WHITE HOUSE taunts GOP on climate change – Those who espouse the control mechanism that is “climate change” have nothing but attitude in their corner. Well, and some hidden technology–but mostly it’s just attitude.
CHRIS CHRISTIE: GOP should compromise on climate change – Of course. The capitulations ALWAYS begin with toadies like Christie (remember when the shills in the alternative media promoted Chris Christie as a “conservative?”) and Lindsey Graham selling out the folks at home.

THE GOSPEL
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
-–1 Corinthians 15:1-4 – (h/t:B)

Missouri Governor declares State of Emergency in Ferguson – Another round in the seemingly endless rounds of chaos the mystery of iniquity have planned to usher the USA from a covert antichrist nation into an proud, publicly-declared one.
One suspects the USA also leads the world in the number of antichrist TV preachers, ravening wolves in the pulpit and worldly apostates, but there were no confirming statistics available. The USA is 2nd in number of abortions/year (1.2 million+). Russia–a nation some are holding up as “godly,” is number 1 with over 2 times the abortions per year as the USA. No other countries even come close to Russia and the USA.
“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)? One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master.” “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do.

Am I majoring in the minors? Do you spark conflict, whine, complain, judge, make sarcastic comments, post random nothings, or criticize others? If so, you you’ve lost sight The Great Commission and the amazing opportunity to share the gospel in the online space. Log off. Get into the word. Ask God to anoint your thoughts, eyes, and words.
“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.”

Jesus sparked conflict. It’s been said that when the apostle Paul entered a town, either revival or a riot broke out. Jesus would fail this worldly article’s test. So would Paul.

Chris Christie calls for more aggressive foreign policy – Is Christie the Strong Leader Americans are being taught to hunger for after the 8 years of Barack Obama playing the part of President MomJeans? It’s strongly suspected that the next president is being set up to lead America into foreign adventures.
The Corporate Media and Barack Obama have taught Americans to despise metrosexuals as leaders. Barack Obama has played the part of the preening, arrogant 21st century Jimmy Carter wonderfully–he really does deserve an award for acting. But there is still plenty of time left for something to go awry and for Obama to exacerbate the situation–priming frustrated Americans to elect a No-Nonsense Strong Leader. Then, Americans will cheer as Mr. No-Nonsense takes on the Muslims in the Middle East.
The Five Biggest Lies about Liberalism – Written by a “conservative”–or one playing the part. The Corporate Media churns out articles like this 24/7 every day, day after day. Their purpose? To further the false dichotomy of Conservative vs Liberal. This splits the country–at least the part of the country that identifies even casually with politics–into two opposing camps. The sad reality of the entire situation: both groups always have a zillion ready reasons why they are ineffective and cannot accomplish what they had previously promised, vowed, solemnly swore, etc..
Except when they are fundraising–then all doubt is gone! If only the donors will open their wallets, great and glorious things might be accomplished (through them, of course) for the Land of the Free. The heavy hitters of both sides alternately threaten/promise and the other side uses what they say to raise great wads of cash in order to prevent the other side from carrying through with their widely-promoted threats.
As the day draws near and we are barreling toward a certain and inevitable judgment, I’ve found myself contemplating what the judgment of God looks like more often than I would like. It is not merely a philosophical or intellectual exercise, but a true and honest searching, especially in light of the fact that everywhere you turn you have preachers and pastors calling one thing or another the judgment of God, then summarily retract their statement and apologize for their insensitivity the following day.
How can we define the judgment of God? Will we know it when we see it? Will it look like what we’ve always expected it to look like, or will it be something wholly unprecedented?
Saving Marriage – Marriage has been in trouble. How long until “something else” replaces marriage? When that “something else” occurs, look out. Will God allow it to get to that point? Is it to that point already?
20 Interesting facts with sources – The Internet has become a ghetto of interesting fact websites. The majority of these sites recycle the same “facts”–a great many which simply are not. This site is different: it provides sources for its facts. That was a novel enough approach to warrant a link.
IHOP isn’t your regular Sunday morning church, and neither are its off-shoots. How many churches do you know that have armed guards and escort folks who are asking questions, off of the premises? Isn’t the entire foundation of Christianity based upon a “seek and ye will find” premise? That doesn’t seem to apply at the International House of Prayer, where if ye seek ye will be thrown out by thy armed security guards. Something’s wrong with this picture.
Members of these groups believe they have been hand-selected by God to pray in the Apocalypse, the Second Coming of Christ and become a raised up End-Times army. They are taught to expect opposition from those that are not chosen of God. The greater the opposition, the greater the proof they are on the ordained path.
Former member, Beth Cavete, blogged this: “To discern IHOPKC’s fruit, you need to track its impact. Not its entrants. Despite all their protests, Tyler and Bethany Deaton are IHOPKC’s fruit. After almost a decade of faithful ingestion of their teachings, Tyler’s blog was in its doctrinal skeleton, pure IHOPKC doctrine. The perverse “cult” was formed years after their whole-hearted jump into IHOPKC teaching, doctrines, and practices. THIS CANNOT BE IGNORED. The bright new faces are not IHOPKC’s fruit, the state of the faithful adherents over years are.”
This is the highjacking of Christianity which is taking place before the eyes of the people who sit in the pews of American Christian churches. Self-appointed self-anointed “apostles and prophets” are poised for a takeover of the Church. The Bible foretold it. Take heed.
Historical Accuracy of the Bible revealed – Although it should be pointed out that one’s faith–contrary to the contention in this article–should not be based on whether men consider the Bible “historically accurate.”
“To be divinely inspired, a book must be historically accurate.”
Validating the Bible by holding it up to the flawed measurements of men (history–which has proved to be very elusive) is a recipe for disaster. The Bible is validated as the Word of God and is the measurement by which one can validate the truth of history. Not vice versa. Using the world’s measuring sticks puts one at the mercy of the world–of which the author may or may be aware.

Evolution, Quantum Physics and the New Age/New Spirituality – The link is repeated because this writer noticed a few hours ago that one social media site had a category for submissions titled “Astrology/Physics.” Isn’t that odd? That spirituality and science would be so blatantly linked together? That just happens to be the subject of the linked article.
NORTH KOREA: Kim Jong Un ‘elected’ with 100% of the vote – By pointing out the comical, Third World propaganda of other countries, the media implies that all propaganda will be able to be easily detected by super-smart Americans.
Rand Paul wins CPAC straw poll – Media darling Ted Cruz 2nd; Jeb Bush 3rd, Sarah Palin a distant 4, Chris Christie 5 – Here’s what the media traditionally does: 1-2 years from the start of the primaries, the Corporate Media feature the longest shots and build them up as if they had a chance while pretending they matter.
Take an entire week’s worth of solid national coverage and even Donald Trump can appear to be other than a sad little media clown.
CPAC is one of those manufactured events which have zero significance outside of the auditorium in which this (high dollar) show takes place. The Corporate Media covers CPAC the way that the media traditionally covers such events: the conservative media writes big wet kisses and the liberal press boo and hiss loudly. BUT, in the end, the event gets plenty of coverage–including CPAC’s mostly-forgotten-as-soon-as-its-conducted straw poll.
In 2013-14,Chris Christie, who has no support outside of his payroll window and Ted Cruz, this election cycle’s conservative bulldog, have garnered the most early media attention. If history is any indicator, Ted Cruz is being built up only to be let down. Jeb Bush or Sarah Palin seem to be the favorites, if history is any guide. With almost 32 months until the 2016 elections, Jeb Bush is probably the favorite–although unless one has seen the script, one really won’t know until 2016.Maybe it’ll be Bush-Palin–especially if that ticket plays after some type of large American setback, foreign or domestic?
The entire nominating process is one big media show, consisting of events that are easily manipulated: polls, charts showing money raised, debates, interviews and appearances before panels and captive audiences. Voting is almost an afterthought and only serves to confirm whatever narratives the media is churning out that day.
Is Ben Carson the sleeper candidate of 2016? – No he is not. Sorry. But in 2014, Ben Carson–if only for a few weeks or a month–will be given media attention that he won’t be able to beg, borrow or steal come late 2015 or 2016, right before the primary voting begins. In fact, by 2016, Ben Carson may be in a completely different line of work other than politics.
How about John McCain apologize to the American people for being a puppet boy? While we’re at it, how about everyone who holds down a political position in Washington DC issue blanket apologies and resignations? That would be a start.
Is the blockbuster film “Son of God” biblical? – The author of this piece can’t be called a Christian apologist. He’s found a new calling: a Hollywood apologist, explaining why it’s not a bad thing that the movie and the Bible differ on so many points. And the author wants readers to not only keep his pro-Hollywood arguments in mind for this movie, but for ALL the coming Hollywood Bible movies. Has he seen these movies? Then how can he defend what he has not seen?
Forget bird flu. The real pandemic is among those claiming to be Christians who talk out of both sides of their mouths.
“While the Bible must be held in the highest regard and treated with the utmost respect, we should never treat any rendition or adaptation of the Bible on par with God’s revealed Word. Son of God is meant to point people to the Bible, not replace it.”
There are modern-day miracles in 2014. One example: It’s a wonder the author’s lips aren’t in traction after the vertigo-inducing flip flops in that mouthful.
Here’s a question for the author: which Bible is Son of God pointing people to: “God’s revealed Word” or the rendition portrayed in the movie? What if moviegoers believe that what the movie says is really in the Bible? Should we be concerned or is it all good?
Mexican Drug Lord, Thought Dead in 2010, Is Reported Killed – Historically, there is a particular group of people who fake their own deaths to escape the responsibility of their actions. This group spans the intelligence, financial and crime spheres–but it is not limited to these fields of influence.
“The woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has ever been before.”
—Albert Einstein
Interesting for a couple of reasons.
1- Why would anyone be interested in what Albert Einstein had to say about women? There’s no evidence that Albert Einstein had any special insight into women or their issues–which are always portrayed in the Corporate Media as completely separate from the rest of humanity’s issues.
2- What Einstein had to say about women actually carries no more weight than what the Three Stooges had to say.
3- Why is it assumed that the “…places no one has ever been before” are good places? Most likely they are not good places. Maybe that’s the reason “no one has ever been there before?”
4- As usual, what the Bible says completely contradicts Einstein.
“Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.”
—Jeremiah 6:16
Whatever the Corporate Media is claiming, figure the truth to be in the opposite direction.
If the Corporate Media is warning of impending doom, is it because they want to give readers a heads-up? Is it because they care for the unwashed masses and want to warn them? Or are they doing what they always do: manipulating information to herd people to where they want them to go?
There are bits and pieces of the truth to be found in the Corporate Media, but the process of finding them is akin to panning for gold. Prepare to invest a lot of time to find the occasional nugget of truth buried in the slag piles of disinformation, propaganda and increasingly, outright lies.
Michael Swift’s Gay Manifesto – (h/t:J) First published in February 1987 and entered into the Congressional Record. Interesting for a couple of reasons. 1- This obviously was published to stoke feelings of anger, repulsion and fear. 2- Was it written by a homosexual? Two-part answer.
A- Most likely. BUT, it was posted by a homosexual whose allegiance was only secondarily to homosexuality.
B- Where was the author’s primary allegiance? A tip-off is in the penultimate line of the screed.
“We too are capable of firing guns and manning the barricades of the ultimate revolution.”
“…the ultimate revolution” was the title of a 1962 speech by NWO puppet, Aldous Huxley, given at the University of California, Berkeley. In the speech, Huxley admitted that his novel “Brave New World” and George Orwell’s “Nineteen Eighty-Four” were not pieces of fiction, but were two different blueprints for controlling the population in a coming New World Order police state.
Orwell’s vision in Nineteen Eighty-Four was a more traditional view of controlling the population using terror, surveillance and heavy-handed coercion by a government which had a monopoly on lethal force.
Huxley’s vision was very different. As he explained in his speech at Berkeley, a government can only use terror to control a population for a short period of time. At some point, there has to be a measure of cooperation by the controlled population in order for a long-term regime to be effected. In an efficient, long-term prison state, people have to consent to what is happening to them. Huxley called controlling the population using techniques other than sheer force and coercion “The Ultimate Revolution.”
Whoever the real author of the Gay Manifesto was, by the tone and wording of the piece, he was in fact most likely a New Age/New World Order bot first and primarily–and a homosexual, second.
And God loves homosexuals and New Age/New World Order workers: he sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for their sins and make a way for them to be forgiven and enter heaven.
Yes, God loves every sinner–right up until the moment they die. Then the Perfect Judge must judge perfectly.
Robert Proctor doesn’t think ignorance is bliss. He thinks that what you don’t know can hurt you. And that there’s more ignorance around than there used to be, and that its purveyors have gotten much better at filling our heads with nonsense.
Robert Proctor is one of the world’s leading experts in agnotology, a neologism signifying the study of the cultural production of ignorance.”
This article explores some of the techniques used to keep Americans in ignorance. Some are used by Big Business; some are used by the Corporate Media. A few are used in this article itself which casts doubt upon legitimate concerns of the opponents of vaccines and ObamaCare.
The article ends up being an entertaining, if misleading piece about the bliss of ignorance, a justification for the Corporate Media’s decades-long role in deceiving Americans about the dangers of smoking and the wonderful value of Corporate Media nonsense which mislead their readers.
All of the indications that Christians are living in the end times are present. In fact, many Christians will proclaim, “We are living in the end times!“
However, their lives proclaim that they they are not living in the last days.
A few observations and thoughts about the New Age, its infiltration into the American Christian Church, Joel Osteen, apostasy, paradigm shifts and other New Age terms being used by Christians and the dangers of compromise.
PARADIGM SHIFT
Paradigm Shift – From a New Age/New Thought site One way to tell is the prominent display of a section titled “Paradigm Shift.”
This is a term which has burrowed itself into the Christian Church over the last 10-20 years, especially in the Purpose-Drive Apostasy of Rick Warren and his mentor, Peter F. Drucker.
(VIDEO) Joel Osteen: A Shift is Coming – Creepy–and not just because it is delivered through the perpetual smile of one of America’s favorite Mainstreamers of Apostasy.
WARNING: An ad for Osteen’s New Age Positive Affirmation CD “I Can” precedes the video. The infiltration of New Age ideas, techniques and practices USING CHRISTIAN TERMS and LABELING appears to be one of the biggest challenges to those who remain loyal to Jesus Christ.
The original pioneer of bringing New Age positive affirmations into the Christian Church preceded Osteen by 40-50 years: Norman Vincent Peale. Maybe that’s one reason, though many Christians bought his books, Peale was heavily promoted by the world and the Corporate Media. Peale was also most likely the first person–and certainly the most famous–to yoke Christianity with psychiatry.
If 2 Corinthians 6;15 were taken seriously by the American Church, much New Age heresy–indeed, heresies in general–would be stopped in its tracks.
“And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?”
—2 Corinthians 6:15
Alas, professing Christians give any number of reasons to dismiss this verse while compromising with the very forces seeking the destruction of Christianity.
Compromise is so insidious, it’s not even noticed as such by those engaged in it.
ONE EXAMPLE: This writer was asking questions on a forum a few months ago: about the supposed third Jewish temple, about Christ’s “once and for all sacrifice,” and about whether God would return to the Old Covenant during the Tribulation. A pastor replied that “parts of the Old Covenant would be in force during the Tribulation.” When asked where in the Bible it says that Jesus’ sacrifice will be overturned and the Old Covenant restored, the pastor asked “Where in my reply do you see all of that?” When pointed to his “parts of the Old Covenant would be in force” and asked what that could possibly mean, the man basically changed the subject.
The man never even realized what he was saying. Compromise is extremely deceptive and insidious.
Christians were warned that, in the end times, apostasy would flourish among those with Christ on their lips.
“When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.”
—Luke 13:25-17
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?”
—Matthew 7:22
“Therefore you shall have night without vision, and you shall have darkness without divination; the sun shall go down on the prophets, and the day shall be dark for them.”
Revelation recounts the church at Laodicea, which thought it was doing God’s work.
The Laodiceans didn’t arrive at their infamous condition overnight. Since the church was not completely dead in Revelation 3, there surely were those along the way who tried to warn the Laodicean church. It wasn’t that the Laodicean Church was wicked–far from it. It was that this Church made so many compromises with the world, it was hard to distinguish it from the world.
Most likely, compromise wasn’t even recognized by the Laodiceans as such while it was occurring–which is why it took a warning from Jesus to call it to their attention.
History tells us that not even a warning from Jesus Himself could save the Laodicean church.
The Muslim Turks captured Laodicea in 1119. The city itself was destroyed in the 13th century during the Turk and Mongol invasions.
What will save the individual from apostasy? Paul has one answer.
“For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.”
—1 Corinthians 2:2
Apostasy is not coming. Apostasy is not imminent.
Apostasy is here, in the New Age Laodicean Church of Joel Osteen’s America.
And truly, what’s most tragic about the whole situation is that those dancing around appear completely unaware of the golden calf in the room.
Bridal Eschatology – Initially, apostasy and false prophets are only concepts when reading about them. However, when someone one knows mentions that a friend of theirs is entangled in IHOP and its unbiblical teachings, the concepts become more immediate. When others one knows begin repeatedly to use the terminology, it becomes more immediate still.
What’s the solution?
The Bible offers rebuke in love and prayer.
“Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.”
—Proverbs 9:8
In these last days, rebuke and reproof are almost universally rejected by those professing Jesus Christ. That leaves earnest, effectual prayer in the name of Jesus.
And so that is where one place one’s faith in these times in which we live.
Irrefutable evidence of Nephilim Giants & Huge compilation of Nephilim in the News!!! – Proof that
1- Not all end times deception comes from the ministers of righteousness working in the Modern American Prophecy Industry;
2- Those who are deceived contribute at least as much to the mix as those knowingly engaging in the deception;
3- There are still those few who believe that excitement lacking in a story can be generated by adding exclamation marks to the end of a headline; and,
4- There isn’t enough time in the day to address all of the deceptions coming from professed Christian sources. Forget the world; it’s those who profess Jesus Christ as Savior who are the main conduits of apostasy during the times in which we live.
This last point is probably the most saddening and disturbing of all with which this writer has to deal.
“We must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.”
—Acts 14:22

CHINA: China’s wealthy are fleeing the country – Seriously: where will they go? Sounds like there’s not much of a prepper movement in the Communist country…
“Do you know who had a birthday today? North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. Hey, come on! Can’t a guy oppress his people without being judged?”
–Craig Ferguson
“Here’s why Kim Jong Un had his uncle executed. According to the official statement, his uncle, quote, had improper relations with several women, was wined and dined at restaurants, was ideologically sick, used drugs, and squandered foreign currency at casinos. That sounds like Dennis Rodman’s Wikipedia page.”

This picture is worth $678 Million – (h/t:B) An email has circulated showing the president and Michelle Obama pictured with the vice-president of a Canadian health care company that has received over $670 million worth of contracts with the US government over the last several years.
Including millions for the construction of the infamous ObamaCare website.
By the greatest of coincidences, that CGI Federal VP–the one pictured in the email–just happens to have graduated with Michelle Obama and ran in some of the same social circles back when they were both Princeton undergraduates.
Small world.
Snopes.com, a “rumor debunking” site labeled this email “Mostly False.” Which is par for the course for Snopes and its ilk. Such sites as Snopes, PolitiFact and FactCheck.org are all masters at what they do: provide cover. They debunk a few trees to ensure that the pruned forest then grows more vigorously.
And so it is with this email and snopes’ response to it.
“Mostly false?!?”
Did Michelle Obama and Toni Townes-Whitley, the VP of CGI Federal, graduate together from Princeton?
Well, yes.
Did Michelle Obama and Toni Townes-Whitley belong to and work for the same social/professional organizations while at Princeton?
Well, yes.
Did Townes-Whitley and her husband get invited to a 2010 White House Christmas party and have her picture taken with the Obama’s?
Well, yes.
Did CGI Federal receive hundreds of millions of dollars in health care contracts from the U.S. government while the Obama’s have been in the White House?
Well, yes.
Did CGI Federal have the contract for constructing the notorious ObamaCare website?
Well, yes.
Do White House visitor logs show that Townes-Whitley visited the White House four times in 2013?
Well, yes.
Did Toni Townes-Whitley contribute any money to Barack Obama that is on record?
Well, yes.
Might there be other contributions which weren’t on the record–something that has been known to happen among former acquaintances when million-dollar contracts get discussed?
Snopes “debunked” one fundraising claim made by the email (it could not find any record of a large contribution in an online database) so it labeled the entire premise “mostly false”–which is close enough for most Americans in a hurry.
This writer is not a big fan of email forwards. Many are limited hangouts constructed by the very ones the emails purport to expose. Such emails would not be effective damage control tools unless other tools such as compliant “debunking” sites like snopes.com existed.
One could spend the entire week doing nothing else but debunking what appears on Snopes, FactCheck.org and PolitiFact.
But they are only a few tiny cogs in a many-wheeled machine.
“Critics are accusing President Obama of having attention deficit disorder. He responded to the accusation by saying, “That is ridiculous. Look, a bird!”
–Conan<
Members of Congress won’t read this bill – “This bill” refers to the budget bill. It’s suspected that few congressmen ever did read the legislation for which they voted. The philosophy of much of the political class is “Life is too short.”
As in “Too short to spend any time reading this nonsense.”
This is how elite power politics works. You get caught and you “apologize”–not for your behavior, but for other people’s reactions to what you did or did not do. The press helps you out by describing you as “humbled” or “humiliated” or “shamed.”
Which is amusing: one would not be in the political power elite if one was capable of feeling shame.
The young and college-aged still pretend they are preparing for the America of 1985. The jobs their colleges promised them are not worth the paper their diplomas are printed on.
And how many boomers still think that 90% of society’s ills can be solved if “Those lazy people would go get a job!”
The reality of 2014 America: there are scant jobs–most of the good ones have been eliminated except for the connected few–and there will be even less of them as the year goes on.
It doesn’t get better. It only gets worse. Much worse.
A federal disaster declaration has been issued for a West Virginia chemical spill that may have contaminated tap water and prompted officials to order residents in nine counties not to bathe, brush their teeth or wash their clothes.
Statement from the Secretary of State’s office (the SoS is running for US Senate)
“I urge all of our citizens who live in the affected areas to remain calm and follow the instructions coming from health officials and emergency crews,” Secretary Tennant said. “This is a very difficult time for this region, because for the time being we cannot depend on a steady and safe supply of a precious resource. I also urge everyone who lives in these areas to share their water with their neighbors if they have any to spare, and check on elderly family members and neighbors. West Virginians care about each other, and I am confident that our compassion will show once again as we all face a very trying time together.”
This fits nicely with the “water is the new gold” theme that the Corporate Media has been pushing for some time now.
In 2014 America, it’s all about not being held accountable for one’s actions. Abortion is having someone else paying the ultimate price for one’s decisions–and then getting angry if someone else has the bad manners to point it out.
“Here’s something that goes against everything you’ve been taught. A new study says that being overweight actually extends your lifespan instead of shortens it. You know what that means? Instead of getting on Jenny Craig, go back on Sara Lee.”
–Jay Leno
“In Hong Kong, the man considered to be the father of the Kung Fu movies has passed away. His last words came after his lips had already stopped moving.”

“But I totally get it. If you’re not into me, that’s your problem and you’re going to have to work that out with professionals,”
So if you’re not thrilled turning on your TV set and seeing this woman naked at random times, then you have a “problem”–a :mental’ problem”?
Of course, “mental problems” were a favorite excuse used by the Soviet authorities to put away dissenters. Americans will be hearing much more in the near future about “mental problems” from people with whom they disagree.
Fascists the world around think and act alike–it makes no difference if they’re dressed in camo and a Che beret or tricked out in Hollywood glad rags. If you disagree with them, you’re the enemy and you are to be shut up. This was the apparent mindset behind producer Judd Apatow’s browbeating response to the same reporter.
If Apatow ever loses his Jollywood gig, he’s got the skillz to run some Third World dictator’s Ministry of Compliance. Even the questioning of nudity on the TV show was enough to get Apatow–who the Corporate Media once hyped as “fresh” and “cutting edge”– frothy at the mouth.
“That was a very clumsily stated question that’s offensive on it’s face, and you should read it and discuss it with other people how you did that, It’s very offensive.”
They always dress up appealing to lust in pretty Free Speech clothes. Actually, it’s one of the few times these types ever see the usefulness of putting clothes on anything in public.
But, whatever they insist, it’s still shedding one’s duds to attract attention: It’s the idea behind both Playboy and seedy strip clubs.
The mystery of iniquity is a strict mistress: there’s a price to be paid for fame and fortune and Judd Apatow is paying it.
And that is how Apatow has devolved into nothing more than just another Al Goldstein retread.
“You know what’s going on in Las Vegas this week? The CES. That stands for Consumer Electronics Show. It’s a huge convention where they unveil the latest TVs, gadgets, and electronic doo-dads. CES is basically the Super Bowl for nerds.
Basically, CES is where they unveil technology that 20 years from now we’ll be laughing at for being so out of date.”
–Craig Ferguson
This joke prompted a recollection by this writer.
Was in Indianapolis about 25 years ago for a speaking engagement in the convention center connected to the old RCA Dome. Wandered the dome–watched the Colts practice–killed time before the next meeting; stumbled upon a midwestern technology show. Inside, the high-tech gadgets of 1989 were being displayed, hawked and promoted.
The most futuristic of any of the office machine technology was a fax machine which used plain copy paper instead of rolls of thermal paper commonly used at the time.
The price tag?
$5000.
For a fax machine.
A lesson for the youth so in love with today’s technology. In 20 years–if we’re still here–people will mock you for using your “cutting edge” iPhone or whatever must-have, latest, hippest, coolest, technology with which you’re now so enamored.
The Iron Law of Electronics Technology: What’s cutting edge today is outdated in 10 years and scorned in 20.
NASA telescope captures “Hand of God” photo – IF it were the real hand of God, it’s doubtful that NASA’s telescope could capture it. It’s also a certainty that NASA would have never released the photo.
End Times Prophecy Report HEADLINES

[Covering the period January 7-9, 2014]
And OPINION
After a short, work-related break, here’s today’s news. Abbreviated Tuesday and Wednesday versions were contemplated, but instead: here’s a BIG THURSDAY report!
“The Winter Olympics are around the corner. President Vladimir Putin says people will be allowed to protest the Winter Olympics as long as they stay in a designated protesting zone. When they asked where the zone is located Putin said, “Poland.”
–Jimmy Fallon
“In advance of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, the Russian government announced that, contrary to popular belief, people in Russia will be allowed to protest. But only in a special protest zone — known as “Siberia.”
–Jay Leno
Rasmussen Employment Index rises – Clever. This ‘index’ measures ‘worker confidence.’ That is not the same as “jobs.” That’s why the Corporate Media (Rasmussen) can claim “the employment picture is getting better!” when more people are out of work. Again, clever.
“The Supreme Court has halted gay marriages in Utah. The Supreme Court said that in Utah marriage is still a sacred bond between a man and his six wives.”
–Conan
When I tell my dog to “Fetch!” I don’t ask him to read what’s on the Frisbee. I tell him and he does it. It’s the same with congressmen and their string-pullers.
“Today President Obama invited unemployed Americans to the White House for a discussion about income inequality. Because if there’s one way to show sympathy for the unemployed, it’s to invite them to a giant white mansion that you get to live in for free.”
–Jimmy Fallon
This week’s Scandal of the Week is brought to you by NJ governor, Chris Christie.
Governor Chris Christie, “BridgeGate Scandal” – Just another of the inconsequential controversies to which the media continually treats the American public. Nothing much ever happens from these “scandals.” There’s so many of them that most can’t even remember last week’s dirty laundry.
Make no mistake: it’s not because the countless scandals and “gates” are not important. They are. It’s not because the actors are usually guilty. They are. Then why are these scandals more of a distraction these days?
Because there are usually no consequences beyond the political perp resigning from office–if that.
Big deal.
Then why all of the media attention?
One reason: like it or not, leaders are a reflection of the society they represent. Voters can moan all they want about the criminal who represents them, but sorry: he’s just a reflection of American society at large. No better, occasionally worse.
Reporting 24/7 on the antics of the political cartel is a form of inoculating the American public to the crime, corrosion and corruption that surrounds them. This societal sludge pit is mirrored in their political class.
After awhile, a defense mechanism kicks in. Americans tend to shut down the constant barrage of sleaze being slung at them by the Corporate Media’s scandal reports. While society waxes worse and worse, the people forced to live in such a cesspool retreat into sports, video games and social media. This sad situation also contributes to the “Everyone is doing it–even our leaders!” mentality.
And that’s one of the reasons we’re seeing more scandals and less results from the constant reporting of them.
Remember back in January 2010, when conservatives were soooooo in love with New Jersey’s Chris Christie that they were talking about ‘Christie for Prez’ within days after he was elected governor of America’s Most Corrupt State (and the title of Most Corrupt State is such a competitive one!)?
What’s changed since then? Has Christie changed?
No, he’s still the same Big Government, Big Pizza-loving guy that he’s always been. Then what’s changed?
The thing that always changes: voters get acquainted with the pig in the poke they buy every four years from the Corporate Media. The media hypes one of two cartel members; voters pick one of the two as “their sweetheart” without knowing anything more than what the media has told them.
It’s the political equivalent to the bait-and-switch con. There are a LOT of con games that politics and the media engages in, but that’s another article…
“First lady Michelle Obama is staying at Oprah’s house in Hawaii this week. Oprah told her housekeeper to make sure Michelle has clean linens at all times — then Stedman said, “Yeah yeah, heard you the first time.”

A Quick Lesson in Why the Christian should not fear the future
The Bible says much to the believer about overcoming fear. Fear and doubt are things that should be foreign to the true Christian. Here’s reasons why.
“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
—Philippians 1:21 (h/t:B)
“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
—Matthew 10:28
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
—2 Timothy 1:7
“Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
—2 Corinthians 5:6-8
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”
—1 John 4:18
Common Core: Life in the Emerging Police State – (h/t:ACC) This might be a good time to remind new readers that there are no political solutions to spiritual problems. For those that understand this, the next reaction is usually one that takes place from on the knees.
“Be very careful with this cold weather. Why is it so cold now? It’s that chill, that blast of cold air that’s still coming off Michelle Obama.”
–David Letterman
WEATHER REPORT: Cold on Tuesday, Warming on Wednesday and warmer on Thursday.
TIP FOR NEWS JUNKIES: If you take a break for a day or two, you’ll find that nothing has changed. Really. If one takes a break for a week or two, the same result is suspected. Oh, things will continue to wax worse and worse–but they will do so whether you read about them or not…
“Sen. Ted Cruz acknowledged late Monday that he probably has been a lifelong Canadian, and vowed to renounce that citizenship now that he realizes he’s had it.”
Presently, Cruz is eligible to run for the Canadian Parliament, not president.
Just as it made no difference to Obama’s supporters, this will likely make no difference to the Cruz swooners.
Remember 2-year poster child for Where Are They Now? Senator Scott Brown (R-MA)? Pretend moderate Brown oh-so-briefly won the pretend hearts of the Corporate Media’s pretend conservative commentators, as well as the media kisses of those in the Corporate Alternative Media.
Voter fraud helps explains the abject debasement of The DC (Den of Corruption).
The American people have had the illusion of control at the federal level. NOW, it’s the state and federal level. In many locales, the illusion is complete.
Wake up, Grow up, and Stand up – People are, however late to the game, waking up. IF ONLY they had “woken up” 30 or 40 years ago, when perhaps something might have been done. But 30 or 40 years ago, for the vast majority of Americans, the Good Times were still Rolling. Who cares about evil when I’VE got a good job, two weeks vacation and nice home?30 or 40 years ago, the problems didn’t affect them. Now, they do affect them–and now, suddenly, we all have to DO something.
Now? They beat the air with their tiny fists and try to make sense of why their world has fallen down all about them. The following words of Chris Hohnholz, DOMA Declared Unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, are just as applicable to the situation American Christians find themselves in today as they were when written concerning the demise of DOMA.
Christian, if you are staring at the TV right now, wringing your hands over this decision, remember this, God is still God and He is still on His throne. You have not been called to rescue a nation from bad politics. You have been commanded to preach the gospel to a lost and dying people. There are souls today that are rejoicing over this decision because it frees them to further pursue the sins of the flesh. Other rejoice because they see it as another nail in the coffin of Christian principles. Even more will just see it as a necessary change to everyone’s personal morality. Yet, none fully realize they are in rebellion against their Lord and King. They do not comprehend the wrath and judgment to come. My question to you is, do you care more about this decision because it makes your life more difficult, or because it reveals the heart of a people in desperate need of salvation in Jesus Christ? Let us be busy about our Father’s business. Let us be preaching the gospel.
There is no political solution for a spiritual problem. It doesn’t matter how many Bible verses one tries to explain away: this only confirms that the problem is spiritual. Christians are supposed to be “in this world, not of it.” Yet, so many are neck-deep in the world and are calculating what they must do in order to maintain that position as their world collapses.
Therefore, they will decide FOR what feels good to their flesh–all the while trying to justify their decision with a Bible verse wrenched out of context. Better that they should come clean with themselves. THEN, they would only have to concern themselves with the consequences of “rebellion” and “pride”–instead of adding “self-deceived” to the mix as well.
REBELLION! Americans demand ObamaCare spending halt – The days of Americans demanding anything is just about over. Sadly, it will take some very harsh teachings before that lesson is driven home. However, the calls for “revolt,” “rebellion” and other self-help tips will continue to mount.
There is no political solution for a spiritual problem.
Defy, disobedience – Tea Party site beating the “Defy/revolt” drums. This meme has nearly reached the level of “hot topic.” When that happens, it will be covered by the Corporate Media in a variety of ways, beginning with “This is what others are saying” pieces. Then will come the “What do you think?” and “Which side are you on?” articles which will legitimatize both sides–at least in the eyes of some.
This meme has nowhere to go but UP! Especially as the effects of ObamaCare hit home to the clueless. These are the people who will then yell very loudly and insist “I’m not doing that!” “No way!” These are the same people who have lived in denial as things reached this point by insisting “They can’t do that!”
They can. They will. They already have. And believing that bands of spoiled, pampered Americans–who couldn’t be bothered when they might have made a difference–are going to “take back their country” now that the evil is affecting them?
Rachel Held Evans and the New Liberals – From the beginning, there has always been a battle over what Christianity is. In the early church, one battle was with the gnostics. That battle is not over, it has merely shifted. From the weighty essay:
“It was once popular in the Christian Church, as you might discover by reading Christianity and Liberalism by conservative Christian stalwart J. Gresham Machen, that the fundamentals of Christianity (including Scripture alone and faith alone) were questioned by those who wished to make experience the primary aspect of Christianity. This was the modernism that the Christian faced in those who denied that the truth of Christianity could be talked about simply by teaching the propositions of the Scriptures and the theology as demonstrated by (any of) the historical confessions of the faith.
Instead, these liberals opined, the Christian worldview can better be explained by leaving logic, reason, and the intellect out of the core of Christianity. No creed, but Christ, they would declare. This of course was the predecessor to the contemporary claim that Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship. It was against this modernism that Machen fought for the historical Christian faith.”
Using these words as an introduction, the author tackles clever Rachel Held Evans, who is one of the pied pipers for the flood of Christians moving outside of the church precisely because they are ignorant of basic doctrines. The Bible informs us that these former Christians will not remain in a vacuum, but will eventually migrate to the coming one-world religion.
But first has come the tearing down of the logical and systematic understanding of the Bible. “What I know to be true” has been replaced by “what I feel to be true.” With the gnostics, it was “What I know that you don’t know is true.”
Enter R.H. Evans, in who “What I know to be true” is replaced by “What I don’t know to be true might be okay–or not. In the end, this is Christianity.”
The woman and the belief system she represents offers a moving target. It also offers a different gospel–actually, an entirely different religion.
IF the reader has the time and is not afraid to tackle meaty, densely-reasoned pieces, this will be a joy to read.
Missouri River Water an option for KS – Although it’s been covered here before, it’s important. Some articles about the Ogallala Aquifer, providing narratives for why the much of the Midwest will not have access to water in the near future. To find out what’s really taking place, one has to go back more than a few months.
There will be water – 2008 Business Week article about billionaire T. Boone Pickens and Ogallala.
“T. Boone Pickens thinks water is the new oil—and he’s betting $100 million that he’s right.”
53% think ObamaCare will increase deficit – And most of the American public is still blissfully unaware of ObamaCare’s boot to their heads. The noose continues to tighten.
Break a Sugar Addiction in one week using 3 simple steps – (h/t:L) The forces of the anti-sugar have been strong over the last couple of weeks. But besides that, there’s something else at work here–right from the very first sentence.
“Refined sugar is a drug that is similar to opiates in its power to become addicted to it.”
Everything that is today called an “addiction” USED to be referred to as the “sin nature” or “the flesh.” When it was “sin,” the remedy was Jesus Christ. Now that those substances and behaviors are addictions, the remedies are completely man-centered “solutions” involving will-power, self-help and government-funded programs.
Chocolate, drugs, pornography, sugar, shopping, computer, alcohol, smartphone, whatever… The difference is in the terminology.
If it’s “the flesh,” we are responsible; if it’s an addiction? Well, there are those who would have believe that you are no longer exercising free will. It’s beyond your control. You have lost your free will.
addiction: noun \ə-ˈdik-shən, a-\ -compulsive need for and use of a habit-forming substance (as heroin, nicotine, or alcohol) characterized by tolerance and by well-defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal; broadly: persistent compulsive use of a substance known by the user to be harmful.
That’s one reason why so many activities and substances have had the “addiction” tag slapped on them.
What is Classic Homeopathy? – Homeopathy is a system of alternate medicine which has become more popular as traditional medicine has become more corrupt.
Beware of Homeopathy – Eating healthy is one thing, depending upon a particular physical regimen for ‘energy,’ emotional and mental transformation crosses the line into something else. Beginning in the 1980s, Christians were warned of the connection between homeopathy and the New Age movement.
Which brings to mind the original meaning of the word “glamour.”
“A glamour originally was a term applied to a magical-occult spell cast on somebody to make them believe that something that the spellcaster wished them to believe, including inducing an interpersonal attraction. In the late 19th century terminology, a non-magical item used to help create a more attractive appearance gradually became known as ‘a glamour’.
Over the last three months, this writer has seen three “Christian” T-shirts which have featured blatantly occult imagery. Many Christians buy this merchandise while non-believers laugh at the inside “joke.”
