“Time flies when you’re having fun.”
Like all of the world’s wisdom, this little nugget appears to be true on the surface. It might otherwise be re-phrased as
“Time flies when you’re distracted.”
As always, it is the Bible which has the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth of the matter.
“Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.”
—Colossians 4:5
“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
—Ephesians 5:16
Modern man is constantly busy but, in the end, never accomplishes much of anything worthwhile.
The end times world supplies the lost with a never-ending stream of distractions.

In the meantime: time marches on.
…and on.
…and on…
A sense of urgency should drive the Christian during the times in which we live.
Distractions are a tool of the enemy.
The time is short. It’s later than you think.
Redeem the time.
DOES the reader KNOW his life is not right?
DOES the reader find himself constantly busy, making lists?
DOES the reader place his hope for the future in such activities?
THERE is still time to change direction (repent) and place one’s trust in Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

THE GOSPEL
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
