Massive Explosions After Freight Train Derailment in Quebec Province Town

TRAIN EXPLOSION: A train explosion in Quebec province decimated an entire section of the town of Lac-Megantic.

Reports of massive explosions, people missing, and an entire freight train carrying crude oil derailed, ‘all the tankers on fire’ in the heart of the small town of Lac-Megantic located 250 kilometers east of Montreal. According to news reports some of the residents may have caught up in the explosions after they went to see the derailed train cars. Authorities also report crude oil in all of the estimated 73 freight tankers are on fire with massive damage to the town.
