Imaginary Friends: Not Normal, Not Healthy

DEMONIC FRIENDS

“for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth”
–Genesis 8:21

The world always seems to have something good to say about something bad.

And so it is with the subject of imaginary friends (sometimes called pretend friend or invisible friend). The world wants parents to believe these imaginary friends are products of a child’s own imagination.

No doubt many readers know of someone in their family or a friend who had an imaginary friend. Some of these entities pass in and out of child’s life without incident. However, seem to be an increasing number of parents who are uncomfortable with their child’s imaginary ‘friend.’

Like a lot of perverseness in today’s society, the world would have the masses believe that imaginary friends are just a part of a ‘normal childhood.’

The reality of these ‘normal’ entities is quite different.

Creepy things kids say about their imaginary friends

A parent of one of my students told us in a meeting that she was concerned because her son (7 years old) talked about an invisible ghost who would talk to him and play with him in his room.

He said the ghost was called The Captain and was an old white guy with a beard. The kid would tell his mom that The Captain told him when he grows up his job will be to kill people, and The Captain would tell him who needed to be killed.

The kid would cry and say he doesn’t want to kill when he grows up, but The Captain tells him he doesn’t have a choice and he’ll get used to killing after a while.

Many parents of children with imaginary friends have similar stories.

When my brother was little he acted like he had … [spirits] talking to him every second. One day my mom overheard him say: “I can’t kill him! He’s my only dad!”

My childhood imaginary friend turned out to be a ghost (demon)

Many folks wonder where 3-4- and 5-year-olds get information about murder and death and other antisocial, antichrist topics. Some parents wonder how “normal” such talk coming from a toddler can be.

A little after i was born, my sister Julia had an imaginary friend named Jessica. She was Julia’s friend for a long time, when things started to get a little weird. At first my parents shrugged it off as a normal occurrence, but after a while they began to believe that our house was haunted .One night as my parents put me (about one years old) to sleep, i begin to cry and point at the corner, my mom was still in there and began to try to comfort me, but i continued to cry and point at the same corner. All of the sudden, my sister walks into my room and points at the corner and yells “Jessica stop it”!

Immediately i stop crying and Julia says like it is completely normal that “Sometimes Jessica likes to put on scary masks and scare people”. My mom who was understandably freaked out stammers to my sister “Tell Jessica that if she cant play nice, she cant play here at all”.

A couple weeks go by and Julia tells my Mom that “Her eyes turn green when she is mad and her voice gets deeper”. My Mom didn’t know how to respond to this and just said “ok….”
Disturbing things kids have said when talking about their imaginary friends

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils”
–1Timothy 4:1

Imaginary Friends: Are they Demonic? – A topic about which this writer has wondered for some time. Since psychiatrists usually say such “friends” are healthy, the answer to the linked question is most likely “Yes.” —End Times Prophecy Headlines: May 3-4, 2014

After more research, the answer is definitely “Yes!

Invisible Friends? – A revealing commentary on John Paul Jackson, a false prophet much exalted by men, and his apologies for those children who have imaginary friends. Though this commentary is from 2009, it is relevant as Jackson met his Maker just about fifteen months ago.

IF a false prophet defends imaginary friends, the reader can be assured imaginary friends are not from God. And if psychiatrists, false prophets and ‘child behavior experts’ ALL say imaginary friends are ‘normal,’ then parents should know to BEWARE!

NOTE: In the past, imaginary friends have sometimes been linked to fairies (another name for demons). There are also stories of imaginary friends being familiar spirits (a type of demon), which makes perfect sense.

“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD:”
–Deuteronomy 18:10-12

Demons, the Demonic: Cover Stories for Demons and Demonic Power

The world will NEVER tire of trying to mainstream demons, devils, evil spirits and other perverseness.

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
–1John 2:15

“know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
–James 4:4

Is the reader a friend of the world?

Does the reader have a disturbing relationship with something the world insists is ‘normal’?

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
–2Corinthians 4:3
