Seven End Times Deceptions to Watch For and Avoid

The end times are, of course, a time of great deception.

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”
–Matthew 24:4

To that end, the world does not wait until the last days before Jesus Christ returns before it begins deceiving mankind. The world begins deceiving man YEARS before Jesus returns.

In some cases, decades before He returns to earth.

With that in mind, here are seven great end times deceptions for the reader to be aware of and to avoid.

1- There will be a great end times revival of God Almighty.

Regardless of what the wolves in the pulpits, the TV preachers and the workers of iniquity in the churches claim, the Bible is clear about a great end times revival of God: there is none.

The Bible DOES reveal that there will be a GREAT end times revival [worship] of Satan.

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
–Revelation 13:4,7-8

Because modern man knows so little about God’s Word; because end times man has placed his trust in this world, in the men of this world, in the things of this world, in the authorities of this world; and, because modern man labors under such great deception, he will mistake the great end times revival of Satan for a revival of God.

Sad.

2- Those who congregate in the buildings known as the churches will not see the bad times because they will be taken to heaven in a secret, pre-tribulation rapture.

The Bible is more than clear about when the gathering together occurs. Only by giving in to GREAT deception can one make the clear words of God mean something completely different.

“But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.”
–Mark 13:24-27

3- God will be revealed in great end times miracles, signs and lying wonders.

The Bible is very clear that great end times power–regardless of what the workers of iniquity may call it (cosmic power, supernatural power, angelic power, mind power, power of the universe or some other clever cover-up)–is a deception from Satan and his man of sin.

“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders”
–2Thessalonians 2:8-9

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do”
–Revelation 13:11,13-14

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Sadly, many in the churches are being prepared for satanic miracles and lying wonders by looking for a “move of God.”

Can God Almighty do anything at any time anywhere?

OF COURSE he can.

But he has SPECIFICALLY warned in His Word that in the last days, the displays of supernatural power will be coming from Satan.

And God’s Word is true.

But because so many do not believe the Bible, they will be deceived by the enemy.

4- Men will be able to prepare physically for the time of great tribulation.

Men will attempt to prepare physically for what is soon to come upon the earth.

But no amount of freeze-dried food, stockpiled weapons, hoarded gold or water will change what God has decreed will happen upon the earth.

5- There exists “outer space” from which an array of threats to the earth (aliens, alien civilizations, UFOs, ETs asteroids) will arise.

These are important end times deceptions.

HOW can one know this?

Because the entire culture (media/government/entertainment/science/education) have combined to plant and repeat these outer space stories for nearly 75 years.

Some of these stories have been told for 200 years or more.

6- This world (and the things of this world) is all there is.

“All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.”
—Ecclesiastes 3:20

Man’s authorities claim that modern man’s focus should be on THIS WORLD and THIS LIFE.

“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”
—James 4:14

“For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:”

And finally

7- The authorities of this world–science, education, governments, technology, medicine–will make it possible for man to achieve a Golden Age of Man and live in a “heaven on earth.”

The authorities of this world have been raised up to challenge God’s Word and to deceive modern man.

To this end, the world’s authorities have collected many stories to tell the people of the earth. Regardless of who is telling these stories–scientists, politicians, professors, medical professionals–these stories have a few things in common.

The stories challenge the Bible (God’s Word).
The stories are not true. It is easy to see these stories are not true because they have to be changed so often.
The stories make it easier for the few of the mystery of iniquity to control the many of mankind.

So these were SEVEN end times deceptions.

Are there more?

Oh, yes.

The stories of the wolves in the pulpits and the false teachers are very much different from the words in the Bible.

There are a great many more.

HOWEVER, these are seven of the biggest deceptions.

DOES the reader believe one or more of these great deceptions?

DOES the reader ever question WHY he believes these stories?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

TRIBULATION IN THE END TIMES: What is Tribulation and How to Overcome It

“Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.”
–2Corinthians 7:4

WHAT IS TRIBULATION?

There is some confusion about tribulation in the end times.

Many of the church folk have heard Revelation 7:14 about the end times saints coming through great tribulation to make it into the kingdom of heaven.

“And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

But most do not know what tribulation IS.

Tribulation is NOT necessarily persecution or physical torture.

While many use “tribulation” as a sort of shorthand for affliction, persecution or other physical threats, the Greek word used for “tribulation” is “thlipsin” which Strong’s Concordance defines as

properly, pressure (what constricts or rubs together), used of a narrow place that “hems someone in”; tribulation, especially internal pressure that causes someone to feel confined (restricted, “without options”).

So tribulation is a feeling of internal pressure caused by the knowledge that one has no escape or is “without options.”

This clearly explains why the end times are such a period of tribulation.

Tribulation is PRESSURE; internal pressure caused by the knowledge that one is hemmed in by one’s decision to follow Jesus Christ in spite of the bad consequences caused by the wicked of this world.

Tribulation weighs heavily on the believer, in good times and in bad.

In good times, because the believer knows it cannot last; in bad times, because the believer knows they likely will become worse.

Tribulation is knowing that the world’s wickedness will only get worse until the return of Jesus Christ.

Tribulation is the internal pressure of being caught between a rock and hard place.

Tribulation is that feeling of “being squeezed.”

And tribulation is the constant companion of the end times believer.

HOW TO OVERCOME TRIBULATION

The believer is promised much tribulation in this present world–particularly in the times in which we live (the end times).

And, as the Word of God is truth, the believer goes through much tribulation before he can enter the kingdom of God.

“Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.”
–Acts 14:22

Previously, it was revealed what tribulation was–as well as some other information on tribulation.

The end times (the last days immediately before the return of Jesus Christ) are promised to be a time of “great tribulation” for believers.

“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”
–Revelation 7:9-10,13-14

The end times believer is promised great tribulation and he can rest assured that great tribulation will be his lot.

How does the end times believer get through this great tribulation; this great feeling of “no escape“?

The answer, of course, is contained in God’s Word.

“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren [Satan] is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
–Revelation 12:10-11

So believers will overcome end times tribulation by the blood of the Lamb, the word of their testimony (of Jesus Christ) and they will not love their lives unto death.

End times believers will overcome tribulation and end times persecution by being covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, by confessing and declaring the power of Jesus Christ to a largely-unbelieving world and by not getting too wrapped up in this life in this present world.

In other words: by focusing on what lies ahead, NOT what is happening at present or what happened previously.

IS the reader prepared for tribulation?

DOES the reader believe he can escape tribulation by making peace with this world?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

DOES the reader believe he is saved?

Power of God Unto Salvation: Gospel of Jesus Christ

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

So many insist they want to see the “power of God.”

HOWEVER, most of those who make this claim do NOT believe the Bible about the power of God.

God’s Word declares that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the “power of God unto salvation.” YET, they do not believe the gospel and will not preach it.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16

Little wonder then that unbelievers do not often see the manifestation of the power of God.

IF the reader wants to see the power of God, preach (share) the gospel of Jesus Christ.

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
-—1 Corinthians 1:18-19

The power of God is usually very much different from the power that man knows. Man sees God’s power.

HOWEVER, many do not recognize the power of God when they see it.

Therefore, many do not believe it exists.
