Autumnal equinox

In 2019, the autumnal equinox—also called the September equinox—is Monday, September 23.

Yes, today marks the first day of fall–in the NORTHERN HEMISPHERE.

In the SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE, September 23 is the first day of SPRING.

To the pagans, the autumnal equinox is also known as Mabon.

On or around September 21 (or March 21, if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere), for many Pagan and Wiccan traditions it is a time of giving thanks for the things we have, whether it is abundant crops or other blessings. It’s a time of plenty, of gratitude, and of sharing our abundance with those less fortunate.

Origins of the Word “Mabon”: There is a lot of spirited conversation in the Pagan community as to where the word “Mabon” originates. While some of us would like to think that it’s an old and ancient name for the celebration, there’s no evidence to indicate that it’s anything other than modern.
Mabon: The Autumn Equinox

Where did the term “Mabon” come from?

There are a number of stories told by the pagan.

This festival is now named after the the God of Welsh mythology, Mabon. He is the Child of Light and the son of the Earth Mother Goddess, Modron. In truth, there is little evidence that Mabon was celebrated in Celtic countries and the term Mabon was applied as recently as the 1970’s. All part of our reconstructed Paganism…
Mabon/Autumn Equinox September 21st-22nd

For the next THREE years (2020, 2021 and 2022), the autumnal equinox will be on September 22.

The pagans have many suggestions for celebrating Mabon.

How to Celebrate Mabon

Druids used this time of year to honour the god of the forest, The Green Man. He is a symbol of life, nature and divinity. Pagans see the Green Man as a symbol of seasonal renewal. The Green Man is seen as a representation of The Horned God, which is viewed as the masculine side of divinity.

10 Ways to Celebrate Mabon and The Autumn Equinox

Mabon is also known as the witches Thanksgiving.

The world has spent significant resources–particularly in the Corporate Media (Satan’s Mouthpiece–in promoting Mabon to the public (which is one reason the reader has likely heard of this pagan holiday).

DOES the reader have any guesses as to why Mabon is more openly celebrated in the end times than previously?

HOW many does the reader know who openly celebrate this day?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
