The Many Stories Told By Satan’s Storytellers to Stroke Satan’s Ego

stories

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”
–John 8:44

Known as the “father of lies,” it is little wonder that those who exalt and worship Satan tell tales themselves.

What follows are a few of the more notable tales told about Satan, “the prince of this world” in order to make the devil appear more powerful or a bigger figure than he really is.

In other words: stories told to stroke Satan’s satanic-sized ego.

1- Satan is the “god of this world.”

This is one of the oldest (and most heavily promoted of all the tall tales told by those who exalt Satan–particularly those who are embedded in the churches.

“yea, there is no God; I know not any.”
Isaiah 44:8

“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me:”
Isaiah 45:5

Would God’s Word declare Satan is the god of this world when God has emphatically declared that there are no other gods?

Of course not.

Isaiah 37:16 and 2 Kings 19:15 are both especially clear on this point.

“O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.”
Isaiah 37:16

“And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.”
2 Kings 19:15

“I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.”
Isaiah 42:8

Deuteronomy 4:39 flatly declares that the LORD is God “upon the earth”–which should settle any argument.

“Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.”
Deuteronomy 4:39
Satan is NOT the God of this World

In addition, the Bible verse used as “proof” by the satanists is 2CORINTHIANS 4:4.

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

2CORINTHIANS 4:4 is NOT referring to Satan.

Put aside the fact that nowhere in the context of those verses is the writer referring to Satan: the topic the writer is referring to during 2CORINTHIANS 4:4 is God Almighty.

God says a number of other times in Scripture that he blinds the minds/eyes of men so that they cannot receive the light/gospel–including just 8 verses earlier in 2 Corinthians.

“And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.”
2 Corinthians 3:13-14

“Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.”
Isaiah 6:10

“That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.”
John 12:38-40

God’s Word declares it is God Almighty who blinds the minds of men, not Satan.
Satan is NOT the God of this World

Again, Satan is called “the prince of this world.”

NOT the “god of this world.”

2- Satanists also point to Luke 4 as “proof” of Satan’s exalted status.

“And the devil, taking him [Jesus] up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”
–Luke 4:5-8

Those who worship Satan naturally desire to inflate the devil’s resume. This is the motivation behind many of the tales which seek to elevate Satan in the minds of the unwary.

The reasoning goes something like this: “Satan claimed to have all of the power of the world and could give it to whomever he chose. Jesus did not dispute this. Therefore, it must be true.”

But Jesus said plainly that “there is no truth in [Satan].”

Satan is a notorious liar–as are those who worship him.

(Though to be fair, many of those who mouth the lies about and from Satan do it out of ignorance.)

3- Satan controls the demons/evil spirits which are about in the world.

Satan does NOT control the devils/demons/evil spirits of this world. \

God does.

God controls devils/demons/evil spirits.

As the creator of all, this makes perfect sense.

It is also biblical, as ALL verses from the Old Testament concerning evil spirits affirm that evil spirits are sent FROM GOD.

“Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech: That the cruelty done to the threescore and ten sons of Jerubbaal might come, and their blood be laid upon Abimelech their brother, which slew them; and upon the men of Shechem, which aided him in the killing of his brethren.”
–Judges 9:23-24

“But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him. And Saul’s servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee. Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well.”
–1SAMUEL 16:14-16
Devils, Demons, Evil or Familiar Spirits: Ten Observations

Satan does NOT control devils/demons/evil spirits–though he will utilize their power whenever possible.

“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”
–Revelation 16:13-14

4- Satan knows Scripture.

While it is true that Satan can–like many men–recite chapter and verse of Scripture, the times the Bible show Satan doing this illustrates that Satan does not UNDERSTAND what he is saying–or else he is simply lying about what Scripture means.

Luke 4 and Matthew 4 both provide three instances of Satan quoting scripture to Jesus.

Luke 4 and Matthew 4 also both provide three instances of Satan completely misapplying that same Scripture and being corrected by Jesus.

HOWEVER, Satan was an angel, which means he is much more intelligent than man, so we are NOT to argue with Satan.

That is folly.

Man is supposed to submit to God and then RESIST Satan and that will prove to be sufficient.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
–James 4:7

5- Satan may lie to the rest of mankind, but the devil tells the truth when conversing with his followers.

“[Satan] was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him.”
–John 8:44

ALL who believe ANYTHING from Satan do so at their own risk.

So, these are five of the tales told by those who exalt and worship Satan.

As the world is fond of claiming:

Forewarned is forearmed.”

…though not always.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
