END TIMES: The LORD will carry out his Will upon the earth.

It’s been observed that Satan doesn’t dispute what the Bible says about what’s to come upon the earth in the end times. The father of lies doesn’t argue with God’s Word.
No, the dragon and his minions rarely ever debate what God says will come to pass.
Instead, they offer alternative versions or they try to discredit God’s Word. To this end, the tremendous promotion of the devil’s version of the end times in such popular works as Late, Great Planet Earth and the Left Behind series have been undertaken.
Close to 100,000,000 copies of the two (and their spin-offs) have been sold. Most of those in the churches know the unbiblical Left Behind version of the end times better than they know what God’s Word actually says.
A revealing example of the way Satan works is offered from the 1998 movie, The Devil’s Advocate.
In the movie, Satan has a son, Kevin. They are discussing what God’s Word says about Satan’s grand schemes for the end times.
Kevin: “In the Bible you lose. We’re destined to lose dad.”
Satan: “Well consider the source son.”
The same happened when the devil tempted Jesus in the wilderness. In his attempts to trip up Jesus, Satan twisted Scripture to fit his alternate view. Jesus answered each temptation with “It is written” and quoted the appropriate Bible verse.
When Jesus quoted the appropriate Scripture, exposing the lie of the devil, Satan did not dispute God’s Word.
Instead, he changed the subject and then, finally left.
Satan has not changed his tactics. His workers of iniquity are ever busy corrupting God’s Word and offering their own scenarios. They rarely dispute the Bible; instead, they try to discredit it and offer their own version of events.
This is particularly true in the churches and in the “discernment ministries” which the enemy has multiplied throughout the earth to do his will.
However, if one does not know the Bible, one then usually takes what is offered as the “truth.” Believers are urged to study the Bible diligently.
This is for the believer’s protection.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Temple of God: What does the Bible say about an end times temple of God? IF a third Jewish Temple is erected, will that be the temple of God referred to by the apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2? Satan has his own version of end times events. This version differs significantly from what can be found in the Bible. There are a few reasons that the enemy has carefully constructed his end times scenario over the last 180-190 years.
1- Satan is a liar and a deceiver.
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.“

2- The end times events in the Bible are events known to NO MAN, “not even the angels.” Satan wants a end times events that he can control. So that he can deceive men.
One end times event which was not in Christian teaching until the last 180 years was the teaching of a Third Jewish Temple being constructed. This was an idea almost totally foreign to Christianity until the writings of John Nelson Darby in 1830.
Darby’s writing languished in relative obscurity until they were picked up by the Christian mass media and HEAVILY PROMOTED BY THE WORLD three separate times in the 20th century.
In 1909, the Scofield Reference Bible picked up Darby’s teaching for use in its notes. Thus, many concepts which had been foreign to Christian eschatology entered into the mainstream of Christianity.
Sixty-one years later in 1970, Hal Lindsey’s Late Great Planet Earth was heavily promoted by the world. It sold 20 million copies and again, the idea of a third Jewish temple became embedded in the (American) Christian consciousness.
Twenty-seven year later, the Left Behind series sold sixty million plus copies, inspired several movies and American Christianity was finally sold on the idea that there would be a third Jewish temple arise in Jerusalem.
TRAMPLING ON THE ONCE-FOR-ALL SACRIFICE OF JESUS CHRIST
Was the sacrifice of Jesus “once for all”?
“By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”

When Jesus shouted “It is finished” was He telling the truth?
“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Will believers return to the Old Covenant in defiance of the what the Word says? Will there be another method of salvation for the Jews outside the sacrifice of Jesus Christ? Will there be a return to the Old Covenant, a covenant that was “ready to vanish away” 2000 years ago?
“In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.”

Those who teach the construction of a third Jewish temple point to 2 Thessalonians as their proof.
“…and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”

Here’s a few questions.
Why would the Jews build a third Temple?
What would take place in that building?
Would the sacrifices offered in a third Jewish temple be accepted by a God who sent His Son to die once and for all to pay the price for sin?
Would God’s Word call such a building, which tramples on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, “the temple of God?”
Did Paul use the phrase “temple of God” to mean something other than a Jewish temple?
Yes.
He used the phrase “temple of God” as a metaphor for the Church.
The phrase translated as “the temple of God” is used 4 times by Paul (1 Corinthians 3:16, I Corinthians 3:17, 2 Corinthians 6:16 and 2 Thessalonians 2:4). In the other 3 cases, there is no doubt that Paul is speaking about a spiritual temple – i.e. the body of believers called the church – and not a physical building. That certainly makes it likely that this usage is no different. In fact, the alternative word “hieron” (Strongs #2411) is ALWAYS used in reference to a physical temple (Paul uses it once in 1 Cor 9:13).
So Paul used the word for a spiritual temple: the Church.
The antichrist–rather the false prophet–will rise from the middle of an end times Church and present himself as worthy of worship. Not in the middle of a temple built with human hands; not even in a third Jewish temple built with human hands.
“Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,”

A THIRD JEWISH TEMPLE
NOW, with all that;s been said: will there be a third Jewish temple constructed?
One would certainly think so.
The reader may be asking: The writer just spent some time to demonstrate that there is no third Jewish temple referred to in the Bible. Why then does he suppose that a third Jewish temple will be built?
Because Satan has consistently spent many resources over the last 180 years to ensure the deception of the modern Christian that such a temple will be built–and that events that support the enemy’s timeline will take place.
“And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;”
—Matthew 27:51
When Jesus finished His work on the cross, the veil of the temple (which separated the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place) was rent in two by God.
Will God honor that which He has torn asunder or the men who try to undo His work?
The building of a third Jewish temple in the very secular state called Israel fits Satan’s end times plans. Not the least because he controls the timing of this event.
Sight-walking Christians, who have believed what ministers of righteousness have told them the Bible says, are looking for a third Jewish temple. And they will see a third Jewish temple rise.
But in no case would God’s Word call such a building built by human hands–about which the Bible is completely silent–be called “the temple of God.”.

DECEPTION IN THE CHURCH in an AGE OF APOSTASY
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

All of the blatant twisting of God’s Word that is occurring in the American church has been elevated to a new level: scripture destruction. One of the latest examples is the position that one can take the mark of the beast and be saved.
This teaching is in DIRECT opposition to the Word of God.
(AUDIO) John MacArthur: Take the Mark of the Beast and Still be Saved – This is what happens when teachings are distorted until few can remember what the Bible originally says. Error begets error begets error begets error. Eventually, one ends up with a teaching such as the one here. But to get to this teaching, layer upon layer of false teachings had to be built on a foundation of twisted scripture.
It’s going to get worse–much worse. MacArthur is not the first to say this. The Left Behind series also had an instance of someone “being forced” into taking the mark–and later being saved. There are so many fairy tales masquerading as Christianity. Many are on display in this short five minute audio clip.
“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”

Seems pretty clear, huh? Unless you’re a 2013 American Christian, who is used to inventing “escape clauses” for every inconvenient Bible verse. No vagueness, no waffling, no guessing: take the mark and drink of the wrath of God–forever. Maybe John MacArthur will show up in defense of all who take the mark when God judges them? Wonder who will win that debate?
“And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

In the future, Christians will be buffeted by even more deception and false doctrine than they are now. What’s the answer?
The Bible says one must have a “love of the truth“–not a “love of the convenient” or a “love of comfort” or a “love of what popular teachers teach.” Our God is a loving One. His Word will light your way. Ask for wisdom; He is not stingy.

When God abandons a Nation by John MacArthur – When that happens [God Abandoning a nation], some in the pulpit will preach that one can take the mark of the beast and still be saved–like MacArthur and others are doing. Of course one of the biggest boosts to this doctrine was the Left Behind series, where one of the characters denies Jesus, “is forced” to take the mark and yet does “undercover work for God.”
Yeah, that’s what people will tell themselves: “I’ll do some secret work for God! He’ll understand! I’ll repent! No, wait, I don’t have anything to repent of! He’s a loving God, right?”
In the Left Behind books, “forced” to take the mark means “forced to take the mark to stay alive”–as the Bible says many, many, many people alive at the time will do. The Bible is very clear about this–though men are so used to twisting scripture to fit their needs, it will not be so clear to many.

Look up the word APOSTASY. Where do you suppose we got that word? According to Merriam-Webster, it’s from the
“Middle English apostasie, from Late Latin apostasia, from Greek, literally, revolt, from aphistasthai to revolt.”
And while revolt is being preached in the American media and in many American pulpits, it’s not only a revolt against civil authorities.
It’s a revolt against God.
“And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.”

The work of justifying revolt and rebellion is going on right now at thousands of places, both large and small. Many of the ones undermining scripture think they do God’s work.
“The ends justifies the means.”
Sad. My prayer is that God opens their eyes–of at least one or two–before it is too late.

But Americans’ way of life has ALREADY changed drastically over the last 5 years.

GNOSTICISM: Leading Christians astray in the end times.
Strange Fire: The Rise of Gnosticism in the Church – This is a .pdf of a small booklet written in 1991. What was then several small movements have fully infiltrated most churches 20 years later. Sadly, the precepts of gnosticism have been mainstreamed into the churches SO EFFECTIVELY that many Christians think these teachings are Christian.
Sin separates–and so does gnosticism.
Sin separates man from God; gnosticism attempts to separate the body of Christ.
How to tell the doctrines of modern gnosticism? There are primarily two ways.
1- Super secret, hidden, newly-revealed knowledge or techniques are offered to Christians; and/or,
2- The Body of Christ is always split into two factions: those who have such knowledge, secrets, techniques and revelations–and those who don’t. Some rapture theories teach that the body of Christ will be torn apart.
Sometimes, pleadings for “unity” accompany doctrines which teach the body of Christ can be split apart.
Will He split His body apart? There’s nothing in the Bible about that.
The indivisibility of the body of Christ is a basic doctrine of Christianity.
Jesus prayed:
“Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.”

“For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.”

Not everyone sitting in a pew is a member of the body of Christ. But all who are members of the body of Christ are joined to Jesus in salvation. We are His very “flesh and bones.”
“And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.”
—1 Corinthians 12:26
“There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

This is the true unity of the church: the unity of the body of Christ.
There will be another unity; a false unity; the unity that those in on a hidden secret enjoy; a unity in another soon to appear.
The false christ will bind people together using the false unity found in gnosticism. This will actually not be “unity” but “conformity.”
In short, Celente always predicts bad stuff. So, when bad things happen, he plays it up like he’s a genius: he’s not shy about trumpeting every right “prediction.”
When good things happen, he moves on in a hurry to the next year’s predictions.
Actually, one could do as well by randomly throwing darts at a board.
But that wouldn’t cost anything. Subscribing to Celente’s newsletter will set one back $99 a year.
TREND: Gerald Celente, while not very accurate, is, at times, entertaining. So, time spent watching him is not completely wasted. Because Celente usually always calls for gloom, his “predictions” of doom are likely to be somewhere in the vicinity of what actually will happen in these last days.
You will NOT hear the gospel of Jesus from Gerald Celente.

The on-screen Jesus-less prayers are apparently a compromise with the show’s producers to reach a broader audience, and father Phil has reportedly insisted that without some kind of prayers, he wouldn’t do the show.
What kind of Christian compromises over something as basic as praying in Jesus’ name?
The kind that is increasingly found sitting in pews of American churches in 2013.
The kind that thinks Duck Dynasty is a good Christian show.
Chew the meat, spit out the bones??? – “I first heard this comment or one similar some time ago. I had just taught a lesson in Bible Study in Matthew 13 about the parable of the yeast. With this bible teaching fresh in my mind, the idea of being able to extract truth from false doctrine, rang the alarm bell.”
Syrian army seals Damascus; prepares ‘martyrs’ – (h/t:T) Complete misuse of the term “martyrs.” The word “martyr” literally means “witness” in Greek. It originally meant those who were willing to lay down their lives as a witness for Jesus. Of course, the world does appropriate this term for its own uses (like in this headline).
Suicide bombers and soldiers are not martyrs. They are not witnesses, they are combatants in worldly wars.
That concept of “martyr” is so foreign in America churches these days. Everyone loves Jesus–unless they’re asked to die for Him. Most American Christians won’t even entertain the idea.
Love, one supposes, does have its limits.
“I’m intended for much greater things! Be reasonable: Would a loving Jesus ask that? That’s not for me. Jesus wouldn’t ask me to die for Him!“
Like so many other millions of Christians have done over the centuries.
Like so many are doing right this minute around the world: 500 per day it’s estimated.
Every three minutes, someone in the world is laying down their life because of their faith in Jesus Christ. Depending upon how fast the reader reads, 1, 2, even 3 people will have died as a witness for Jesus Christ in the time it takes to read this little piece.
These Christians are putting their money where their mouth is. But the American churches think these people who are demonstrating the ultimate love for Jesus are losers. That’s for second-tier Christians who don’t measure up. That’s for Christians who don’t know any better.
“If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:”

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

IF these who are “beheaded for a witness of Jesus” supposedly “convert during a tribulation period” and
IF the “tribulation period is entirely a period of wrath not to be experienced by Christians” (as is commonly taught) and
IF the wrath of God is reserved exclusively for His enemies (Nahum 1:2) THEN
“Living and reigning with Christ” seems an unusual way for God to reward His enemies.
If Christians are not purposed in their hearts now–when times are still relatively good–to what extent they will suffer and/or die if need be for the gospel, then when the time comes, their flesh will be able to talk them into doing things they couldn’t imagine that they’d do.
“God knows my heart. He knows that I’m not really denying Jesus. I’ll make it right later. I’ll make it right the next time. How can God want me to die? No! I need to figure this out. I’ll repent later.”
“Martyrs.” It’s a reality everywhere in the world but in America.
For now.
“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

Jesus wasn’t talking about finding or retaining “life” in this world.
80% of Americans think Congress should decide if USA strikes Syria – Ahhh, yes. 80% of Americans still think that the Feds should follow that quaint idea that the country still has something called the constitution. There IS a document called the constitution. Has it been followed? So many parts of everyday life in America run totally contrary to the US constitution.
But so many of those things that are contrary to the constitution have been around for quite some time. Some of those things were made nice and legal-like by later amendments (like the income tax). Some that couldn’t be legalized were just ignored (such as the suspension of habeas corpus during the Civil War).
Habeas corpus has been ignored today. There are those who have been held in the War on Terror without charges–and there are Americans who have cheered this on when Guantanamo Bay prison opened. Those would be the same Americans who usually declare “They can’t do that!” whenever the government does something contrary to what it claimed it wouldn’t do.White House, Republican senators give up on budget talks – Supposedly, a budget is something that our country operates under. Over the last few years, all pretenses of the USA operating under the constraints of a budget have been eliminated. Budgets are for wimps!
Just some more constitutional baggage that’s been thrown overboard the American ship.
The printing of money is supposedly a responsibility of Congress under our constitution. It’s been 100 years since the Federal Reserve–a private organization–took that responsibility away. Who owns the Federal Reserve?
It’s a secret. So those who believe that a scrap of paper will stop the Feds from doing exactly what they want to accomplish are deluded.
It has never stopped them in the past. It hasn’t stopped them today–ObamaCare is proof of that. It won’t stop them in the future. The constitution is only used when Americans are called upon to fund and to die in a foreign war.
Then we’re told that scrap of paper is worth dying for. We’re told these things by the same leaders who have rendered the constitution powerless.
While we’re on the subject of polls, think back to the summer of 2001. There was no appetite in America for another war in Iraq and a brand new war in Afghanistan. But all it took was an attack on September 11, 2001 and Americans were ready to bomb somebody. Somebody had to die and many didn’t much care who. Somebody was going to pay!
Almost 12 years later, somebody is still paying. We’re fairly sure it’s the wrong somebody. But the reason we’re still at war in Afghanistan has been long forgotten. If there is another “terrorist” attack in America, Syria seems like a convenient enough target. Somebody will pay. Somebody will die.
This time, plenty of Americans will find out that that “somebody” was really them all along.

The US ‘black budget’ is $52 billion – So many things wrong with this article–starting with the headline. If it’s REALLY a black budget, 1) The Washington Post would not know about it; 2) The Washington Post would never print a word about it even IF they did know. IF the Post printed anything factual about the real US black budget, that would be informing the public–which runs contrary to the Post’s obvious reason of existence, which is to misinform the public.
The USA’s black budget likely runs into the multiple trillions.

10% think American race relations are better since Obama elected – Polls serve an important place in the narrative of lies constructed by the Corporate Media. Americans are fed the narratives (scripts) through the Corporate Media outlets (newspapers, TV, radio) and then polls “confirm” what the media outlets have been feeding Americans.
In many Americans’ minds, they have an idea of how the world around them works. This idea bears no relationship to reality in many cases. BUT, they are convinced of their ideas because a lie has been repeated over and over to them and then confirmed. The deception is thick and pervasive.
Sadly, this is nowhere truer than in the American Christian churches.
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

Everyone in America is going to heaven–or is enjoying heaven right here on earth! Wasn’t that what the American Dream was all about? Don’t believe it? America was where the “streets were paved with gold!” But wasn’t that what the Bible says about heaven?
No wonder there’s confusion in the churches today. No wonder there’s problems with the church separating from the world. Who wants to separate from heaven? And if America isn’t quite as heavenly as it was, oh say 10 or 20 years ago? Well, it’s still better than the other places.
