Is the Memory Hole in the Bible?

The Memory Hole

“The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.”
–Proverbs 10:7

Over the past several months, the “memory hole” has been a topic which has been visited more than once in these pages.

Actually, the topic has been the “recent rapid expansion of the memory hole.”

What is the memory hole?

A memory hole is any mechanism for the alteration or disappearance of inconvenient or embarrassing documents, photographs, transcripts, or other records, such as from a website or other archive, particularly as part of an attempt to give the impression that something never happened.

Writer George Orwell coined the term “memory hole” and wrote about it in his dystopian novel, Nineteen Eighty-Four. In the novel, the job of altering the past in order to keep control of the future and present was the job of the Ministry of Truth.

Nineteen Eighty-Four was a dystopian work. The times in which we live are a dystopian reality. The true condition of man is unmasked in the end times and man is revealed for who he is.

It is not a pretty picture.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Orwell wrote about the existence and the expansion of the memory hole in Nineteen Eighty-Four. He also wrote about how many people would be occupied by its task of altering history to reflect and reinforce whatever the latest words coming from the mouths of the day’s political leaders.

All contrary information OR any information upon which someone could challenge what the leaders were claiming simply disappeared down the memory hole. In the Digital Age, there is no more messy cutting out or airbrushing hard copies of photographs and old newspaper articles: altering and deleting such information has become as easy as clicking a few buttons or a few mouse strokes.

A memory hole of sorts existed prior to the dawning of the computer and its various personal information devices (cellphones, wearable tech, etc.), but it concerned itself with a very few, very select pieces of history.

One of these select few historical efforts involved the flood of Noah’s time, the pre-flood civilization and technologies and all things historic and scientific relating to these topics–especially the megalithic structures which dot the entire earth which were built by the pre-flood civilization.

PURPOSES OF THE MEMORY HOLE

Once more, the memory hole chiefly concerned itself with a chosen few projects UNTIL RECENTLY.

Although the dropping of all sorts of information down the memory hole began years ago, its expansion has been noticed over the past few months across any number of Internet platforms.

This expansion spans music, lyrics, biographical details, books, quotes–in short, any piece of information which becomes inconvenient to the latest government/media line ON ANY SUBJECT.

By retroactively changing Internet articles (sometimes going back years), the elites seek to stamp out any evidence for a contradictory timeline or viewpoint.

There has even been a condition invented which pretends to explain many having contradictory memories from what the government/media is promoting. This condition–dubbed “The Mandela Effect“–seeks to reassure the many who have contradictory memories of events or information that they are wrong AND THAT such “collective false memories” are common and normal.

Some might wonder, “WHY should those who rule this present world devote so much time and energy to such an odd thing as the memory hole?”

There are several goals.

Chief among them is DECEPTION.

There are no specific references in the Bible to the memory hole. There are a number of references to end times deception.

“Deception” would be such a tremendous problem of the times immediately before He returned that Jesus Christ devoted three warnings about this extremely important pitfall  the very night before He was crucified.

“And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.”
–Matthew 24:3-4

The memory hole is one of those end times deceptions.

Another chief goal of the memory hole is CONTROL.

“He who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past.”

This tampering with important reference and source material extends to God’s Word. There’s a reason for the explosion in the number of  “easy-to-read,” “modern translations” of the Bible which have taken place in the past fifty-sixty years.

The expansion of the memory hole is merely more proof of the times in which we now live, as well as more proof of the real motives and purpose of those who exercise power in this present world.

Along with growth of the memory hole has been the concurrent propaganda campaign waged against people trusting to their memories. False memories, implanting false memories, the untrustworthy quality of one’s memory and similar topics have become a staple in the Corporate Media’s heavy rotation of propaganda.

ONLY that which is in print (and which has been officially approved) can be trusted to be “true.” All else–including collective memories which differ from the official versions–are faulty and not to be trusted.

Another of the aims of the memory hole is to call into question everything that is not officially in print.

A FEW RANDOM THOUGHTS ON THE MEMORY HOLE

In addition, George Orwell himself had a few thoughts on the subject.

“But actually, he thought as he readjusted the Ministry of Plenty’s figures, it was not even forgery. It was merely the substitution of one piece of nonsense for another. Most of the material that you were dealing with had no connection with anything in the real world, not even the kind of connection that is contained in a direct lie. Statistics were just as much a fantasy in their original version as in their rectified version. A great deal of time you were expected to make them up out of your head.”

One of the positive outcomes which has resulted from the expansion of the memory hole has been to question EVERYTHING from worldly sources and double-check it using sources which one is certain have not been tampered with (older copies of reference books, the Bible, experiments undertaken by unimpeachable sources, etc.).

HOWEVER, if one is not aware of the memory hole, one cannot experience this positive outcome.

An incredible amount of information has been deleted and/or altered. But EVEN MORE will be deleted and altered as we approach the climax of human history.

It is only more proof that the only trustworthy source of truth is to be found in the Word of God.

“And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you”

DOES the reader suspect he cannot trust worldly sources of information?

DOES the reader KNOW he cannot trust worldly sources of information?

IN spite of all this, does the reader STILL put his faith for the future in these worldly sources?

There is still time to repent, place your faith for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

DOES the reader believe he is saved?
