Those of us who know the Lord must remember their desperate plight as we share the gospel of our salvation in love, trusting the Holy Spirit to convict the sinner and bring him to salvation. We must remember that it is the work of God in the heart of the sinner that brings about repentant faith in the Lord Jesus Christ since the sinner is completely impotent to do anything about their lost and damned condition. No thought needed, no intellectual curiosity, no deeper introspection of what redemption and the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus truly mean, just raise a hand, say a prayer, give some money, and when you get to the pearly gates you get a pat on the head, a cookie, some warm milk, and as an added bonus you get waved right on through.
Everything we have been taught about our Origins is wrong – Yes, it is. But don’t expect the linked article to shed any light on those shadowy origins. The article offers more of the same murk which characterizes what we call “history” and “science.” Think about it. We have artifacts which are man-made inside rocks and coal. Plenty of these exist.
And what does ‘science’ say?

It throws these figures around exactly like it knows what it is talking about–which it does not. These man-made artifacts point to two situations. 1- The Bible is correct and has the answers to these man-created “mysteries;” and, 2- Science obviously can’t date its way out of a wet paper bag. But instead of addressing those issues, the Corporate Media (Satan’s Mouthpiece) will continue to pretend like it doesn’t have a clue. “Oh, look here! Another mystery!”
A few observations:

The uncoupling of the resurrection of the dead and the gathering together of the saints has gained great popularity in our modern times. The resurrection of the dead and the rapture occur nearly simultaneously [1 Thes 4:16-17]. There can be no rapture without first the resurrection of the dead believers.
Some believe in multiple rapture scenarios. The natural question is “Before which rapture is the resurrection of the dead? Or does it occur multiple times?”
If one can find the timing of the resurrection of the dead, then one will know the timing of the rapture. John 6 tells us four times when the dead are raised up. [John 6:39, 6:40, 6:44 and 6:54] Paul assures us that this is a raising of the righteous dead in Philippians 3:11. [“If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead,”]
Matthew Poole’s teaching is characteristic of mainstream Christian doctrine until the 20th century–especially in America.

The Apostle Paul now comes to refute the opinion that some had received as if the day of Christ was near at hand. Having said, 1 Thess. 4:17, “We which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air,” etc., then some might think His coming would be in the Apostle’s time….
And because this mistake might be of dangerous consequence, therefore Paul is very vehement and particular in refuting it. For hereupon they might be brought to question the truth of the whole Gospel when this should not come to pass. They might be unprepared for the sufferings that were to come upon the church; their patience might fail in expecting this day, and their minds be doubting about the coming of Christ at all.
This opinion would also much narrow their thoughts about Christ’s kingdom, and the enlarging of the Gospel among other Gentiles. And the profane might abuse it to sensuality, as 1 Cor. 15:32, “Let us eat and drink; for tomorrow we die.”
It is instructive to see how the word Paul used for Christ’s “coming” (parousia) in 2 Thessalonians 2:1 is used elsewhere in the Bible. Parousia is only used six times. Paul used the same word just a few sentences later in 2 Thessalonians 2:8.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [parousia]
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, [parousia] and of the end of the world?
—Matthew 24:3
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?[parousia]
—2 Peter 3:3-4
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming [parousia] of the Lord.
—James 5:7
According to Strong’s, parousia means
“From the present participle of pareimi; a being near, i.e. Advent (often, return; specially, of Christ to punish Jerusalem, or finally the wicked); (by implication) physically, aspect — coming, presence.”
As Satan knows all too well: One cannot be prepared for what one believes one will never face.
