Witchcraft in the End Times: Popular and Fashionable

Witchcraft in the end times: Popular and growing

“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD”
–Deuteronomy 18:10-12

In the times in which we live, witchcraft, pagans, those who have familiar spirits and the demonic seems to be constantly in the news.

Especially whenever one of the pagan holidays grows near.

Such as the summer solstice.

SO, it appears witchcraft (which has ALWAYS been around–if hidden–in America) is now chic and growing like a weed.

Spellbound: why witchcraft is enchanting a new generation of teenage girls

When Ryan Murphy, the creator of American Horror Story, announced that the third season of the American TV series would focus on witches, he was riding the crest of a wave. Not since the 1990s – the era of Buffy’s geek goddess, Willow Rosenberg, and a scowling Fairuza Balk in The Craft – have witches been so much in demand.

Witchcraft–besides the allure of demonic power and control–is now being marketed as fashionable.

“It’s cool to manipulate forces and people! Don’t you want to get in on fun! Everybody’s doing it!”

And Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has nothing but good things to say about the witch’s stock in trade: herbs, weeds and “healing.” Or did the reader mistakenly believe all of the media attention focused on herbs,  herbal remedies and folk medicine was just a case of bored writers looking for something to write about?

Witchcraft and demonic power are about power and control. It is therefore VERY attractive to those groups which historically lack power and control.

Such as teen-age girls.

And IF so many are now practicing the craft, someone has to supply their notions, potions, creepers and shrubs.

New York’s oldest witchcraft store still casting its spell after 34 years

The carved candles are the shop’s specialty and bestselling item, but the shop also offers a fully stocked apothecary with everything from mugwort to rosehips, an entire binder of custom oils and incense and a large selection of books. Behind a glass case in front of the cash register are a variety of tarot cards and silver occult jewelry, a shelf of statuettes of gods and goddesses of every ilk adorns one side of the shop and behind the front door, a small altar is tucked out of the way of customers’ feet.

As always, no media piece on witchcraft is complete without a swipe at Christians or the “small-minded.”

People have called the shop in the past to tell employees that they are going to hell and are in league with the devil, says Rapp.

OF COURSE, real Christians are NOT to tell anyone–whether they be witches, homosexuals or devil worshipers–they are going to hell.  Believers ARE TO JUDGE (for themselves), but NOT to condemn.

Condemnation is NOT the believer’s task: only God can pass the final judgment.

Witchcraft is certainly coming out of the closet. Part of the public displays of affection for witchcraft and paganism can be traced to video games and their indoctrination of a generation of all things magic, demonic and witchy.

Yes, witchcraft is chic, fashionable–and popular.

Just as the Bible foretold.

“And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”
–Revelation 9:20-21

“Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD’S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.”
–Jeremiah 51:7

“And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”
–Revelation 18:23

HOWEVER, regardless of what many believe: there is no magic.

There are no powers.

There are no magic spells or hexes or potions.

There is only demonic power.  Accessing this power and using it for selfish ends (no matter what humans or their spirits may claim) is the whole purpose of witchcraft and those who access demonic power.

The Normalizing of Illegitimate Supernatural Power in the End Times

ALL who do such things are deceived: believing themselves to be in control of the power they have contacted, they are in fact a slave to it.

Unfortunately for most, this realization comes too late.

IF witches had a love of the truth (instead of a love of control), this deception would be self-evident.

What are believers to do?

PRAY for the witch you know–and they truly are everywhere these days.

PRAY that those little things that bother her may lead her to the truth of God’s Word.

PRAY that she is delivered from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of heaven.

Before it is too late.

“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:”
–Colossians 1:12-13

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
