“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
–2Timothy 4:3-4
“And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
The Word of God does not lie: men HAVE turned their ears from the the truth and turned to fables. These fables are literally everywhere these days.
One of the places where one can hear many of these fables is in the buildings which dot every village, town and city through the World’s Greatest Christian Country Ever!™
We call these buildings “the churches.”

The fables told in the counterfeit churches are many and varied. Here are a few of the more popular ones.
NOTE: This is in no way an exhaustive list. That would be beyond the scope of this article.
1-The people who show up in the churches are Christians.
Of all of the fables, this is one of the worst.
“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”
–2Corinthians 11:13-15
- It appeals to men’s pride.
- It prevents the lost from being saved.
- It brings reproach on the name of Jesus Christ by presenting lost counterfeits and ministers of Satan to the world and calling them “Christians.“
- It allows the enemy to hold up the churches as a source of “moral authority” when they are clearly not.
- It contribute to the lie that there can be a compromise reached between the Christian and the world.
- It allows the enemy to manufacture support for his horrific sins by pretending that “Christians” support such behaviors (such as homosexuality, sorcery, drunkenness, divination, witchcraft, secret societies, etc.).

2- Christians can make peace with the world.
“Because you know, Christians have to live too.”

“Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)”

God wants to bless you. Living good is God’s blessings!
“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

Time and again the pew-sitters make their life’s decisions based on financial considerations. Later, many try to justify their decisions by dressing them up in one or two non-applicable Bible verses.
Again, when the world sees the church-dwellers living for the world, it brings reproach on the name of Jesus Christ.
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”

3- One can be saved without the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The churches offer a wide variety of other gospels.
They have to: they refuse to offer the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”

OF COURSE, the wolves are sly: they constantly TALK ABOUT the gospel. They just refuse to PREACH the gospel.
“We have to have the gospel!”
“I love the gospel!”
“Let’s hear it for the gospel!”
And so, the sinner’s prayer, the ABCs of Salvation, asking Jesus into your heart, the altar call, filling out cards at revivals and any other number of substitute gospels are offered to the sinner.
ALL are powerless.
“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
–2Timothy 3;5
NONE lead to the transformed life.
And that’s by design.
Otherwise, EVERY church wouldn’t be doing the same antichrist behaviors.

4- Those who were formerly enemies of God have “seen the light,” repented and joined the pagan churches as a sign of their new lives.
One of the most popular fables told in the churches is how So-and-So used to be a [witch, homosexual, satanist, atheist, etc.]. but somehow got saved (even though this poor person NEVER had the gospel preached to them) and joined the congregation at the Holy Church of What’s Happening.
These days, it seems there are almost as many witches within the walls of the churches than in the groves and the graveyards.
The tall tale of the former witch or former diviner (who just happens to have all of their former “tools of the trade” handy) is one of the most popular and repeated of the fables of the pagan churches.
Make no mistake: God can–and does–save anyone anytime in any circumstances.
However, once one has the Holy Spirit, one will likely be led to make a beeline away from the warmed-over witchcraft and occult rituals one finds in the churches.
It’s also telling how many “former” witches defend the occult rituals and practices which have been imported into the churches from paganism and witchcraft.

5- Smiling faces and friendly handshakes equal a love of Jesus Christ.
My church family is just so special to me!
“For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”
–Romans 16:18
These are only five of of the fables told by in the church buildings.
There are many more.
The Bible calls these men “false apostles, wolves in sheep’s clothing, deceitful workers, ‘[those] that would pervert the gospel of Christ,’ evil workers, dogs, unruly and vain talkers, deceivers, ravenous wolves, false prophets, false teachers, Satan’s ministers, liars, men of corrupt minds, evil men, seducers, deceived and deceiving, scoffers, mockers, antichrists, ungodly men.”
These are the men the Bible warned would be in the end times churches.

NO ONE IS SAVED BY A CHURCH. It is not too late to transfer one’s allegiance from one of the churches to the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Does the reader believe the Bible?
IF the answer is “yes,” then the reader HAS to believe what the Bible declares about the end times churches.
The Bible describes the people who populate the end times churches.
It is not very complimentary.
What does the Bible say about those who inhabit the end times churches?
Grievous wolves, ravening wolves, wolves in sheep’s clothing, seducers, evil men, false prophets, false Christs, ungodly men, “men…speaking perverse things,” false teachers, “them which cause division and offences contrary to doctrine…by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple,” false apostles, deceitful workers, “ministers of Satan” who present themselves as “ministers of righteousness,” ear-tickling false teachers: this is who the Bible warns will be in the churches.

Has the reader placed his trust in a building and the inhabitants of such a building?
The reader has a choice–and No, God will NOT understand why you chose something that contradicts His Word and commandments over Him.
There is still time yet to change directions (repent) and throw yourself on the mercy of an ever-merciful God Almighty.
