The tax on distilled spirits (whiskey) caused farmers in Western Pennsylvania (many had fought against the British) to rise up against the new government. They had risked their lives–supposedly because of “no taxation without representation.”
Now, the feds were taxing the easiest way for them to store their corn. They had believed the slogans of the rebels when they went to war.
But when the Feds want money, it’s always a different story.
Washington ordered out the militia of several states and rode at the head of these armed troops to put down the revolt. The Whiskey Rebellion was the first example of the Federal Government’s policy of “Don’t believe our flowery words when we need something from you. Just do as you’re told or we’ll crush you.”
Washington defended his use of executive power with real troops.
Using real guns with real bullets.

HOW MUCH TIME IS LEFT?
How much time is left before the “end of the world” (as it is called by non-believers)?
Among the heathen–particularly the heathen who populate the buildings known as the churches–probably the most popular topic is “How much time is left?”
“Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.”
–Mark 13:33While the Bible is clear no man knows that answer, this has not stopped all manner of false prophets and charlatans from setting dates as to the destruction of the earth and/or the return of Jesus Christ.

OF COURSE, the curiosity about how much time is left before the climax of human history (the return of Jesus Christ) is not restricted to the church folk alone.
“The end of the world” is topic popular with the wicked, worldly and wretched–as are various aspects of how the heathen imagine the events of the “end of the world” will play out.

Another topic popular with the tares is the many and various predictions of WHEN the end will come.

Another date–all are candidates for when the tares and other wicked and foolish men predict the “end of the world.”
What does God’s Word have to say on the matter?
“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”

The LORD alone knows the day and hour of the end (the return of Jesus Christ).
Anyone claiming to know the time of the end has just confirmed that they are one of the wicked.
So how much time is left?
Only the LORD knows for sure.
HOWEVER, Jesus DID impart some important knowledge on the matter.
“Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.”
–Matthew 24:32-33
In other words, believers will know the SEASON before the return of Jesus Christ.
Believers–or ANY MAN–will NOT know the day and the hour the return takes place.
Wars and rumors of war; earthquakes in divers (many different) places; iniquity abounding; love growing cold: all are sure signs that the return of Jesus is near. There are other signs which have already taken place.
Two sure signs have NOT yet taken place.
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition”

- A number of deceptive stories–claimed to be from the Bible–have already been disseminated in order to confuse and deceive those who do not study the Bible.
How much time is left?
We are now in the season, that much is clear.
But no man knows the day and the hour.
Therefore, the reader would be wise to WATCH!

Satan’s Mouthpiece (the Corporate Media) has always had a problem: what to do when there are too many rich and celebrated doing NOTHING “newsworthy.” When the media gets tired of reporting what the rich and celebrated are wearing, they turn to the tried-and-true method of of fake “feuds” to generate cheap, plastic “news.” Sports, politics and celebrity culture–wherever the rich and celebrated congregate: these are the arenas where readers can most often find stories of “feuds.”
Oh–and pro wrestling…
One can depend on those who labor for the mystery of iniquity to act, in not only an EVIL manner, but also in a very repetitive one as well.
Case in point: when two followers of Satan are working together, one of the first things they do is establish that they 1-do not like each other; 2- they hate each other; or, 3- are fighting against one another.
Democrats and Republicans, Russia and the USA, members of the same family who toil together for evil ends, famous celebrities who are “feuding” with each other: it happens so often, one occasionally has to wonder,

BILLY GRAHAM’S FALSE REVIVAL
94-year-old Billy Graham’s warning for America – Billy Graham is praying for “a great spiritual awakening in America.”
The headline comes from a piece at WND which states “EDITOR’S NOTE: This is the first of a seven-part series by veteran journalist Troy Anderson about major evangelists who are turning their attention toward America to help ignite what Billy Graham describes as an end-times “great spiritual awakening.”
Apparently, Graham forgot he made the following televised statement in 1997 to Robert Schuller: “…And I don’t think that we’re going to see a great sweeping revival, that will turn the whole world to Christ at any time.”However, the WND article paints a different picture.
At a time when many believe the midnight hour on God’s prophetic clock is fast approaching, major evangelists – Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, Bonnke, Laurie, Chuck Smith, Banning Liebscher and others – are turning their attention toward America in the hope of helping ignite an end-times awakening.
One wonders how Billy Graham, who renounced the gospel of Jesus Christ in 1997, could help “ignite an end-times awakening?”

“He’s calling people out of the world for His name, whether they come from the Muslim world, or the Buddhist world, or the Christian world or the non-believing world, they are members of the Body of Christ because they’ve been called by God. They may not even know the name of Jesus but they know in their hearts that they need something that they don’t have, and they turn to the only light that they have, and I think that they are saved, and that they’re going to be with us in heaven.”
1997: (VIDEO) Billy Graham denies Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father

Graham then agreed with Schuller who said, “There is a wideness in God’s mercy.”

We know what Billy Graham and his cohorts are saying about end time revival. What does the Bible say?
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”
–2 Thessalonians 2:3
“Let no man deceive you by any means” appears to be fairly straightforward–and yet church-goers are deceived. Picking up experiences, feelings, imaginations and emotions while laying down their Bible.
Jesus was even more explicit in His warnings.
“And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.[…] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before.”
–Matthew 24:3-5, 24-25
The hunger for “signs and wonders” will help fuel this great end times apostasy that will look remarkably like true Christian revival. The Bible says it will unfortunately fool many Christians. However, it will not fool Jesus.
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work
iniquity.”
–Matthew 7:22-23
Mobilizing U.S. pastors for End Times Revival and Conference
The Bible has a great deal to say about the spiritual condition of the Church in the last days. Most of it is not good. When Jesus returns, will he find a “great awakening” led by such men as Billy Graham?
“Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”
–Luke 18:8
Increasing evil, times of peril, a huge apostasy of those who profess to be Christians, false teachings, false prophets, deceptive signs and wonders, and a delusion that will even deceive God’s own people if or when possible: scripture is full of pictures of the end times before the coming of Jesus and they all pretty much paint a bleak picture.
The Bible does say that there will be a great sweeping show of spirituality in the end times. But it is not good.
Does this mean that we are to stop witnessing? Of course not. Christians are commanded to proclaim the good news of the gospel to unbelievers.
But scripture says that it will be “as in the days of Noah” before Jesus comes back. Were the days of Noah a time of great revival?
“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
–Genesis 6:5
It is and will be a harsh climate in which to be be a Christian: a time of spiritual hand-to-hand combat; a time of winning souls one at a time.
“I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”
–Luke 15:7
Will Billy Graham lead a great end times awakening?
Perhaps.
Will it be a great Christian awakening?
“Behold, I have told you before.”
