The State of the American Church: Church planting
In America more churches close each year in America than are being planted. 80 percent of American churches have either plateaued or are declining.
All of these preceding articles have to do with numbers. None of the articles have to do with the spiritual health of the American Church. It’s deplorable–and many of the ones in the middle of the corruption dance around and celebrate it as being from God.
It has taken the spirit of iniquity nearly 2000 years to subvert and corrupt the pure Word of God and the great majority of Christ’s Church.

It’s all about power. Earthly power, spiritual power: raw power. Power is a seductive spirit. Unfortunately, it is already loose in the land and it has seduced many. If your church begins to talk about raising the dead and performing end time miracles: Flee!
One can warn–but to those who have power in their eyes, it likely won’t matter.
DON’T BE DECEIVED
About the times in which we now live, Jesus warned three times in Matthew 24 about being deceived. In Matthew 24:24, he clearly states where the end times deception would originate. The deception would not originate from the world, but from within the end times apostate Church.
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

“or false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.”

Paul echoed Jesus’ warning.
“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,”

John wrote that the end times deception would reach its peak under a man who will act very much like Jesus–but will sound like Satan.
“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;”

Yet, despite all of the warnings, there are those who would rather put their faith in their human abilities than in the Word of God. There will be no end of those who look for a powerful end times Church which will do miracles, signs and lying wonders. The Bible details this machinations of this Church and calls it the whore of Babylon.
“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

Televangelist claims four blood moons are signs of earth-shaking events – Extra-biblical event which has captured the imaginations of American Christians. Like much in what passes for the American Christian Church, it is a manufactured event. Today’s American Christianity has degenerated into a mishmash of experiences, pagan rituals, occult incantations and gnostic/mystic teachings.
That being said, it is likely that something will happen on these dates. Else, why have men conjure up such hocus-pocus–and why is the secular media giving it such coverage?

One thing that has become evident in the Blood Moons frenzy is that most American Christians know very little about the Day of the Lord. They throw the term around like they’re talking about “next Tuesday.” Most know only what they’ve been told by hucksters selling DVDs or pulpit preachers who prepare by watching such unbiblical teachings.
The largest promoter of the Blood Moons is a man who preaches that there’s more than one way of salvation–which calls into question whether the man is even a Christian or not.
Which means that the subject of the Day of the Lord would make a good future article.
