“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.”

One of the key components (kingdoms/countries) of the coming, one-world beast empire suffers what appears to be a deadly wound.
The country will be desolate.
The country will look like a basket case; it looks like it’s ready for the ash heap of history–and IF history teaches anything, it teaches that men finally turn to God when natural disasters occur.
Interest in God goes up when natural disasters hit
This fact will in NO WAY be overlooked by the dragon and the mystery of iniquity.
After America loses WW3, Americans will be told the USA lost because they deserted God. Americans, suffering chaos and disease and deprivation will believe this.
And the dragon will offer the country a god. And the USA, never having known God Almighty, will leap at the opportunity to climb back on to the gravy train, which is where their hearts were all along.
“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast…And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
–Revelation 13:4,8
AND THEN, the USA will come back AS IF FROM THE DEAD–Americans will once more be living the life, living the American Dream–back on top where they were MEANT to be.
Where god meant them to be.
Oh, the land will still be desolate: a spiritual desolation (as it is now). But the desolation will be once again be hidden behind the things of this world.
And all of the people will be given the opportunity to show their love for some type of idol/icon/image of their country.
Those who don’t join in will be killed.
But practically EVERYONE will join in.
Because you know, how can you turn down something that is for “god and country?”
Are you a patriot or not?
Don’t you know a good thing when you see it?
Are you a hater?
Don’t you believe in second chances?
Don’t you love god?
And a people who only recently had been eating dirt and drinking filthy water and who had no money and no electricity and no jobs will, of course, want to show their appreciation and gratitude.
Because that’s the way Americans are.

The Gospel is Hidden to Those who are Lost
