What Are You Waiting For?

“behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
–2CORINTHIANS 6:2

TO ALL WHO RESIST CHRISTIANITY,  a pertinent question for the times in which we live:

What are you waiting for?

Are you waiting for a better deal?

Does the reader believe he can better-deal God?

Perhaps the reader believes he will get a better deal from Satan?

Of course, Satan will ALWAYS offer a better deal–because Satan ALWAYS lies.  He lied to Jesus when he was tempting Him.  But Jesus KNEW there is NO truth in Satan, so He knew the devil was lying to Him.

Later, Jesus nailed Satan’s character.

Which is a BIG reason why Satan HATES Jesus.

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”
–John 8:44

What are you waiting for?

Is the reader waiting for all of those wonderful times of FUN! he would probably miss out on IF he became a Christian?

(Like the reader’s life is one, long unending merry-go-round of pleasure and enjoyment from the time he wakes up in the morning until the time he shuts his eyes at night.)

Is the reader waiting for what is written in Scripture about the last days to begin happening?

Sorry, by waiting until he can SEE what is written, the reader no longer needs any FAITH that such things which are written will happen.

And FAITH is a requirement of salvation.

” For we are saved by hope [faith]: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?”
–Romans 8:24

Probably one of the SADDEST sounds in ALL of creation will be the wailing and gnashing of teeth of all those whose judgment condemns them to eternal torment.

“The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;  And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
–Matthew 13:41-42

At that time, the most forlorn words EVER will be the answers given to the question:

What were you waiting for?

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

One End Times Beast Already Walks the Earth

The account in Revelation 13 refers to TWO “beasts” which rise to the top of the world’s food chain to do Satan’s bidding in the last days.

In addition, there is some confusion because the term “beast” is also used as a label for BOTH the LAST end times kingdom of men (which rules the whole earth) AND its ruler.  The reader may know which is which by the CONTEXT of the verse. However, there is a GREAT deal of confusion on this point.

Most of what is written in Revelation 13 (and earlier, in Daniel 7) refers to the beast KINGDOM.  The account in Revelation references many of the points related in Daniel 7.

“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? “
–Revelation 13:1-4

“Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea. And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it. And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.”
–Daniel 7:2-6

As was mentioned, there are references to Daniel 7 in the account in Revelation 13.
NOW, Daniel refers to the beast KINGDOM, that last kingdom of men which rules the entire earth in the end times.

“After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.”
–Daniel 7:7-8

An angel from God is later sent to Daniel to explain the meaning of his dream.

“I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things. These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.”
–Daniel 7:16-18

Finally, Daniel asks about the last great beast kingdom.

“Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.”
–Daniel 7:19-22

And this is what Daniel was told about that last great beast kingdom.

“Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time [three-and-one-half years].”
–Daniel 7:23-25

So, according to both Daniel and Revelation, the last great beast kingdom of men shall be DIFFERENT than any and all other kingdoms which came before it: this last great kingdom will rule the WHOLE WORLD. This kingdom will draw its power from the dragon (Satan), primarily from the ten great countries (horns) and the leaders of those countries, which help the beast ruler administer this great kingdom which rules the world.

Traditionally, those who taught the Bible in the churches taught that the whole world would be aware of the last great kingdom and when it arrived.  Although it was unspoken, perhaps they believed that the last, worldwide beast kingdom would make an announcement or something.

A sort of thought experiment for the reader is now presented. This thought experiment is CONTRARY to what the Corporate Media (Satan’s Mouthpiece) has been telling readers for YEARS.

WHAT IF…

  • Instead of the countries which make up the beast kingdom ANNOUNCING TO THE WORLD that they were one great kingdom, those countries SECRETLY cooperated with each other–for YEARS–all the while tightening their grip on the world’s populations?
  • The world’s major countries–instead of being at odds with one another–were REALLY in cahoots–controlling the world’s populations with FEAR of war; with FEAR of nuclear devastation; with the FEAR of an assortment of environmental concerns?
  • The main countries which make up the end times beast kingdom have been in league with each other for about the last 100 years?
  • Those countries have spent the last 100 years tightening their control over the world, the world’s resources and the world’s people?

The Bible declares that one of the main countries which make up the beast kingdom APPEARS to suffer a deadly wound.  A close reader of that passage would discover that when this happens, the beast kingdom is ALREADY in existence–even if MOST of the world’s populations were NOT aware of it.

“And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
–Revelation 13:3

Might this deceptively apparent deadly wounding of one of the main countries be used as an excuse to move the world to an open one-world government?

THEN, the world would become aware of the system which is controlling it.

AND FINALLY, if the reader has followed this little though experiment to its conclusion, he may easily think:

“The last great kingdom of men; the BEAST kingdom is ALREADY in existence.”

In other words:

One of the last days’ beasts NOW walks the earth.

AND if true, the reader will become aware of this worldwide kingdom’s systems of control in the weeks to come.

IF the reader has any thoughts about the one-world government, do they always begin with “coming” or “future“?
HAS the reader ever devoted a few moments to how the world’s countries REALLY work?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

Waiting Until Faith is No Longer Possible

time

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
–Hebrews 11:1

“For we are saved by hope [faith]: but hope [faith] that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?”
–Romans 8:24

There is no better illustration of one of the end times’ greatest dangers than Romans 8:24 and Hebrew 11:1.

God’s Word informs the reader that 1) we are saved by FAITH, while Romans 8:24 warns the reader that it is NO FAITH to see that which is hoped for.

IN FACT, Romans 8:24 declares that what can seen requires NO FAITH to believe–BECAUSE it can be seen.

THIS is a particular snare for the MILLIONS who have adopted the attitude, “I’ll wait until I see some of that Bible stuff take place, THEN when it begins happening, I’ll throw down for Jesus so fast it will surprise folks!”

This line of reasoning FAILS as a method to achieve salvation in the last days–or ANY time.

IF the reader can see Jesus Christ returning to earth in the midst of the atmosphere, preparing to obliterate his foes at the battle at Armageddon, THEN the reader needs NO FAITH that Jesus Christ will return to earth and wipe out His enemies at the battle of Armageddon.

“For we are saved by hope [faith]: but hope [faith] that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?”
–Romans 8:24

Alas! It is too late for that person.

IF the reader can see the great end times calamities happening around him– which the Bible foretold–

THEN the reader needs NO FAITH that those calamities will strike the earth and those living upon it.

“For we are saved by hope [faith]: but hope [faith] that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?”
–Romans 8:24

Alas! It is too late for those who had a “wait and see” attitude about such events.

IF the reader can see the man of sin (false prophet; false Messiah) controlling the peoples of the earth and moving from one scheme to another–while deceiving end times mankind through the use of satanic and demonic power (“miracles”), THEN the reader needs NO FAITH to believe what was written thousands of years ago concerning the man of sin.

“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast”
–Revelation 13:13-14

Oh no!  That person waited TOO LONG to exhibit the FAITH needed to be granted eternal salvation.

And so, the WARNING for the end times is the same as Jesus warned almost 2000 years ago.

“And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”
–Mark 13:37

Jesus was NOT saying, “Watch–so that the faithless may confirm what is written in God’s Word through their eyes.”

Jesus was saying, “Watch–so those who had FAITH all of those long years will have that faith confirmed through events which can be seen with their eyes!”

DO NOT WAIT TOO LONG.

Do not wait until faith is no longer possible–because the events foretold are taking place.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
–Hebrews 11:1

“For we are saved by hope [faith]: but hope [faith] that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?”
–Romans 8:24
HAS the reader felt that he should “wait and see” what happens before making any big life decisions?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

Should FEAR Motivate Someone To Become a Christian?

scary

Not so very long ago, a discussion was entered into which addressed whether FEAR was an appropriate reason for a person to become a Christian.

There seemed to be TWO sides to this discussion and it did not appear (from the sound of things) that the two different sides would reach an  agreement.

SIDE #1 seemed to think that FEAR was HIGHLY EFFECTIVE for causing people to become Christians.

SIDE #2 seemed to think that FEAR was unseemly and that LOVE should triumph ALWAYS over FEAR as a reason to become a CHRISTIAN.

After listening to both sides spar without landing a knockout blow, one listener related a conversation he had witnessed years before in a church.

“This reminds me of something I saw a few years back at a church.  A guy and a girl were kinda having the same conversation that is happening here.

“The girl said, ‘Fear and being afraid will cause a LOT of folks to become Christians in the last days.’

“The guy spoke up, ‘Being afraid of something never made ME become a Christian.’

“The girl very quickly responded, ‘You were afraid of going to hell, weren’t you?’

“The guy thought for a second and admitted, ‘I’m wrong.  You’re right: I WAS afraid of going to hell.’”

That discussion from not-so-long-ago continued without one side getting the best of the other.  HOWEVER, no one brought up the many times the Bible talks about the desirability of someone having a FEAR OF THE LORD.

“Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.”
–Leviticus 19:14

“Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God.”
–Leviticus 25:17

“Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.”
–Deuteronomy 8:6

“The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.”
–Psalm 19:9

“The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.”
–Psalm 34:7

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
–Proverbs 1:7

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”
–Proverbs 9:10

“By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.”
–Proverbs 16:6

There are dozens of additional Bible verses which advise the reader to maintain a FEAR of the LORD.

Why FEAR the LORD?

Jesus had the answer to that question, as related in Luke 12:4-5.

“And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.”

The reader should notice that Jesus used the word “afraid” when speaking of a FEAR of the LORD. This should put to rest all of the church wolves who try and make FEAR of the LORD into an AWE of the LORD.

FEAR is FEAR.

And so, all things considered, it would seem that THE RIGHT TYPE OF FEAR is a MORE than appropriate reason to become a Christian.

“The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe. “
–Proverbs 29:25

DOES the reader have a FEAR of the LORD?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
