“Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.”

The Bible is clear that the end times will be full of the “signs and lying wonders” of the dragon (Satan).
“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,”
—2 Thessalonians 2:8-9
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
—Matthew 24:24
Even now, we can see this: the faithless inhabiting the apostate church buildings crave something concrete. They have no faith, they do no believe: they need to see some proof!
They crave some visible sign of supernatural power.
Nothing deceives like power and nothing deceives the wicked like illegitimate supernatural power.
Some have placed their faith in the things of the world. Some have placed their faith in the power of man. And some have placed their faith in the father of lies, who deceives them; that he is the “good” god.
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:”
—Revelation 12:9
Signs and lying wonders are the fruit of the faithless. Therefore, signs and wonders will be given to them.
A satisfaction with seeing end times signs and wonders is proof that person is on the road to perdition. A desire to see end times signs and wonders is a desire which false prophets, false teachers and false Christs will exploit. That what the Bible says.
“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”
—Matthew 24:11
A hunger for signs and wonders is an end times sign itself: a sign of faithlessness.

Many churches promote all sorts of end times “miracles” and “signs.” This is for those of little or no faith. True believers need no signs; signs are for unbelievers.
“For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?”
—Romans 8:24
