Every day–from the time the unbeliever wakes up until the unbeliever turns in for the day–the unbeliever wagers his eternal soul.
Because he is a NONBELIEVER, he does not believe God, Jesus Christ or God’s Word.
This puts such a man into a VERY precarious position.
Because he does NOT believe God’s Word–preferring to cling to his own devices and information–such a man will end up where God’s Word says ALL who are unbelievers will end up: A LAKE OF BURNING FIRE, created originally for the devil and his rebellious angels (not man).
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
–Revelation 21:8
“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels”
–Matthew 25:41
The NONBELIEVER is essentially wagering that he is SMARTER than God.
The NONBELIEVER is essentially betting that he KNOWS MORE THAN GOD DOES.
The NONBELIEVER is essentially making these bets because of the stories he has been told–many of them told to him from a young age.
EVERY DAY, the NONBELIEVER makes this bet, believing that HIS stories are more true and believable than the accounts written in God’s Word.
IF the reader is one who makes this BAD BET, let him change the path he is walking on. He is walking on the broad way to destruction.
“Enter ye in at the strait [narrow] gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
–Matthew 7:13-14
To the reader: do NOT become one of the MANY who wander down the broad way to destruction.
To the reader: be one of the FEW who gain eternal life.
Do NOT wager your eternal salvation because of some stories you were once told.
DOES the reader make the LOSING WAGER of his eternal happiness?
It is not YET too late–although time is surely running out: there is still a LITTLE time to change direction (repent), place your faith (hope) for the future entirely on Jesus Christ and enter the kingdom of heaven.
DOES the reader believe he is saved?

DOES the reader believe he is NOT saved?
Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
