Military Technology Explosion: Rule of the Beast

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and KNOWLEDGE SHALL BE INCREASED.”
—Daniel 12:4

Over 2,600 years ago, an angel told Daniel that at “the time of the end,” knowledge would be increased. Although we are now living in the end times, is there a “technology explosion” on the horizon?

The Bible has several verses which allude to the advanced technology in the end times.

Even though various prophecies concerning the end times were written thousands of years ago, they include illustrations of technologies and events with which modern readers are familiar.

WORLDWIDE SATELLITE TELEVISION

One of the most familiar verses is one written down almost 2,000 years ago.

“And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.”
—Revelation 11:7-10

God sends two witnesses to preach in Jerusalem for three-and-a-half years. After they are finished with their preaching, the beast will kill them. The whole earth sees the bodies of these two men lying in the streets of Jerusalem.

How do they see them?

Worldwide satellite television wasn’t around in 60-90 AD when John wrote Revelation.

In fact, the whole deceived earth rejoices because of the deaths of these two men of God.

MILITARY TECHNOLOGY EXPLOSION?

When the beast ascends to power, the entire deceived earth will wonder after him, asking “Who can make war against the beast?”

Why would the peoples of the earth say this?

Perhaps it’s because of the seemingly-awesome military technologies which are displayed by the beast for the world to see. Apparently, there is much war-making technology with which the public is yet to be familiar.

In the USA, the military’s capabilities are not publicized (in many cases) for years. For example, stealth fighters and bombers were in the US military’s arsenal for years before the public was informed of their existence.

By revealing a string of previous-unknown military technologies, it really will appear that a “technology explosion” is occurring.

Or, as Daniel was told 2600 years ago, “knowledge shall be increased.”

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?“
—Revelation 13:4

What military wonders do the world’s military commanders already have that will not be unveiled until the ascension of the beast?

In the battle for minds and souls, worldwide deception will be used.

Such deception is already at work.

What would be more deceptive (and effective) than a sort of “shock and awe” campaign using the world’s Corporate Media to promote the newly-unveiled military capabilities of the beast and his armies?

Of course the world’s people will say “Who is able to make war with him [the beast]?”

THE FORTY-TWO MONTHS OF THE DRAGON

“and all the world wondered after the beast.”
—Revelation 13:3

What other suppressed technologies will be revealed during the beginning of the beast’s three-and-a-half-year rule?

The whole world must be convinced that the beast government is the best thing that has ever happened to mankind. This beast government will be so loved by the deceived earth that true Christians will be hunted down and killed as evil troublemakers.

What medical or scientific discoveries will be unveiled?

The forty-two months (3 1/2 years) of dragon rule on earth will truly seem like a New Age to the deceived populations of the earth. Especially if those populations have been previously bombarded with fear by the world’s media.

The beast’s rule will be seen as peaceful; as a refuge of safety in a world of chaos.

God will ensure that the deceived stay that way by sending a strong delusion.

“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
—2 Thessalonians 2:11-12

There will be no “coming to the Lord” after God’s strong delusion.  ALL will be damned who believed not the truth.

Don’t get caught up in the deception.  Do not listen to the deceitful workers in the churches. Do not let what seems to be the overwhelming force employed for iniquity scare you into remaining a lost soul.

Do not let the beast’s media campaign of “shock and awe” frighten you into submission.

Is your calling and election sure?

Have you worked out your own salvation with fear and trembling?
