Common Core Worksheet tells kids to Choose 2 to remove from the Constitution – That’s easy. Remove the 18th and the 21st amendments and absolutely nothing would change. The 18th brought about Prohibition of alcohol; the 21st, repealed the 18th.
The 17th Amendment, “Establishes the direct election of United States Senators by popular vote,” could also go by the wayside without any tears from this corner. The 23rd, which gave the District of Columbia 3 electoral votes, would also be a prime candidate for elimination. The 26th and 27th would also be no great loss.
So there’s six amendments which could disappear without anything changing for the worse–and maybe the better.
This is all likely to come as a shock to those who place their faith in the US constitution to protect their “rights.” Basically, nine unelected people in Washington DC decide what rights the American people deserve to have. Those who put their faith in the US constitution are doomed to be disappointed.
As a great many Americans are finding out to their great dismay.

Heresy Hunters: Weasels in our midst – A whine of epic proportions by that fairy tale spinner par excellence, LA Marzulli. Marzulli–one of the Nephilim-mongers–was horribly put out by the following link (The original story at Ephesians 511 blog seems to be gone but is reproduced at this link [Actually, the author is very reasonable in his tone. More restrained than probably this writer might be.]).
Here’s the whining point that Marzulli makes:
Gonzo was never contacted to get his side of the story. Of course Doug Hamp, Tom Horn, Chuck Missler and L. A. Marzulli weren’t contacted either.
NEWSFLASH! If one is a PUBLIC teacher, there is no need to get “his side of the story.” The public teaching is “his side of the story.” It’s interesting that Marzulli doesn’t dispute what was said or what happened (they almost never do).
Marzulli also throw in the following:
“Whatever happened to: Come let us reason together, or Iron sharpens iron?”
Sure, it’s always “Come let us reason together” after the fact. However, if no one calls out the false teacher, there’s no reasoning–just a continued fleecing of the flock.
A false teacher is to be marked and then avoided. [Romans 16:17] That’s all the authority one needs. Oh, and it isn’t a suggestion: it’s a command.
It’s interesting that the false teachers seemingly have no end to indignation. Tons of attitude, indignation and very little adherence to God’s Word–other than what they can make merchandise out of.
“And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.”

Any site who can elicit such a squeal from the likes of LA Marzulli deserves to be followed closely.
What the Apostle Paul might say to the Church in America – This is the essence of “religious freedom:” it’s a trick of Satan–and Americans have been brainwashed into believing that it’s part of paradise on earth.
Little wonder that the Babylonian whore Church springs from the midst of the “Land of the Free.”

Not nearly as pleasing to the flesh as praying down the judgments of God. But that is exactly why every kindred, every nation, every tongue will flock to the Babylonian whore Church: it will offer power and refuge amid the chaos for all of those who do not have real faith in God and Jesus.
It will be the perfect Church for those who walk by sight.
Amazing how Bible prophecy is unfolding before our very eyes.

Jeremiah, after following Ephesians511 blog for a while, I finally saw what’s obvious to many: we must follow the money trail to see whose heart isn’t right. I’m grateful that the Lord gave us a way to have “discernment for dummies.” It’s just so obvious now to me that when people are selling books and dvds, etc., they MUST be examined – we must be on the alert.
Thank you for this article filled with important news items and blogs with insight. (thanks for including my bit)

I believe you are correct. If it’s any consolation, it took me a little bit to learn this. After I became a Christian, I was in a rush to find out as much as I could. I wanted to make up for lost time. It was during this period that I discovered that practically every book which had “Christian” on the cover was something else. You really can’t judge a book by its cover.
Needless to say, after several years, I had to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of “Christian” books. They contained New Age, pagan, witchcraft, antichrist material! A good way of judging a Christian book: if the world is promoting a Christian book (or DVD or movie), it isn’t a Christian book. The world HATES Jesus. The world would gnaw its leg off rather than promote Jesus. It simply will not promote Jesus Christ.
The Nephilim-mongers (LA Marzulli, Hamp, Horn et al.) sucked me in at first. But then, I noticed that their entire eschatology was based on a bad reading of Genesis 6. Then I noticed that they had bad fruit–such as Marzulli’s attack of Ephesians 511 blog’s perfectly legitimate point.
Following the money trail is good! It is important to follow the money. When I was a heathen, I always knew that. Somehow, I thought it would be different once I became a Christian.

About tossing books that you discovered aren’t really Christian – I’ve done this too. Books are pleasant, or so it seems. I grew up hearing “books are our friends,” but this isn’t true – much poison is out there.
Yes, I believe that Marzulli should take correction. All of us need to sometimes.
