Are we on the road to World War 3? How much time do we have? Is there anything we can do about the events which are soon to overtake those living on the earth?
April 14 – Tensions in Crimea and Ukraine have continued, though there is a steady downward trend. The Corporate Media appears ready to move on to the next world hot spot.
Asia, after a gunfire exchange on the Korean peninsula between North and South Korea across the maritime border last week, has returned to normal.
Although clashes continue between Ukrainian and pro-Russian groups in Ukraine, this past week has been one of relative calm among the world’s likely flash points for world war.
SPECULATION: The Corporate Media pattern over the last 10 years–especially in the last 24 months–has been to increase reporting and ramp up tensions in a particular area for a few weeks. Then, events will calm for a week or so, then ramp up in a different part of the world.
It appears that the world is in one of the short, “cooling down” periods before the next round of tensions.

General World War 3 Assessment for April 14, 2014:
Tensions in Ukraine, while cooling down from a few weeks ago, remain high in some parts of eastern Ukraine and around Crimea. 37% chance of World War III is DOWN slightly.
A continued chance of a domestic terror attack [+50%] leading to war in the Middle East.
North and South Korea, after trading fire last week, have returned to normal.
Japan, China, other Asia tensions: calm. The Middle East and North Africa remain a tinderbox awaiting a spark.

- Syria – steady with sporadic activity
- Jordan – down
- East Africa – steady – This includes South Sudan
- China – steady
- Japan – steady
- North Africa – steady
- Russia – leveling off; troops maneuvers on borders of neighboring countries
- USA – steady
- Great Britain – steady
- Egypt – steady
- Iran – steady
- Israel – steady
- Crimea [NEW] – up slightly. Unrest still reported in area’s largest cities with demonstrations and riots among pro-Russian groups still spreading.
April 14, 2014 – Tensions slightly higher and still potentially explosive in Crimea; steady in rest of Ukraine; normal in North, South Korea; steady in Asia; steady, Middle East; steady, elsewhere.
Overall Tension Assessment: steady, cooling but volatile in Ukraine; cooling down but explosive in Crimea. Expect a cooling off period, measured in weeks. North, South Korea return to normal
