No Peace for the Wicked: Know Peace, Choose Jesus

No Peace for the Wicked

“But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.”
Isaiah 57:20-21

Pity the poor workers of iniquity.

Twice deceived: once deceived by their masters and spirits; and again by themselves, because they think no one deceives them.

The wicked: seemingly secure in much of what the world has to offer, yet SCARED and MISERABLE during the days of his existence.

“The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.”
Proverbs 28:1

The wicked may have stores of treasure, fame, earthly power, hidden knowledge, pleasures of the flesh, the praise of men and access to the demonic.

In short, the wicked appear to have all that this life has to offer.

YET, because they have made themselves the enemies of God Almighty, the Lord of hosts, they spend much of their time trying to distract from the ever-present fears, doubts and anxieties which pursue them.

“And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.”
Leviticus 26:17

Indeed, there is no peace for the wicked.

They find it hard to even confide their fears in others: who has sympathy for a man who seemingly has ‘everything?’

The world calls such a man ‘crazy‘ and ‘out of touch.’

And this is one way the world keeps such men in bondage: by downplaying their fears. But also: by offering that (drugs, alcohol, entertainment, distractions) which dulls the symptoms;  AND, in expressing contempt for the only One who can set them free.

Only by switching sides and transforming their minds can such men ever hope to find peace.

“Thou didst say, Woe is me now! for the LORD hath added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.”
Jeremiah 45:3

There is no peace for the wicked.

In the end times, the restless, angst-filled masses of humanity, spiritually tossed about as the sea; trusting in man, in paganism, in evil spirits; unable to find true peace: will turn to Satan’s man of sin and the Whore Church of Babylon in hopes of quieting the nagging anxiety of their agitated souls.

“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters…And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.”
Revelation 17:1,15

There is no rest for the wicked.

There is no peace in the world.

There is no peace for the wicked.

“There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.”
Isaiah 48:22

“Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.”
Jude 1:13

Money, power, knowledge, control, fame, pleasure: nothing matters if a man cannot have peace.

Peace: Find the Peace that Passeth all Understanding

The time for choosing peace of mind over the trinkets of this life is almost over.

Know Jesus,  know peace; no Jesus, no peace.

Choose peace of mind: choose Jesus Christ.

All one has to lose are the thousands of nagging worries.

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
