No doubt the reader has heard some of the chatter lately concerning “super powers.” Much of this blather is coming from the “scientific” community.
One would expect this since science is only a remnant of an ancient, pagan religion.
This is the reason why increasingly, many scientists sound like witch doctors in lab coats.
So apparently, people cannot get enough of the idea they can have super powers (like the many super-heroes the Corporate Media’s comics section has featured for decades).

The reader gets the idea. The Corporate Media churns out new ones every day. In addition, YouTube features literally, HUNDREDS of videos (actually over 250,000) on the same theme, most aimed toward the youth and young adults.
And of course: the people featured in such videos use their powers “for good.”
SUPER POWERS ARE REAL
Being able to have super powers is a VERY seductive snare. After all, the great majority of moderns feel as if they are powerless. In their minds, having a super power would help “even things up” and make life more fair.
Perhaps the ONLY thing more unbelievable than the idea of people having super powers is the idea that, in the end times, some people WILL have super powers.
However, those powers will come at a VERY steep price.
Actually, the blah-blah-blah media buzz about superpowers is how Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) pretties up and sells moderns on the benefits of wielding demonic power. IF the media were honest and revealed it was promoting the contacting and utilization of demons, no doubt many might run the other way (or not).
So, the myth of the superpower was born.
Illegitimate supernatural (demonic) power has ALWAYS been very seductive to groups who traditionally have felt powerless. This is a primary reason why witchcraft has held such allure for teen-age girls.
Whether it’s called “The Force” or a familiar spirit or “unleashing the power within” or a demon or “getting in touch with the divinity that is within you” or a spirit guide or a devil or serpent power or superpowers or “speaking with an Ascended Master” or witchcraft or tapping into the goddess or sorcery or connecting with earth power or a spirit animal or magic, it’s all the same thing: illegitimate supernatural (demonic) power.
Whether a person uses the spirit/demon to obtain power, knowledge, control or manipulation of another person, money, contact with another spirit, revenge or any of the other reasons men traffic with demons, it’s a snare.
It doesn’t matter what that power is used for, God warns against it in His Word and declares the person who allows himself to fall into this trap will bear a heavy burden.
Both in this world and for eternity.
“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD”
The constant media/entertainment focus on “superpowers” is only a pre-selling of the demonic. This is a deception that this illegitimate supernatural power may be used without incurring the wrath of God.
By holding out the chance that people without earthly power may obtain such power without consequence, the media and entertainment worlds are attempting to normalize illegitimate supernatural power in the end times.
But, carnal men and women have always hungered for the things of this world, including more earthly power, no matter where that power may originate.
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
–1 John 2:15
“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
The Bible says that many in the last days will be caught in this trap.
Will the reader?
It is still not too late.
“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
–1 Corinthians 15:1-8
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
