A World of NO Faith

no

“Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.”
–Deuteronomy 32:18-20

A great many of the prescriptions given in God’s Word for the times in which we now live call for “faith.”

However, during the last days,  MOST do not have faith OR have been taught to place their trust in the people and things of the world; things which can be seen, which–by definition–requires NO faith.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. “
–Hebrews 11:1

In fact, this near-universal LACK OF FAITH during the end times was mentioned by Jesus Christ Himself.

“Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”
–Luke 18:8

The answer to that question posed so long ago (and an answer which was already known by Jesus) is that “There will be PLENTY faith on earth at the return of Jesus Christ–ONLY it will LARGELY be faith in the things of the world.”

So, the $64 Question is “How do any get saved during the end times if there is NO faith, faith being a prerequisite of eternal salvation?”

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
–Hebrews 11:6

Which prompts ONE MORE question: “How does anyone gain eternal salvation if the world has been taught that there REALLY is no God and that Jesus is a fiction?”

One cannot have faith in something in which one does NOT believe.

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
–John 3:36

The short answer to the question, “How does anyone gain salvation if the world has been taught that there REALLY is no God and that Jesus is a fiction?” is “God can do ANYTHING–including save those who previously had no faith.”

Particularly IF that person has a kernel of faith hidden in them somewhere AND God can use them in some way to further his purpose.

For evidence, one only need look at the apostle Paul, who spent his younger days prosecuting the followers of Jesus and then SUDDENLY became an apostle of Jesus.

“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.”
–1TIMOTHY 1:12-16

God can do ANYTHING.

And God’s mercy is everlasting.

“For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. “
–Psalm 100:5

So, there are a FEW who will be saved by the mercy (grace) of God.

Including, it is presumed, those who AT THE PRESENT MOMENT exhibit no faith in God or His Son, Jesus Christ.

TO what does the reader look FIRST when unexpected chaos or disaster strikes: God and His Son, Jesus Christ OR the authorities?

TO whom does the reader listen most to: the government/media or God’s Word?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
