?

Here are five BIG ones.

1- Regardless of the many beautiful words which pour from man’s mouth, MOST are mainly concerned with one thing and one thing only: their COMFORT.

In the last days, many make a finely-considered unconscious calculation about where to achieve (or continue in) comfort.  And that calculation tells them to throw in with the dragon (Satan).

This is in addition to the workers of iniquity, who make a CONSCIOUS calculation about their maximum comfort–and that calculation tells them to side with Satan.

Unfortunately, all of those who make decisions based on their comfort levels are supremely disapppointed when God’s judgments begin to fall upon the earth and its inhabitants.

In other words: those who desired COMFORT will NOT realize their desires–for more than a short time.

2- Because so many are focused on this life alone, they look upon this life as EVERYTHING.  Therefore, to all of those people, accomodating evil is just one more method of overcoming life’s obstacles.

Some look upon worshiping Satan as just one more “tool” in their “toolbox.”

3- Man is inherently wicked.

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
–Jeremiah 17:9

Not only does Satan deceive man, man is an expert at deceiving himself.

“Oh, I’ll just do it this one time–and then, I’ll make up for it!”

“I’ll clean up some trash or help out at the church’s spaghetti dinner next month.”

“It’s not really worship if you do it to stay alive.”

4- Satan is a tricky fellow and USUALLY deceives by degrees.

End times man does NOT wake up one morning and say, “Gee, I think I”ll start worshiping Satan today.”

No, end times man will worship Satan because he has been led to that point incrementally.  Worshiping the dragon (Satan) will have become so comfortable for them to do.

For instance, all who are alive now make many daily accomodations with evil, but do not even think of it that way because those accomodations have become so familiar to them.

Satan uses the familiar to deceive.

Therefore, end times man will worship Satan because that is the where he has been led to for YEARS.  In fact, many will not give it too much of a second thought, reasoning that what they are doing is not that different from what they have already done.

Man makes an accomodation with evil because man is so used to making such arrangements.

Satan is a tricky fellow.

5- Many of those worshipers will come from the ranks of those who belong to the churches.

Although many INITIALLY join various churches with the best of intentions, those intentions gradually fall victim to what is considered to be “approved behavior” by good people.

In the last days, approved behavior will mean worshiping Satan.

“Joe’s doing it and Joe has always been a fine, upstanding member of the church.”

The churches are composed of mankind–and God (who already lives in tomorrow) reports that ALL mankind will worship Satan.

These are five BIG reasons man worships the dragon (Satan) in the last days.

There are other reasons (such as the world constantly calling, “C’mon! Come on, it’ll be FUN!  You want to have some fun don’t you?  A little fun never hurt anyone!“): can the reader think of any?

These other reasons may or may not be explored in the future.

God willing.

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

FEW Count it All Joy

counting

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
–James 1:2-4

God’s Word informs the believer that he is to ‘count it all joy’ EVERY TIME he is persecuted; EVERY TIME he is tried; EVERY TIME he is tested (tempations) by the world because he is a follower of Jesus Christ.

“For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake”
–Philippians 1:29

The early disciples of Jesus KNEW and followed this advice.

As Jesus Himself told the those present for His sermon on the mount (Matthew 5).

“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”
–Matthew 5:11-12

And so, the apostles and disciples of Jesus did not let physical discomfort discourage them from spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Whenever they suffered persecution because they were followers of Jesus, they CELEBRATED!

“And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.”
–Acts 5:40-41

One bit of advice which was liberally handed out to believers in the early church was IF they were truly followers of Jesus Christ, then all would not be sweetness and light: they would suffer persecution for His sake–and they would reap benefits from that persecution.

“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.”
–1PETER 4:12-14,16

“Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin”
–1PETER 4:1

Early followers most definitely had to “put their money where their mouth was.”

Persecution for being a follower of Jesus Christ is PROMISED in God’s Word.

“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
–2TIMOTHY 3:12

The early followers of Jesus not only KNEW and expected persecution for the name of Jesus, they EXPECTED IT!

They were to count it all joy.

Contrast that with the attitude of many who populate the churches today: claiming they are Christians BUT secretly terrified they might have to experience some disadvantage because of those claims.

The words of a young church-goer from YEARS ago still are both vivid and germane.

“Get my head cut off?  I didn’t sign up for that.  If that happens, I’m so outta here!”

As the true followers of Jesus have ALWAYS been FEW, one suspects that there will be as many in the last days who ‘count it all joy’ as there were, say, a thousand years ago.

Though we live in a time and place where MANY have joined the Sunday organizations we call “the churches,” MANY will be ‘outta here’ when the persecution for the name of Jesus begins to grow worse.

HOWEVER, there will still be a FEW who will count it all joy.

Too Busy

busy

The world is a busy place.

Busy.

Busy.

Busy.

Busy at work.

Busy at play.

Busy just surviving.

IF the reader does not believe the world is a busy place, just ask someone.  Chances are, that person will inform the reader just how busy he is–as well as how busy he will be for the foreseeable future.

If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it.”

The reasoning behind this oft-repeated quote–attributed to Benjamin Franklin–is that a busy person is ALREADY managing his time effectively–else he would not have the time to be as busy as he is.

All of this is written to write this: as busy as the world pretends to be, it is NOT too busy to stop for a moment and consider the eternal destination of one’s soul.

BUT, the world pretends to be be too busy to consider eternal salvation.

And so, the world remains focused on the busy life of this world; of the 60-90 years one spends in this body doing the things of the world.

The untold millions of years of one’s eternity?

Well, the world is much too busy to consider ANYTHING but the next 2-3 hours.  THEN, the 2-3 hours AFTER that.

And so on…

And before one knows it, he is NOT busy doing anything but the things one must do in order to comfortably live this life.

Poor world.

Poor, busy world.

Poor, busy, busy world.

IS the reader seemingly always busy?

HAS the reader made his evaluation based on this life alone?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

Climate-Mongers Will End Up in the Middle of Their Scariest Stories

frightening“And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. “
–Revelation 16:8-9

Many of those who spin “climate change” tales will see their scariest stories come to pass.

OF COURSE, the climate-mongers NEVER dreamed that THEY would be caught in the middle of their creations.

But they will be.

It happens during the last days when God is pouring out His wrath and fury upon the earth and those who dwell on it.

MORE: The Seven Bowl (or Vial) Judgments

Apparently, God has a strong sense of “let-the-punishment-fit-the-crime.”

This is specifically spelled out in Revelation 16.

“And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.”
–Revelation 16:4-7

And so, in the very last days before the return of Jesus Christ, all those who have labored at deceiving the world with tales of climate change and global warming and record high temperatures get a “let-the-punishment-fit-the-crimecomeuppance.

“And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. “
–Revelation 16:8-9

All of the readers who have been totally convinced of man’s ability to destroy God’s creation?

They will get to witness God’s wrath with their own two eyes.

Too late will they realize they have had the wool pulled over their own eyes.

One reason for the end times is to separate those who listen to the world FROM those who listen to God’s Word.

ON which side will the reader be?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
