PART II

Part I – A Few Questions for Those Who Believe This Life is An Illusion

There is more than one way to claim that this life (or reality) is only an illusion.

This article will detail several of those ways.

One of the oldest claims originates in Buddhism.

One tenet of Buddhism is its challenge of reality: many boil this all down to  insisting “life is an illusion.”

Reality in Buddhism is called dharma (Sanskrit) or dhamma (Pali). This word, which is foundational to the conceptual frameworks of the Indian religions, refers in Buddhism to the system of natural laws which constitute the natural order of things. Dharma is therefore reality as-it-is (yatha-bhuta).
[…]
Reality is seen, ultimately, in Buddhism as a form of ‘projection‘, resulting from the fruition (vipaka) of karmic seeds (sankharas). The precise nature of this ‘illusion’ that is the phenomenal universe is debated among different schools.

ANOTHER way to make the same claim was popular in the 1970’s–particularly among the college crowd: this life is nothing more than a dream.

The idea that life might be nothing more than a dream has given thousands of alcohol-addled youth a topic of discussion for years.

Satan’s Mouthpiece regularly presents this proposition to millions of people who have previously not heard of it.

Is Life a Dream?

The ability of the dream world to appear real has led many thinkers—philosopher René Descartes (1641) being the most prominent Western example—to wonder whether the world we experience while awake might itself be a dream. If the dream world feels just as real as the waking one (at least while we are in it), how can we know for sure that we’re not currently living in a dream—a dream from which we may one day wake up?

Is Life Really a Dream?

Thus personal experience, philosophy, and art have endorsed an idea that reality can somehow feel totally wrong under ordinary circumstances. The world feels real and substantial 99% of the time, which is proof enough, one would think.

Can You Prove That This Life Isn’t a Dream?

If I said to you, ‘This life is a dream’, how would you prove me wrong? How would you prove, without a doubt, that we’re not all dreaming and that the true ‘life’ is happening around our sleeping body in another universe?

ONE MORE: The idea that life is not real and is only an illusion got a BIG boost in the late 1990s from the movie, The Matrix and its plot that life/reality was  a computer-simulation.

[The Matrix] depicts a dystopian future in which humanity is unknowingly trapped inside a simulated reality, the Matrix, created by intelligent machines to distract humans while using their bodies as an energy source.

Here’s how to prove that you are a simulation and nothing is real

ONE LAST modern iteration of this idea seems to be that reality is not really real; that a person has no way of knowing what is real and that reality is only a concept.

OF COURSE, the Corporate Media–with a BIG assist from Science!–has helped in the promotion of this notion.

This has all led to the latest claim: that no one can determine what is real because there is NO such thing as an objective reality.

Which leads into Part III: Does all of this tie in to the recent media/cultural/entertainment/government promotion of virtual–and other false and manufactured realities?

And the BIG questions:

What is behind this promotion that life is not real?

To what advantage is the notion that one cannot determine if reality is real?

Why would Satan–who controls the Corporate Media (Satan’s Mouthpiece) and Science! (an ancient pagan religion)–want to this idea that “life is an illusion” to become popular?

DOES the reader believe that this life is not real?

It is not YET too late: there is still time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
