End Times Optimists

“That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.”

OPTIMIST

a person who is inclined to be hopeful and to expect good outcomes : someone who is given to optimism

In the end times, there are basically two different types of optimists.

The two different types of optimists are primarily distinguished by where each person has placed their hopes and faith for the future.

We will label the two different groups GROUP A and GROUP B.

GROUP A contains the workers of iniquity: the witches, the sorcerers, the satanists, the pagans, the idol worshippers and all those who have placed their faith and hopes for the future in man, the schemes of man and those entities which are highly interested in man and man’s world.

GROUP B contains those few who are real Christians: those who have placed their faith for the future entirely in God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Though both groups will have reason for optimism, only one group will see that optimism ultimately verified by events.

One group will see the realization of its long-awaited hopes and will revel in what they have worked for all of these many years has finally come to fruition.

The other group will suffer greatly during this time–but because God’s Word foretold such affliction, this group will NOT let these setbacks affect its optimism for the future.

IN FACT, such persecution and tribulation–because it was promised as a surety–will only make Group B’s optimism all that more certain.

After a few years, Group A will look like the ones most able to say “I told you so!

After 42 months, those who survive of Group B will prove to the world their hopes throughout the dismal times of the previous three-and-a-half years were based on a clear picture of the future and, because they KNEW God’s Word to be true, they KNEW what was going to happen all along.

Two groups of optimistic, end times people.

But only one group has reason for optimism for very long.

Which group will the reader be in?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
