US Air Force base takes down nativity scene after someone complains that it violated the constitution – All of the Christians who are complaining that your constitutional rights are being violated by the government eradicating Christianity from the public view: stop it.
The US constitution was set up to do exactly the things that are being done today in its name. It doesn’t matter if you agree with what’s being done. The fact remains: it is being done and the US constitution is not in the least stopping it now, is it?
All of the websites with pictures of Thomas Jefferson and Bible quotes: stop it. Jefferson was no Christian and no friend of Christianity. And if you believe Dominion theology proponents who claim that the USA was founded as a Christian nation–you’re just ignorant of history and depending on the enemy for your facts. So, stop it.
Instead of digging in your heels and reveling in half-truths and ignorance: do a little research.
All of you who have relatives who “fought for this country.” Stop it. Our relatives fought to preserve the “American way of life.” We’re living that life now. If you don’t agree with it, you should have thought of that years ago–before that way of life began to affect you in ways with which you now disagree.
The USA is going about the business of doing all of the things it was set up to do at its founding. Stop complaining.

Columbia, SC to exile its homeless
The Columbia City Council unanimously approved the plan, creating special police patrols that would enforce “quality of life” laws involving loitering, public urination and other crimes not necessarily restricted to the homeless population. Those officers would then offer the homeless a choice: Go to jail for their homelessness or be shuffled to a 240-bed, 24-hour shelter on the outskirts of town, which they wouldn’t be allowed to easily leave.
The moral of this story: It’s going to get dangerous to be poor and/or homeless in the USA. Being “homeless” is now a crime.

How Far Will Stocks Fall This Time When The Fed Decides To Slow Down Quantitative Easing? – This is a rhetorical question, right? And one has to consider: with QE going full bore for–let’s see, how many years?–the locomotive of inflation will continue barreling down the tracks so hard and fast, picking up speed with every little green slip of paper that’s been printed, that the PRICE of stocks will zoom into the lower stratosphere.
And when the brake of stopping the printing presses is finally applied, the money supply will be moving so fast, that brake will dissolve into a little vapor of smoke. At that point, the stock market will be devoid of everything but the bogus bucks that have been printed and doled out to banks to artificially inflate the market. Oh, and the suckers.
It’s almost there now.
When this all goes down, the price of falling stocks will be the least of anyone’s worries.

So many appear fascinated with a “new thing” or a “new way” or a “new order.”
“But they said, We will not walk therein.”
That seems to be the story of many 2013 American Christians.

Top 5 Holiday Foods to avoid at Any Cost – (h/t:L) Eggnog is dissed because of the sugar it contains. For some reason, sugar is one of those foods that get demonized to the extreme. The healthy–or unhealthy–claims about sugar have fluctuated on a cycle second only to coffee over the years.
The upshot is that many folks were driven from sugar into some form of synthetic sweetener. Can that be better?
