Let no man deceive you.
Christian churches in America are awash with the gospel. American Christians may hear a gospel message more times than other Christians around the world combined.
They hear the Prosperity gospel, the gospel of man, the gospel of self-actualization, the Word of Faith gospel, the gospel of pull-yourself-up-by-your-own bootstraps (“God helps those who help themselves“), the gospel of live your best life now!, the “We are all gods” gospel, the New Age gospel, the occult christianity gospel…
In fact, Americans Christians hear more gospels in a week of viewing christian TV than Christians in most other countries hear in a lifetime.
A tiny, tiny portion of American Christians may even hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.
When what seems right to man is added to what God has declared, then the result is “another gospel.” Galatians 1:8 and 9 make clear the result of other gospel messages.Believers are to live by the Word of God. We are to walk by faith. When this walk is compromised by following after the traditions of men–no matter how “spiritual” these traditions may sound–then the entire walk can be compromised.
It makes no matter from what men those traditions originate: Greek or Jew, Chinese or Catholic, science or pagan. They are still the traditions of men. In the American Christian Church of 2013, Jewish traditions are all the rage. Sometimes, they are used to augment scriptures. Sometimes, they are used to supplement scripture.
Sometimes, they are substituted for the clear meaning of God’s Word itself.
In some cases, these traditions are added to and become part of the gospel itself.
If what one knows are the traditions of men, then when hard times come, those same traditions of men are what will be leaned upon.
And the traditions of men will fail.
Unfortunately, this will be the result of preaching, sitting under and believing another gospel.
It makes no difference what one calls it; it makes no difference how it is prettied up: Another gospel is another gospel.
“Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.”

“Suicide” is the auto-solution for the problem of inconvenient and troublesome people. It is welcomed by government in 2013.
One suspects that’s the reason for such stories.

HOWEVER, the headline is the type of article that is run in the Western Press to convince Westerners that Muslims are nothing but animals deserving of the quickest death possible.

MEANWHILE, a steady stream of a DIFFERENT type of story appears in the Muslim media. An example follows.
EXPLICIT CONTENT WARNING: Has she finally gone too far this time? Miley Cyrus gets fully naked to straddle Wrecking Ball in video of the same name – While this appeared in a UK newspaper, it is the type of story which runs 24/7 in the Muslim press to show their readers that Americans are nothing more than ANIMALS deserving the quickest death possible. And not only animals–but SATANIC animals!
Though it’s been quite some time since the USA acknowledged Christianity, to the Muslim world, the USA represents Christianity. Many Americans think it’s amusing that Muslims call the USA “The Great Satan.”
Iran’s officials have occasionally referred to the USA as “Iblis” which corresponds to Satan in Christianity.
Final Tally: Americans Were 12 Times More Interested in Miley Cyrus Than Syria
Is it any wonder many Muslims are 100% totally convinced that the USA and its allies are out to corrupt their faith, their families and their children? Is it any wonder that Muslims see the West as a corrupt, evil influence to be resisted, not embraced?
EXAMPLE from Al-Jezeera: “Southern Decadence” invites LGBT community to New Orleans – (with video). Muslims are convinced that Americans are satanic, demon-possessed fools living in a country devoid of morality. Americans, including many American Christians, are convinced that Muslims are subhuman animals.
A better recipe couldn’t be found for two cultures being readied for a no-holds-barred death struggle.
Deadly MERS Virus: The latest news about a possible ? – Tough to say. Can’t say “cure” because there have never been ANY (as in “not one) single virus that science or modern medicine has found a cure for. Can’t say “breakthrough” because the news about the 2-drug cocktail is so sketchy. Hence, the “?”

Mother of driver who admitted killing man in confessional DUI video says she’s proud of her son as he is taken into custody facing prison sentence of EIGHT years – Interesting story. The youth in question killed a man while drunk driving and the thrust of this story is “how proud” (REMINDER: Pride is a sin, but it’s a sin that modern America has turned into a virtue. Everyone proclaims their pride in something or someone in America 2013.) his mother is of him that he turned himself in. The story is very sympathetic toward a young man who killed another human being.
The author of this piece wants readers to be sympathetic too.
Another interesting point: the pic the article contains (5th down in the story). Notice the cross tattooed on the young man’s forearm.It’s similar–in some cases identical–to crosses seen on Christians, their persons and automobile decals. Not all crosses are “Christian-friendly.”
Alas, it seems sometimes that the times in we are living are too far advanced for warnings such as this to make much difference in the “Christian” community.

Grace Like Rain – This is one example of the belief system that has overtaken and, in some instances, conquered Christianity in 2013 America.
Grain is like rain.
The Holy Spirit is a weak, easily-manipulated force that appears, not to accomplish a sovereign God’s work, but at the beck and call of the assembly.
The Holy Spirit is breathed in through the air.
Most of this non-biblical, occult imagery and doctrinal change has been drip-drip-dripped into American Christianity through the use of “praise and worship” music which celebrates something other than Jesus Christ. In fact, a Contemporary Christian Music song which proclaims Jesus in a non-repetitive way is rarer than American Christians who understand the subtle, corrosive changes such music has brought to their faith “which was once delivered unto the saints.”
What’s the difference if one rejects Oprah Winfrey and embraces her New Age mysticism within the confines of the church walls?
What does it gain to mark Benny Hinn as a false teacher and yet proclaim Hinn’s heresies?
What does it matter to profess “Lord Lord” and not keep His commandments?
Jesus warned His church “Take heed that no man deceive you.”
The Savior’s words are taken seriously by few.
They go completely unheeded by many.
At this point in the game, the deception is all-encompassing, pervasive and ubiquitous*.
And tragic.
* – Put another way, the “deception surrounds and envelops us, existing in or spreading through every part of Christianity; is widespread, existing or being everywhere at the same time and is constantly encountered.

I had a conversation with a man who described himself as a “born-again Christian.” He was very likable, ex-military, had 10 children, one of which was with him. All were being home-schooled.
Obviously, here was a man who took his faith seriously enough to undergo the sacrifice in money and time home schooling involved: all to ensure that his children would not be ensnared by the worldly indoctrination of the public schools.
And yet…
The man’s face brightened noticeably when informed that I was born again. He took the opportunity to enthusiastically share his faith with another believer.
Within a few minutes, I learned about the fallen angels, the giants, UFOs, aliens, reptilian beings, as well as the cause for which God destroyed the world in the flood: corrupted DNA, not man’s sin.
He was very sincere.
Clearly, Science Fiction christianity had claimed another convert.
No amount of scripture seemed to matter. But, we both parted on good terms and hopefully, I’ll see him again soon.
All of this illustrates two important points.
1) Sincerity is no substitute for the truth. I’ve encountered Christians who have defended someone who proclaims that which is not in the Bible as “sincere.” Their sincerity is not in question: their doctrine is. Every day there are millions of people who are sincerely deceived. False religions and cults are composed of them.
2) Once one makes a spiritual decision, usually no amount of proof, evidence, logic or even scripture makes a difference to the person. After gaining valuable experience on this subject in the School of Hard Knocks, I’ve discovered that the best course is to usually pray that God opens the eyes of the person.
This doesn’t mean that every once in a great while, I won’t use a scripture or two.
