End Times: 7 Observations

Observations and Questions

There is much written about the end times.

There is much written IN God’s Word and there is much more written OUTSIDE of God’s Word, by men.

Of course, much about the end times is written by unbelievers. Some is written openly by unbelievers, mockers and scoffers. But much more is written by unbelievers posing as Christians.

Which is why so much which is written is nonsense and contradicts what the Bible clearly says.

With that in mind, here are seven observations, along with several pertinent questions, about the end times.

1- IF nothing else, the end times are a time of great deception: lies abound and nowhere are those lies more noticeable than in the pulpits of the churches.

Jesus warned repeatedly of the deception that would mark the end times.

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”
Matthew 24:4

And among the ones laboring under the biggest delusions are the workers of iniquity.

Workers of Iniquity: Deceiving and Deceived

These are the those who spread deceptions and work to corrupt God’s Word, many of them operating from within the churches.

Satan Has Counterfeited the Christian Church

But the masses are deceived as well.

IF by no other sign, the great ubiquitous deception that blanket the world (especially America) is one of the surest ways to recognize the end times.

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
Matthew 24:24

There are many other deceptions at work in the dragon’s version of the end times (e.g., GOG-MAGOG is Armageddon, THREAT FROM ABOVE: Space Weapons and Armageddon), but to list them all is beyond the scope of this article.

The Nature of Spiritual Deception

2 – The period of great testing (called The Tribulation, sometimes The Great Tribulation) is three-and-a-half years NOT SEVEN YEARS.

“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”
Matthew 24:21

The Bible is VERY CLEAR that this time of testing and tribulation referred to by Jesus (and others) is 3 1/2 years.

Great Tribulation: Periods of Time in Revelation VS Claims of Man

It’s also referred to as “times, time and half a time” or forty-two months or 1260 days.  All equal three-and-a-half years.  Nowhere in the Bible does it mention a seven-year period.

However, that hasn’t stopped the Modern American Prophecy Industry from promoting the antichrist idea that this period is seven years. The other big promoters of this deception are the wolves in the pulpits of the churches and the pre-tribulation rapture shills.

IN FACT, it’s likely the entire endless, false arguments over the “timing of the rapture” (which God’s Word is also very clear about [Matt 24:29 among others]) are conducted just to indoctrinate the masses into the seven-year deception.

So, here’s a question for all of those prophecy-mongers: Will God give the man of sin twice as long a period of ministry as He gave His Son, Jesus Christ?

3- The Bible doesn’t say a third Jewish temple will be erected and God’s Word certainly doesn’t call such a building “the temple of God.”

The temple of God is the believing Church.  Not the visible counterfeit which operates as an extension of Dragon Incorporated, but the One Body of Believers in Jesus Christ: that Church against which Jesus promised the “gates of hell” would not prevail.

“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
Matthew 16:18

[For a series of pertinent questions on this topic, refer to the two “Third Jewish Temple” pieces listed above.]

[NOTE: This doesn’t mean that such a building will not be erected in Jerusalem by the mystery of iniquity: it most likely will.  BUT this building is not called the temple of God in the Bible and it’s purpose will be to deceive.

And it will achieve its purpose.]

4- Jesus cannot come back at “any moment.”

God is a God of order: He does nothing which contradicts His Word. And God’s Word is absolutely clear that Jesus will not return until two very specific events occur.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”
2 Thessalonians 2:3

There are two conditions which must be fulfilled before the Second Coming: 1) the falling away (called by some “The Great Falling Away”) must occur; and, 2) the man of sin must be revealed.

The apostle Paul KNEW that the dragon and his many minions would be attempting to confuse the masses on this point. That’s why he prefaces those two very clear, distinct events with “Let no man deceive you…”

The agents of disinformation have attempted to convince the world that the “falling away” is currently taking place: it is not.

The falling away will be that great, end times satanic revival (the deceivers never tire of chattering on about a great end times revival [on which the Bible is silent]) which looks like Christianity but which is really from the dragon (Satan).

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”
Revelation 13:11

[The word translated as “falling away” in the KJV is apostasia, which literally means “rebellion.”]

When the falling away takes place, it will LOOK like a great Christian revival. But it will be a great rebellion against God and Jesus Christ.

And it will fool a great many people who do not know the Bible or Jesus.

MAN OF SIN: Preparations are being completed for the man of sin. The man of sin will arise from the midst of the apostate church.
MAN OF SIN: Preparations are being completed for the man of sin. The man of sin will arise from the midst of the apostate church.

While there is much chatter about whether this first condition has been met, there is NO chatter about the second condition. The next time someone gets all starry-eyed and coos: “You know, Jesus can come back at any time.”

Ask them who the man of sin is.

That’s the second condition before Jesus comes back.

Let NO MAN deceive you.

MAN OF SIN: The Man of Sin is Coming

5- One of main arguments when the pretribulation rapture folks begin their spiel, is “Of course we do not see tribulation: Jesus wouldn’t beat up His bride now, would he?”

But the Bible says that persecution and tribulation will be the lot of the true Christian; the believer is to be thankful for such testing, not run from it.

“exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.”
Acts 14:22

“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
2 Timothy 3:12

In the end times, Jesus is not beating up His Bride: He’s choosing it.

6- The Vatican and the pope ARE NOT “Mystery Babylon.”

“So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
Revelation 17: 3-5

The dragon and his minions in the mystery of iniquity have spent much time, money and effort to indoctrinate the masses that the Vatican is the “woman on the beast” or “Mystery Babylon” or The New World Order.

The Vatican certainly does have its end times part to play and it will naturally play a part meant to deceive mankind (as it has done for the last 1700 years or so). BUT be forewarned: the pope’s New World Order one-world government is NOT the end-all of satanic deception.

It is only the beginning.

Those who celebrate (what they believe to be) the end of the one-world government with the downfall of the Vatican will be celebrating too early.

The Vatican is a part of the mystery of iniquity’s Babylonian deception, NOT the whole of it–not by a long shot.

7 – The masses are being set up at present to be driven by fear later.

Fear of war, fear of financial collapse, fear of famine and pestilence, fear of persecution: perhaps, fear of all of the above.

Persecution of the Saints: The Fear and the Pit and the Snare

Fear is a great motivator and herder of people.

But believers are NOT to be driven by fear.

Fear in America – Who will You Believe: the Media or the Word of God?

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
2 Timothy 1:7

Fear: What does the Bible Say about Conquering Fear?

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”
1 John 4:18

The only fear a Christian is to have is a fear of God, not man.

“The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.”
–Proverbs 29:25

Is the reader a believer: one of the few?

Or, is the reader lost?

Or, a worker of iniquity?

The door has not shut–yet.

“When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:”
Luke 13:25

There’s yet still time to become a member of the kingdom of heaven.

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:”
2 Corinthians 4:3

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
