“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils”
–1Timothy 4:1
The end times is a time period marked by great deception.
Many of those deceptions will come in the form of stories told to the public–just as they are now.
Many of those stories are not true.
IN FACT, it is likely that many, many, many more people’s lives are marked by end times deception of all flavors than by the truth of God’s Word. This is not surprising as most have stopped believing the Bible.
Oh, those who SAY they believe the Bible is still a significant number–particularly among the church folks.
BUT those people, by-and-large, do not believe the Bible and DEMONSTRATE it on a daily basis. These folks talk a good game, but they would much rather believe lies and deception. They believe lies because IF they believed the truth, they would have to change the way they do things.
It is much easier instead to simply believe the stories; the lies; the narratives; the deceptions.
“That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits”
–Isaiah 30:9-10
“The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?”
–Jeremiah 5:31
Because these do not have a love for the truth, they shall suffer great end times deception.
“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”
–2Thessalonians 2:8-10
Not only will end times man be snared by his own willingness to believe lies and deception, but because end times man does not have a love of the truth, God Himself will send end times man “a strong delusion”, so that end times man will CONTINUE to believe the lies he so loves.
This strong delusion will ensure that end times man will be damned.
“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
–2 Thessalonians 2:10-12
Because end times man has rejected God’s Word as the truth and placed his faith in these man-created authorities of the world, end times man will believe lies instead of the truth.
A great deal of this end times deception will be dished up by the authorities the world has set up as a snare: education, entertainment, media, government, the churches, science among others: any worldly authority which challenges the Bible.
Which is ALL of them.
HOWEVER, a great many who congregate regularly in the buildings we call churches will be deceived . Because these men do NOT take it upon themselves to regularly study the Bible on their own (many attend “Bible studies” where they are pumped full of what the wolves tell them is in the Bible), they believe the lies and deceptions which are cleverly promoted by the counterfeit churches.
EVEN IF THEY SUSPECT THAT WHAT THEY ARE BEING TOLD IS A LIE (or otherwise doesn’t “sound right“), THEY WILL NOT LEAVE THE CHURCHES AND STRIKE OUT AND STUDY GOD’S WORD ON THEIR OWN.
Sad.
MORE: Satan Has Counterfeited the Christian Church
This is doubly sad because any who pay attention can see that the churches have been slowly wearing away at the bedrock of Christian principles and replacing them with the words of the dragon.
Church folk: Beware any stories which suddenly change for (supply any reason).
One of the most common reasons given for changing black into white is the one that goes: We have a better translation and so the meaning of the Bible is now changed! However, it is RARE that the churches will announce when they alter Scripture.
Another popular reason is one that goes: New discovery! We have discovered new proof that what you learned earlier in life was wrong!
Beware the new stories about God Almighty, His Son, Jesus Christ and God’s Word!
DOES the reader READ God’s Word (as the churches are constantly preaching)?
OR DOES the reader STUDY God’s Word (the God’s Word commands)?
It is not yet too late: there is still time to repent, place your faith for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?
