Much is made of “talking it out” with a person.
Much is made of presenting a person with “just the facts, ma’am.”
But a person who is deceived will construct their own reality, regardless of the facts.
This is a prime reason the modern deceived man gropes about complaining“That just doesn’t make any sense!”
When the stories one has been indoctrinated with fail to explain the facts in front of a person, the only thing that person can (truthfully) say is “That just doesn’t make any sense!”
Much is made of presenting a person with the facts.
But facts do not matter to a deceived person. Nothing matters to a deceived person except maintaining their deception. Some writers call this “putting one’s head in the sand.”
Because the person is deceived, he will labor long and hard to fit the facts into the deception he calls “reality.” Most modern men have rejected the truth; but modern man STILL has to make sense of his life.
That is why the false reality which the mystery of iniquity has constructed for the masses holds such an appeal for the deceived modern man: it helps him make sense of the world around him.
Until it doesn’t.
When the facts just do not fit his false reality, the deceived person is at a complete loss to explain the facts.
Helplessly, he resorts to sputtering “That just doesn’t make any sense!”
And so, most moderns will gladly submit to uttering this phrase from time-to-time rather than seek after the truth.
Which is the primary reason modern man is so enslaved, yet does not know it.
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”
–John 8:32,36
DOES the reader find himself uttering the phrase “That just doesn’t make any sense?”
HAS the reader ever wondered why so many everyday things do not “make sense”?
THERE is still time to change direction (repent) and place one’s trust in Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
