Swaggart is proving by his public actions that he has no repentance and is not turning from his ways. From so-called ‘Christian rock’ performances at his Family Worship Center to photos of his daughter and employees engaging in filthy and satanic innuendo.
Jimmy Swaggart is certainly no worse than any other TV preacher; i.e., they are ALL agents of the enemy, actively engaged in
- Providing cover for other deceiving agents of the enemy to hide behind;
- Misleading and deceiving any who might have a legitimate interest in Jesus Christ; and,
- Gaining the material rewards from this lost world instead of laboring for the kingdom of God.
As such, we are to pray for Jimmy Swaggart–as true believers are to do for all who are lost and blind–but we are also to steer clear of him and his works. Separating from such people as Jimmy Swaggart is not a suggestion: it is a command from God’s Word.

One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article. When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master.” “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events. Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do.
Winston Churchill’s family feared he might convert to Islam – The narrative in this piece isn’t that Winston Churchill wouldn’t have looked on Islam with favor. The narrative is that Winston Churchill, as a prime worker of iniquity, would have “converted.” Churchill owed his allegiance to his masters and thus, he would have publicly done anything they required.
