Only God Knows the Heart and Mind

WOLVES IN THE PULPIT: A sign of the times.

WOLVES IN THE PULPIT

“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Jude 1:4

One sure sign we are in the end times are the many wolves who have taken up residence in the pulpits of the churches. But this is, after all, to be expected.

One wouldn’t expect to find a godly man preaching in an apostate church. As evidence, we submit the following passage, taken from a fairly recent TV presentation by one such wolf.
Christians are not a Silent Majority

MORE UNSCRIPTURAL NONSENSE FROM THE WOLVES

From a “revival” preacher.

“The devil knows what’s been placed on the inside of you.”

Really?  Where exactly does it say that in God’s Word, Mr. Wolf?  How would the devil know such a thing?

Sounds like this “revival wolf” has the devil confused with Jesus.  (They do that a lot.)

“And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.”
John 2:25

Maybe he meant the devil knows what you’re thinking?  Does he?  What’s the Bible say about that?

There is nothing in the Bible to suggest that the devil–a created being–is omniscient (all-knowing).  Nothing.

In fact, the Bible states plainly that only God knows the thoughts of man.

“Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;”
1 Kings 8:39

It’s instructive to listen to the pretenders prattle on.  With each word, they give themselves away. This is especially true at the many fake “revivals” being held in the apostate churches.  These events cater to the emotions and are filled with the unbiblical pronouncements of ungodly men and women.

The “revivals” always end with some substitute for preaching the gospel: a call to recite a sinner’s prayer; an altar call; urging those present to raise their hands; handing out pledge cards: in short, anything that can substitute for the gospel is practiced.

In these ways, many who are unconverted are given false assurances that they have experienced a new birth. So now, instead of a lost soul, the world has a lost soul who “feels” like he is saved.

Satan is a tricky fellow.

Of course, those preaching (and looking for) revival in these times are preaching contrary to the Word.

Revival or Apostasy: To everything there is a season

But again, what else can one who knows their Bible expect?
