God is Not a Man

Mondo Frazier -bagman

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
–Isaiah 55:8-9

Time and again, lowly, deceived man tries to drag God Almighty down to being just another man.

Particularly in the end times, various men pose questions they mistakenly believe disputes the very existence and nature of God.

“If God is all-powerful, then why then does he allow evil to exist?

” Is God all-powerful?  Is God all-good?  If God is unable to prevent evil, then he is not all-powerful. If God is not willing to prevent evil, then he is not all-good.

“If God is all-powerful, then why does he not provide comfort and aid to man in a world which appear to be inhospitable?”

The common denominator in these types of questions is that they all assume that God is a man.

That God thinks the way that man thinks.

That God values what man values.

That God behaves as a man behaves.

The Greek philosopher, Epicurus, who was skilled in dealing with men, thinks to confound God by caging him in a box constructed by man.

“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”
Epicurus

God is NOT man–regardless of how many men wish it to be otherwise.

God’s Word declares that God is another type of being.

God CREATED man, and God’s purposes and plans are not the same as man’s purposes and plans.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
–Isaiah 55:8-9

God’s Word records several instances of God Himself declaring He is NOT a man.

“I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man”
–Hosea 11:9

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”
–Numbers 23:19

“And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.”
–1SAMUEL 15:29

“I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.”
–Ezekiel 24:14

Man fancies himself very intelligent and very clever.  But man is a created being; created by God, who is infinitely more wise, more intelligent and more clever.

God has gifted man with His Word, to guide and counsel man.

But man–especially end times man–hungers to be the center of attention.

Man desires to be a god.

So man–especially deceived end times man–does not believe God’s Word.

“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”
–Matthew 5:5

God’s Word informs us that the meek will inherit the earth.  IF ONLY man is meek and humble and will submit himself to God (his Creator), he will thrive.

But Satan and his minions have trained end times man to HATE words such as “meek” and “submit.” End times man believes that HE will inherit the earth–and NO ONE will stand in his way.

Which is a prime reason there is coming a day when God will judge each and every man.

Did this man obey God’s Word?

Did that man humble and submit himself before God?

In that coming day of total, complete and fair judgment, the wicked will at last understand that they are not the center of the universe.

And man will, at last, understand that he is NOT God.

And that God is not a man.

DOES the reader wonder about God?

DOES the reader believe that the whole idea of God is just a fiction?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
