Christian Persecution: Jesus is not Beating His Bride, He’s Choosing It

DOES PERSECUTION OF THE SAINTS MEAN JESUS IS BEATING UP HIS BRIDE? That's what men say.
DOES PERSECUTION OF THE SAINTS MEAN JESUS IS BEATING UP HIS BRIDE? That’s what men say.

“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.”
Matthew 5:11

Iraqi PM takes steps to combat Christian persecution

Christian persecution in the Middle East is back in the news again

(Did it ever really leave?)

Which poses a question for all of those who have been deceived by the pre-tribulation rapture fables: Is Jesus beating His bride in Iraq?

Persecuted Christians in the Middle East: Why is Jesus Beating His Bride?

The world’s contention (as opposed to God’s Word) is that persecution is the same as God abusing His bride, the Church.

This is not only unbiblical, it is America-centic (as are the majority of the most apostate arguments).

Persecution for the sake of witnessing for Jesus is GLORY and a cause for the believer to REJOICE!

Oh how different were the reactions of Peter and John from the fear-driven cowardice of apostate pew-sitters over enduring persecution for the name of Jesus.

“And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.”
Acts 5:41

This doesn’t mean that all believers are looking forward to persecution.

(Some may.)

But persecution is not God’s Wrath as so many in the churches have been taught.

Those who inhabit the churches tremble that they may be called upon to suffer for the name of Jesus.  Apostates who smile and gush how much they love Jesus are scared witless by the prospect their empty words may call for action.

Hypocrites!

The American Church has morphed into a modern version of the Pharisees: they have God on their lips but their minds and hearts are on the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eye and the pride of life.  If one verse sums up the modern American Church, perhaps it is Matthew 15:8.

“This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.”
Matthew 15:8

Jesus warned of end times deception. Satan is inhumanly, infernally clever at deception.  But those sitting in the churches dismiss Satan as a buffoon.  Meanwhile the multitudes of unsaved church-goers sink deeper into the enemy’s deceptive doctrines, led by the man-pleasers who infest the pulpits.

  • Pray for the American churches.
  • Pray that God gives the lost a real love for the truth.
  • Pray that God opens the eyes of those who are deceived and saves them from the deception that is rampant in the churches.
  • Pray that a merciful God will pry open the hearts of stone of those who claim to love His Son.
  • Pray that those who inhabit the churches will pray to not be deceived.
  • Pray for those workers of iniquity who populate the churches: that the truth might be revealed to them and they turn from the wide path to destruction.
  • Pray for the lost who populate the churches: that they might finally hear the gospel and be saved.

The ungodly, worldly compromise has so infected the American churches that they cannot distinguish between God’s Word and the arguments of man–if they ever could.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
1 Corinthians 2:14

Wolves and hirelings preach flesh-pleasing deception from the pulpits and the people in the pews raise their hands and clap for more ear tickling.

Persecution is Jesus beating his bride?

Apostate nonsense!

Persecution is Jesus choosing his bride–which is why so many of the ungodly sight-walkers, clinging to the falsehood of divine deliverance from persecution, will be the very ones cheering the loudest when the man of sin is revealed.

Those who will not live for Jesus during good times will not die for Him in the bad times.

Persecution, Tribulation, Troubles, Trials: What the Bible says to Christians

“…broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:”
Matthew 7:13

“Broad is the way”–which is one reason over 90 percent of those inhabiting the American churches clings to the fables of rapture-ready deceivers.

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3:22-23

IF one is a believer, he WILL suffer persecution.

“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
2 Timothy 3:12

Is the reader a believer?

It’s not yet too late.

Time is Running Out: Today is the Day of Salvation

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ”
1 Corinthians 15:1-8

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
-–Romans 1:16
