Here’s a few questions that Levin and every American believing that this constitutional convention will somehow make things better–instead of hellishly worse should have to answer.
“Who will go to such a convention? Why would these people not be the same people who are currently steering the government into a ditch? What’s to stop the convention-goers from taking the opportunity to gut the constitution?” (Well, to gut the constitution quicker than what an unelected judiciary have already done.)
Will the twist in this tale be when “churchianity” apostles and prophets are strong enough to bring about the coming theocracy of the whore Church? Will they use an Article V convention to “fix things?”

The media manipulates and Americans love to be manipulated–Oh, they insist that they don’t but the evidence proves otherwise–especially all those who put their faith in the rich and celebrated who appear on their TVs.
Americans have been sold a bill of goods about being fiercely independent freedom-lovers. Practically all Americans have a herd instinct that would make lemmings blush.
Why the greater good sometimes necessitates compromise – The Corporate Media will never run out of reasons why people should go with the flow and compromise their principles. “Pragmatic” = compromise.

JOHN HAGEE, THE MOST SLYLY SATANIC OF ANTI-SEMITICS?
Popular TV preacher John Hagee is no friend of the Jews.
Hagee is the brains behind CUFI (Christians United for Israel). Yet, Hagee will not share the gospel with Jews! More than that, Hagee has written that Jesus wasn’t the Messiah for the Jews! Hagee also has said that the Jews have their own way to heaven and don’t need Jesus!
So don’t look to John Hagee to offer the Jews the opportunity for eternal life through Jesus Christ. He is on the record as saying he flatly won’t do it.
Nevertheless, there are people who call themselves Christian who elevate John Hagee higher than Jesus Christ, refusing to believe that Hagee isn’t who he says he is. This writer encountered one yesterday. This is what the person said when notified of the heresies in print and video of John Hagee and the written heresies of C.S. Lewis.
“I don’t know how you interpret either Hagee or Lewis, both great men of God. But, you are free to believe what you want even though misguided.”
Ironically, this person was writing about Apostasy in the Church. Hagee and C.S. Lewis were both quoted favorably.
When this writer dropped the following John Hagee quotes in a comment, that comment was not published.
“I’m not trying to convert the Jewish people to the Christian faith… In fact, trying to convert Jews is a waste of time. Jews already have a covenant with God and that has never been replaced by Christianity.” (Houston Chronicle, April 30, 1988, sec, 6, pg. 1).

Sadly, so many “christians” don’t know their Bible–which is why they fall for wolves like John Hagee.
The temptation to ignore such ungodly wolves as Hagee and Lewis is strong. Both men have many fans–and many of the fans are passionate for these two men. But Scripture commands us to mark these men, warn others and then avoid them–and these are not times in which we should be disobedient (if ever such times existed).
“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.”

Christians should pray that John Hagee repents and joins the Body of Christ.

And this is exactly why the prosperity gospel has not produced the next generation of great hymns of the Christian faith. This is why we don’t look to churches dominated by positive thinking for rich, gospel-centered songs. Where there is a shallow and unbiblical message, there must also be shallow and unbiblical songs. Conversely, a rich message generates rich dwelling, and that rich dwelling generates rich contemplation, and that rich contemplation generates rich songs.
Of course, this generation of modern “praise and worship” songs have catchy tunes, infectious beats and ardent adherents. They also have occult imagery, pagan lyrics and a mostly Dominionist mindset. IN short, most (not all) of the praise and worship songs commonly employed in modern, hip, with-it churches are shallow and unbiblical.
Where there is a shallow and unbiblical message, there must also be shallow and unbiblical songs.
Flip this truism and one can predict where churches who today appear to be biblically sound will be tomorrow.

But those who are used to pleasing the flesh; of plotting their own course whether it agrees with the Word of God or not; of walking by sight, will most likely do just exactly what they are being urged to do: take up arms. What about those who do succumb and take up arms against the antichrist? Are they walking in obedience to God’s Word? Or are they having their itching ears tickled by the wolves? What does the Bible say?

This is one reason so many have changed the sixth commandment from “Thou shalt not kill” to “Thou shalt not murder.” They want some wiggle room when the whore Church’s Bridal “army of God” goes to war. God is very clear on this point: do not shed men’s blood.
The saints will be fully avenged; they are not to avenge themselves.

The media will then build up quasi-religious apostles and prophets. The important difference in this whole affair is that these self-anointed apostles and prophets will be rebellious, Bible-hating men and women of the whore Church.
Think that’s a stretch?

There was a boatload of error in the “about” page.
It was very sad because she was very enthusiastic for the Lord–or at least the Lord she is worshiping.

Well said! People today romanticize the saints’ prayers in Revelation 8:3-4, but they forget the context – Revelation 6:9-11. These were imprecatory prayers! The saints asked God, “How long … until you judge and avenge our blood?” He answered with 8:1-6, seven trumpets of judgment.
People often ridicule the Bible’s imprecatory prayers, yet they want to take up arms. They think it’s better to kill their own enemies rather than let God do it. They want to judge the living and the dead, instead of him. They also forget that in Christ, an enemy can become a friend. Not all are like Pharaoh. Some are like Nebuchadnezzar. The best response to such people is Luke 9:52-56. When the disciples asked Jesus if they could make fire fall from heaven (like Elijah) on the Samaritans who wouldn’t receive him, Jesus said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. The Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.”

I have a friend who is fond of saying “Even your enemies will give your their treasure if you have the favor of God.”
Yes, all very good thoughts! Especially Luke 9:52-56. One of the temptations of the devil is to offer power–especially power over our enemies. The praying down of fire upon its enemies is one way Scripture tells us we can know the false prophet and his whore church. But power and, more importantly, power on a grand display, will deceive many (most) who dwell upon the earth.
It’s hard for men (especially men from America) to leave the vengeance to God.

There is one exception to praying down fire on one’s enemies – Revelation 11, God’s 2 prophets.

Ah yes.
But does it say they will pray down fire? (Fire will come from their mouths…)
Maybe a broad interpretation of “plague”?
Also, if one assumes one of the witnesses is Elijah, then one can also assume that one of the witnesses will duplicate Elijah’s miracles.
The two witnesses are one subject that no matter how much study has been applied, no further points have been brought to light–at least to me.
